My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@chanel05 sorry not at the same point as you, I'm awaiting AF due 23rd but due to cycle changes it could be as early as Wednesday.

@Hope18 I'm ok thanks for asking! Have to admit I've been reading the thread and not posting as things feel very uneventful here. I have 35 day cycles roughly so I'm not due to ovulate until next Monday. Not done any OPKs this cycle and sort of thinking that if it doesn't happen this month that's okay because I think it would cause a bit of a birthday clash if we caught? Not that that's a problem as such but if it doesn't happen this month not the end of the world if you see what I mean.

No one ever tells you how much waiting around is involved in TTC do they!?

Ahh I wish you all the best in fertile window. Totally get what you mean about clashes etc! Ofc be happy either way but sometimes would be more ideal if not lol!

3 dpo here and not really sure I believe in symptom spotting seeing as DD I had nothing. And it’s too early to have any symptoms anyway.

But I can’t stop bloodying eating 🤣🤣 starving today!

But it’s prob just me being greedy as 🙈🙈

@Hope18 Due AF on the 26th based on my app dates but if I ovulation was late then it was be two days after or so. Knew my cycle so well last time but all different this time so fingers crossed for the best

@Hope18 I'm ok thanks, thanks for asking! Took a pregnancy test the other day and it was negative so definitely a chemical pregnancy, but doing ok now, just waiting for the next fertile window! I have no idea when it will be so doing OPK's again to try and catch it! My Flo app says it'll be on Monday 26th so hoping its accurate!

@Indianna2006 not boring at all - I've genuinely learned so much from this thread! Just hate the part after period and before the fertile window just waiting around.

@Hope18 you're so right, my DH has a higher drive than I do and it is such a relief after O 😅 knowing it can be a bit more "natural" again and not to the clock.

Flo says ovulation is today whereas Premom says tomorrow. My OPK says 1.41 high, what number do people normally get as their peak? I'm guessing it differs for everyone!

@roro87 same here with knowing my cycle so well before and since DD it's changed..

@GreenFlipFlop aw, fingers crossed for lots of successful BD this window for you and a BFP end of cycle! Keep us updated..! I'm doing OK, awaiting AF.. After having a few cramps and sore boobs the other day I now feel totally normal so more than likley just the usual pms symptoms..
I have a flo app now and so far it's been pretty accurate! 😊 I also use ovia fertility app too..

@Hope18 Could be a good sign! Hoping this month will be your month!! Flo is great, It was bang on for my DS the first time we ttc! I had multiple apps too

@Maddie2802 really interested to know this too for future ref because I had the same last cycle. I used Premom last month and my peak read as 4.2 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Goodgoodthings I wonder if it varies from person to person. Do you use any apps like Flo too? Flo thinks I'm going to ovulate today but I don't think so looking at my OPK 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's stressing me out now 😂 I'll just DTD incase 😜

Also I can never get the lighting right to take pictures of my OPKs which I'm sure doesn't help!

@Maddie2802 yeah I found it hard to keep lighting consistent too as you can see 😅 I use Flo as well and it married up pretty well, also used the clear blue flashing smiley tests and they showed the same result basically. Was just relieved to see a positive tbh after weeks of tests!

Just felt really unsure of what to do so dtd as much as possible while the tests were positive. Didn't work though obviously haha.

@Maddie2802 also mine were the one step cheap ones off Amazon so sure there will be a difference in how strong the lines get for a positive!

Feeling quite disheartened tonight no reason for it just feel like it's going to take ages and have gotten inside my own head that we should have done more this month.

@Maddie2802 @Goodgoodthings I used Premom this month but my opks went from like 0.22 to like 1.41 and back to 0.50. So my lh obv jumps and surges really fast in a day. Other ppls can do it more slowly I think.

@roro87 feel you on the “it’s gonna take ages” thing.
I’m a bit fed up this cycle. Last month I distracted mysself in 2ww but finding this one harder to do as just desperately what it to be a positive already!!
Feeling like it’s gonna take ages and never happen as we agreed to only try for so long because of the age gap we will have.
Makes me sad.

Ugh I need a get a GRIP 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️ So hard though isn’t it each month just feels a bit crushing.

Hey everyone! Sorry I’ve been so quiet, been catching up on all the messages. It’s been a hectic week with illness as well as DD having nightmares and waking for hours each night. I’m exhausted! 😩
Thanks for asking @Hope18 @Indianna2006 - I’m doing ok. AF is due next Tuesday 26th so it’s just a waiting game now isn’t it. But not hopeful this month for obvious reasons. I have 0 symptoms at the moment!

Sorry you’re a bit fed up @Indianna2006 I know the feeling. It’s so difficult isn’t it! Definitely so normal to feel how you are feeling. When is AF due? (Sorry I’m sure you have said but I can’t find it in the thread)

@Indianna2006 I'd write a big message and it didn't post I tested today even though I know I shouldn't have and that it's too early latest is 8 dpo and now I'm imagining faint lines on it which is mad. We are only trying until end of Jan then stopping for a while because I've 10 birthdays and Christmas in November/December and my birthday last year I gave birth on so don't want that happening again

@Chivari oh no! Bless your poor DD. No fun when they start waking in the night again!
AF is due Thursday 28th or Friday 29th so gonna hold off until then to test is the plan. Not sure I have much hope tho tbh lol. But someone has to get a BFP. I’m sure of it!

@roro87 as yes all birthdays at once is less than ideal. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break though

@Goodgoodthings @Indianna2006 I use one step OPKs and Flo app as well as the premom app.

I don't think my peak was my peak 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't think I left it to dry enough, but it would make sense being my walk by what the apps say. I'll keep testing and see, DTD just incase 🤞🏻

Hey @Maddie2802 having used those pre mom strips I find it's usually worth leaving them a few minutes before the ink settles then hopefully your results will be as accurate as possible 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I'm still feeling nothing, on 12 DPO reckon my period will arrive tomorrow, I was a bit silly and caved and tested using an FRER on 10DPO but BFN but at least i dont havr any early resppnse ones left in the house so it should curb the temptation next month. These last two days have felt LONG!

Did you take a pic of test? You might not be imagining! Totally get what you mean about having too many bdays at once Nd attempting to prevent that..our month in our house is February 🙈 so many birthdays across families and friends!!

@Chivari sorry to hear about illness in your house! There's so much going around. 😔
I'd say nightmares began in our house about August time and now she has terrors which are very hard to watch but nothing you can do as she's asleep? This age bracket of 2 and half to 3 years is a tough one!
Ahhh well done you for staying strong for AF 26th!not too long to wait now!!

I don't in all honesty know when AF.. Latest point would be Saturday but earliest could have been today.. As my cycles range in dates..
