My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

Ps: you'd think I would have straightened up that shower mat in the third pic 😂😂🙈 clearly I just step over it daily 😂

Wow ok 2nd time mums, can I join this? I’ve been feeling so solo on this journey. First month trying, went straight back on pills after daughter (22 months now). I have had insane cramps, back pain etc since ovulation. I’m dpo 8 and I’ve had headaches, insomnia, nausea, combined with cramping and my back is so sore. I never had pms on the pill or any time I’ve been off it. I legit felt my uterus swell when I ovulated, and I’m still peeing all the damn time. Is this normal? I’m so worried I emailed the dr today but no reply yet. As it’s my first month off I don’t know my cycle and when to expect AF which is annoying. My boobs also swole in the last day which could be af coming I guess. Testing negative but it’s very early. Also worried it could be something else.

Welcome @madeleine85 - sorry you’ve been feeling alone! It’s definitely a difficult journey on the outside when you don’t really want to talk to others about it.
Your symptoms after coming off the pill sound exactly like mine - but I would say now on month 3 they have significantly improved. I think it’s just your body regulating hormones. Sending hugs!

Just catching up on all of this. Huge congratulations @Hope18 💖💖💖 so pleased to see a BFP!! How are you feeling?? Did you do anything different this time around?

I'm currently 5dpo and this month we have cut out all testing; including OPK's and FRER's, AND I am no longer checking my cervix or CM since ovulation. So basically I'm ignoring everything until AF comes 😂😂😂 just used EWCM To see when ovulation happened, and tried to make DTD less timed. Fingers crossed it pays off!

Girls, I really don’t believe in symptom spotting as think most of it comes to nothing and are so similiar to AF symptoms. And each pregnancy is diff as I’ve learnt!!

BUT my boobs are insanely sore. Like take my bra off ouch nipple sore lol. My boobs always get a bit sore before AF, I must get crazy progesterone rising lol. But I’m only 7dpo so don’t think it can be anything relating to being pregnant 🤣🤣

@Indianna2006 that sounds promising, I know really sore boobs is definitely a symptom. I usually get sore boobs before AF but this month they are totally fine?!

@Chivari ugh 🙄🙄 well then month I got pregnant with DD my boobs were normal. Did nothing hence I thought I was pregnant.
But my first pregnancy they were super sore early on.

Sooo I don’t know what it means. Sore boobs is a pretty AF symptom for me..so prob means absolutely Jack crap 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

When is your AF due hun? Or what dpo are you? AF is due next Thursday or Friday for me. Feeeeeels ages

Our bodies are just weird aren’t they @Indianna2006 - my pregnancy with my dd I had 0 symptoms. I remember having tingly nipples in the middle of the cycle but put that down to just coming off the pill.
Don’t get too disheartened as you definitely could be pg! Not too long to wait now for you until TWW is over.
I am due next Tuesday. So only 3/4 days left of waiting. I think I am 7/8 dpo but I ovulated later this month for some reason

@Chivari and @Indianna2006 I’m the same time zone for AF. Guessing it will be a no (mainly to not be upset), but let’s see. I had no symptoms at all until wk 6-7 with dd so I’m reading too much into these ones now. She wasn’t planned and it came as a big surprise (we had been engaged 48 hours when I found out). But I’m hoping that we all get the BFP this time that sticks. Thanks so much for keeping me sane through this first 2ww. My husband is great but doesn’t get it, so it’s great to have ppl to compare/chat with. The whole forum here is so uplifting, it’s so nice to see everyone support each other ☺️

Honestly cheering you girls on for this cycle .. This was cycle two for us, and got BFP 3 days before AF due.. I had zero symptoms tbh.. Then around Wednesday I had tingly nipples! ( sorry tmi!) got BFP Wednesday but was v v v faint.
Today I got 2-3 weeks on CB digital 🥰 so I'll do another digital In a week or so to see if it increases to 3+
But so far this time I've had no implantation spotting where I had that last time with DD!
You honestly never know your out until AF arrives! Xx

@Hope18 congratulations!!!🎉 I think I had implantation cramps and the tiniest spot of pink IB last night (dpo 9). today feeling slightly crampy all over lower stomach and a little bloated. Did you get any other symptoms with your first with IB? With my daughter I had cramps which I thought were pms but no IB. Likely reading too much into this and AF is coming. I’d also given up on this completely last night and was having a glass of wine when I got the sudden cramps in my right hip on/off for a few hours followed by the IB tiny amount. Guessing only time will tell for me

@madeleine85 yeah I definitely think I've Had cramps and the odd sharper pain which has felt like on the inside of my fouf! ( sorry for the nickname) 🤣
General back ache.
A little bloating
And tender boobs.

With DD I had all of this plus implantation spotting for a few day's.

I always worry because when I MC before DD my back ache was so bad and symptoms were raging.. So now I over think if one symptom feels too strong etc!
Definatly going to book private scan to check implantation as when I MC at about 8 weeks they said it hadn't grown since around 3-4.😔Xx

Anyone else really wish the OPKs were pregnancy tests when that 2nd line appears? 😂 Think I am just entering my fertile period now although kinda don't want it to happen this month as will mean due date same as mine and DS birthdays but also don't want to lose a month trying so still going to DTD every other day for the next 10 days

@Hope18 thank you so much, this makes me feel way better! I’ll wait 4-5 days to see if AF comes/this is for real. I’ve had raging symptoms since ovulation but if implantation was yesterday then they’re all down to increased progesterone/the pill come down, which is insane. Maybe try to think that strong symptoms are your body’s way of recognizing what’s happening and also every pregnancy is different. Lots of ppl think morning sickness is a good sign etc. Hoping this one sticks for you 🤞
