well i am up in the middle of the night . . . again

just want to say that i am praying, chanting, vibing (all non-denominational of course) that everything goes okay, miss jules.

xxx

sweetkitty · 01/12/2007 08:35

Went to bed early last night was totally whacked.

jules - how are you feeling today, I hope the bleeding has stopped

sfxmum - glad you could come and join us but sad you have to IYSWIM. I found that in the first few weeks of my mc this place held me together, I don't want to leave now even though I am pregnant again. Before I had my mc I had no idea the effect having one has on you not just the physical but the emotional as well. Theres still not a day goes past I don't think about it and I think I am "lucky" in only having one. What it does make you do is really appreciate what you do have. Take it easy xxx

lissie - waves hello x

merrylissiemas · 01/12/2007 08:37

morning SK totally understand being nervous x

jules, how are you my love?

littlewifey · 01/12/2007 09:03

Hi everyone, I am in the middle of MC at the moment and was directed here by twilightsurfer. Needed to talk to people who really understand what I feel!

Jules- I hope everything is ok this morning, sending you positive vibes

merrylissiemas · 01/12/2007 09:07

hello littlewifey im sorry you are here, but we will take care of you. x

mcchesers · 01/12/2007 09:36

Hey Jules - Hope things are better today. I'm on the non-denom "pew" with TJuice praying, chanting, and sending positive vibes your way.

IKWYM SK! Hard to keep positive, especially with this rubbish weather. I meant to say I'll be traveling east for work next week sort of bellshill area. I just keep saying everyday is a good day. My MIL wants to know names we've picked out and what kind of nappies we will use. I'm just thinking where I will buy jeans that fit once everything shows fine on my booking in scan. I told her I'd prefer not to think that far ahead. There are no guarantees in this game and sadly all the naivite that I once had is well gone. She said I would be complaining when it's keeping me up kicking me in the guts. I said I can't think of anything more welcome.

Littlewifey - Welcome..this group has been a serious lifeline for me. Feel free to say whatever is on your mind. We're most definitely here for you.

Morning Lissie! Anyone fancy a cub of herbal tea? I'm on a steady diet of toast, Irnbru , and Gaviscon.

ronshar · 01/12/2007 10:29

Morning it is sunny and beautiful here in sunny Sussex.

JULES excellent news about your little bean/miracle. Heparin will make you bleed like a stuck pig, excuse my expression. I once saw a lady will a small ulcer on her ankle knock it very gently on the side of a chair. She lost a huge amount of blood all across the floor. We had to very quickly get her back to bed! The moral of the tale is Heparin makes you bleed. It has to do with the clotting (boring).
ILTS Crickey how did that happen? Last I saw you were not sure/evaporation lines etc. Excellent news for you.
It is our first wedding anniversary tomorrow so we have managed to off load the DDs to anyone who will have them. Different places for both of them!! I am off to the hairdressers now.

And I havent tested..

To the girls who have just joined us welcome. Get your pants ready for outside of the trouser action.

sfxmum · 01/12/2007 10:55

morning all

SK - thanks am really pleased for you. the thing about the emotional side is that it can catch you at anytime, good to be aware, still stings but at least you recognise what it is.

Jules hang in there it is so distressing, any kind of bleeding really, B&J excellent therapy imo

littlewifey - hi am going through same now {hug} how far along did you find out? last time was truly awful had a missed one discovered at my 12wk scan. hope you are ok

this time I was 7wks am now worried am not bleeding enough

splishsplosh · 01/12/2007 11:07

Jules - hope you're OK this morning

Ellie - congrats on the scan, but feel a bit (ok, a lot) sad cos I was due a few days apart from you, and should have been 21 weeks tomorrow

Littlewifey and Sfxmum - sorry that you're going through this horrible time, but everyone here is v supportive

TJuice - did you live in Wallington too? I went to school in Sutton, and my best friend at school lived in Wallington. Glad you were able to have a reassuring scan too

Hi everyone else

Morning.
I've no idea of the weather yet as the sun's yet to rise but I will say it's D@#% cold. Have hired a sitter for DD tonight. She (dd) is almost 4 and this is only the second sitter she's ever had. I'm a little nervous. I'll be checking my cell phone the whole evening I'm sure. Haven't a clue what DH and I will do with our free time. He said dinner and a movie. I said pool/darts and drinks. I can see a movie at home anytime WE BETTER GO TO A BAR!!

AF may be just moments away. Have felt heavy and slightly crampy for 36 hours. If she arrived today that would be 31 days past the start of my bleeding (ultimately a normal cycle for me), 22 days past the "actual" mc, or 16 days past the rupture of that lovely ovarian cyst. But then you know there's the off chance the "night of comfort" left me with a little present...so I could just be 6DPO. Who knows.

Littlewifey pull up a chair and let it all out. Whatever you want this group is here for you. SFX same to you as well. So sad the reason but we're glad you're here.

TwilightSurfer · 01/12/2007 11:46

Welcome Kazbeth. You're in the right place. There's a good mix of ladies here. Some waiting for their bodies to return to normal. Some ttc. Some in the middle of MCing. Some pregnant and moving along nicely with their growing beans.

aquababe · 01/12/2007 11:53

Jules Fingers crossed for you it must be so frustrating just after you saw it was alright.

sfxmum littlewifey I'm really sorry you had to join us, hopefully you'll find some support here

ilts Congratulations!!! So happy for you

Tjuice soo know what your saying about chaffing starting to use baby wipes. glad your scan went well and you can have a bit of peace of mind

I've had a bit more brown blood so I'm taking that as a sign that whatever it was has slowed down. I liked the description of blood cells bursting thats what I'm focusing on now. Pains lessened, though I think I've solved my scan quandary.

I'm off to make/eat cakes now (just the fairy kind) then if there are any left I'm supposed to be bringing them round my friends. hmmm

kazbeth sorry you've had to join us as well I know the feeling of desperately wanting a baby (only had my bfp less than a week)

you don't always need a point to post just some where to let it out

littlewifey · 01/12/2007 13:24

Hi everyone, thanks for all your supportive comments. Sfxmum big hug to you too. I should have been 12 weeks this week but wasn't due my NHS scan until 10th Dec. Started having some discharge etc last sat and knew I didn't feel right. Went to hospital but they did nothing, just said I had water infection. Discharge got worse, so couldn't stand the wait anymore and we payed for a private scan on Wed night. Found out it was a mmc and baby had stopped growing at 5-6 weeks :-(
After some advice ladies- MC started properly yesterday, but am still having quite heavy bleeding (although not as bad today) does anyone know how much bleeding is classed as 'normal' and how long for? I'm petrified of hospitals and don't want anything else to go wrong!!

aquababe · 01/12/2007 13:28

'normal' is different for everyone, but I bleed very heavy for 3/4 days then light for 6/7 than got next period 20 days after.
I was told more than one pad an hour was a bit excess, but I might be wrong.

hope this helps

I remember feeling very helpless when it was all happening

littlewifey · 01/12/2007 13:33

Thanks aquababe. I think mine is definitely lighter than yesterday. Doc just scared me yesterday because he said that if heavy bleeding was continuous it means you would need emergency D&G but I wasn't sure how long he meant by 'continuous'! Should have asked really but think I was still in shock. It's horrible isn't it :-(
