What I thought to be AF turned out to be a bad case of theruns

Very nervous about it, but happy too. I actually went to the place(shopping centre) I got the positive with my dd for good luck
My dh thinks I'm mad but hey don't they all
now if I can just get past the nine week stage without going insane

ALBS glad your finally able to admit your pregnant

jules - thinking of you hon, and sending many strong and positive vibes to your little bean. My friend had a humungous bleed at start of her PG - really massive, and it turned out was a blood clot outside her uterus and nothing to do with baby. I have all my fingers and toes crossed and saying lots of prayers for you and your LO. I know you must be incredibly worried as I would be, but is good sign that yolk and everything in right place, and hopefully r&r will do the job of keeping it all there.

((((((hugs))))))) to you and Mr Jules

cricri · 30/11/2007 20:16

Keeping my fingers crossed and sending you positive vibes Jules. Hope you've got lots of Ben & Jerry's to keep you going whilst you rest up! Take it easy (((hugs)))

Wheelybug · 30/11/2007 20:28

Thinking of you Jules - fingers crossed it is just an effect of the internal scan. Am sure I have read this can happen. Thinking of you - take care.

TJuice · 30/11/2007 20:35

jules! very happy to hear everything looked good. you just take it easy, lady. if i could magic some B&J to you right now - you know i would.

i had a little more browniness this morning and decided that i couldn't take a weekend of wiping myself chapped again. (sorry TMI)so I went to my lovely, lovely gynae who scanned me and everything is A-okay, thanks goodness. got a little wave too.

then went straight off to work which is sooo busy right now. they asked me to work until 8pm (totally unheard of here in dk, where people knock off at about 3pm on a friday, even in advertising). and because i want my raise, i can't say "nooooooo! I can't work late, ever, because i am up the duff and therefore deserve to be at home in my trackie bottoms, chillin'!"but at least they sent me home in a cab with a bag full of wagamama takeaway.

okay, just because i DO have a kid right now . . .

Thinking of you jules, must have been awful to have such a good result followed so quickly by such a scary experience. Maybe the heparin means that what would otherwise have been a smallish bleed seems a lot bigger? Hope you get some more (good!) news soon, and that you manage to find some peace over the weekend. x

TJuice · 30/11/2007 20:37

by the way, the browniness (or pinkness) is apparently caused by the womb growing and some little blood vessels break during the process. also, changes in hormone levels can cause pink/brown discharge . . .

sweetkitty · 30/11/2007 21:45

jules - already said on the other thread but good news about the scan but what a scare for you, keeping everything crossed again everything settles back down, whats the next step for you?

Tjuice - glad your little bean is doing well, about working late but wagamama takeaway although couldn't probably eat it just now anyway

ILTS I didn't realise you had lost your last pregnancy (was it October) and I assumed you had moved on to the 'expecting' threads. So sorry but good news about your latest BFP.
