@CShandy01 I'm secondary too. I teach Year 6 to Year Twelve. Year Six because I manage the transition from KS2 to KS3 🙄

@wannabeamummysobad I also had a 7 week scan with DD. It was so nice to physically see on screen and such a good reassurance. Good luck 🤞🏻

@MrsRosaline I think you're right here! I'm not even remotely excited which shows my trust issues with these 🤣 Ive had 4 with a line on since, two very late last night and two this AM. Yours looks so positive!! Mine is nowhere near that!! I'll get some branded ones today and if it's nothing, I will NOT test again!

Yes they're so dodgy! When I read all the bad reviews I thought 'well clearly people just aren't using them correctly' but no, they are rubbish. It wasn't just one that came up like that - quite a few did!

@hoola23 ooooh that sounds so promising!! how many dpo are you now?? Deffo get a couple of first response ones to get a more definite answer. Crossing everything for you! I genuinely squealed when I saw the line!!

11dpo for me today and I did a cheapie and still BFN. Thrown out the lot got 1 clear blue left which I'm going to leave until after AF, but I have a sneaky suspicion I'm out this month cannot keep testing everyday as it's destroying me and I have no will power. So would rather just go cold turkey.

@CShandy01 just counting down the mins until boots opens! I've been reading up about wondfo pg tests and of course there's a lot of people saying false positives. I've always used these and never had even a squinter. But 4 tests in a row all with two lines is just cruel!! But with that dodgy one a 6dpo I have a feeling these are just a bad batch. I've thrown them out now in protest, defo do the same and just save the good ones if AF doesn't show. The stress is totally not worth it!!
I'm 10 DPO today. 11 DPO is still early, it could happen!! I know how you feel though, I feel like 11DPO is always my magic day and if nothing has shown I always right the month off

@MrsRosaline it's so mean isn't it!! I never leave Amazon reviews but I'm going to let all my frustration out on there today 🤣🤣🤣

I'm a huge advocate of throwing the cheap ones out and just using proper ones closer to when period is due! It's just too tempting to test all day everyday otherwise 😂

@MrsRosaline 100% agree! I used to like the cheapies to fund my POAS habit but I've seen the light. I pledge I will NEVER use cheapies again, will wait till day of AF and then test with the good ones!

@MrsRosaline @hoola23 I'm with you both! I think because I became pregnant with my DD straight away I never had any of this testing worry malarkey. Mostly because I didn't know what the hell I was doing and just waited for my period (which never came).

Now I've gone through it and know what to expect, I'm symptom spotting all the time and testing like a mad woman. Not worth it.

Not using cheapies again and I'll just wait for Mother Nature to take its course....and thank god work is here again to distract me in future TWW!

@hoola23 I can definitely see a line. Did it come up in the time frame? Have you shone a torch through the back of the test 😂

@MrsRosaline it came up after about 30 secs and I took the pic straight away to show you all🤣 I had to rush out as my DH wanted to go out and I don't want to tell him anything just yet so was being all sneaky!!🤣🤣 FRERs are instant results though aren't they, as in you don't have to wait?

So I was complaining about pinching pain all day yesterday and today, and before I threw away the cheapie sticks, DH said to use the 1 clear blue just to see. Of course it was a BFN. Had a bloody good sob and just thought "F it".

I'm going to disappear from the Googling and the chats until either 1) AF arrives in which case I'll come back and update or 2) I get a BFP and I'll still update.

@hoola23 please let us know how it goes with the testing tomorrow! Even if I won't reply, I will look out for your post and still will be doing a happy dance for you!

@newtolineofduty yeah the line on the frer is super faint so as soon as I came home I did this one. It's the CB early detection digital which flashes when you've done enough wee collection. Really good! I'm going with this is my BFP finallllllllllllllly! Just hope it stays this way!!!!

Totally understand that @CShandy01. It might be you need to use FMU, but it also might be a genuine BFN. I hope that it's the former! Try to be kind to yourself xx

@CShandy01 sorry you're feeling upset 😢 but 11DPO, there is defo still time and if not, you have a plan for next month. Sometimes it's good to come off the googling and mumsnet as it can get too much so I totally get it but please please check in when you can! Sending you a massive hug xox

@newtolineofduty thank you hun!!!! No other symptoms apart from excruciating back pain! Like right in the middle of lower back. I don't usually get back pain with AF but apparently it's quite common in very early preg. Or I've got a tilted uterus, another cause apparently! No difference in CM, in fact my CM has been the same as all my other BFN cycles and no AF pains at all! I did think I had some twinges a few days ago though but nothing now. And I haven't had my usual pre AF spotting. Other than that I feel completely normal! Aside from the cold which is still lingering! And no I haven't told him yet!!!🤣 I've bought him something on Etsy which I pray arrives tomo. I'll do my second frer and make sure the line is darker and will tell him then, just in case!!!!!!! I'm defo in shock though, when I tell him it will make it real i think!

@newtolineofduty if I'm honest, I don't think it's sunk in! It's the anxious person in me! If the frer is darker tomo then I will believe it and tell him! It was his bday a couple of weeks ago so tomo I'll give him the gift thing saying it was a late bday present!
