Your Dp sounds like a good cook Jules, could do with teaching my Dh a thing or too

alittlebitshy · 02/12/2007 20:23

oh yes - ronshar - when's the live testing ??

you ladies who've had bfps recently? are you running to the loo every few mins convinced something's gone wrong??????
I haven't got to my 2 danger points yet (5+2 and 5+5), so next week i'm going to be insane.

the bfps are getting bigger and quicker though. is that a good sign????? (i've never had them so clear, even the one on cd24 was clearer than the last 2 pgs)

splishsplosh · 02/12/2007 20:25

Jules
shows the power of big pants and lots of legs / arms / fingers crossing!
I so hope that things work out for you.
When I had my scan when I had my m/c, the lady scanning me did say you get women bleeding so much they are flooding the table, but things are still OK, so hopefully you're one of those.

Hope you're OK SK. Even before mc, any little thing can be worrying, after mc, it must be 10000x worse.

Tjuice, I went to Sutton High, one of the sister schools of yours.

I wish I had someone cooking me dinner. I've snacked on rubbish all day, plus some half baked b&j (not as good as cookie dough, or the toffee crunch I had the other day). I'm tempted to order pizza, but maybe I'll just rummage through the cupboards for some stodge. My dd puts me to shame, she was asking for rice cakes and blueberries when she came home from her grandma's today.

WHEELYbahhumBUG · 02/12/2007 20:48

Did the dress 'work' ALBS ?? Did you have a lovely time ?

alittlebitshy · 02/12/2007 20:59

The dress did work - but most of the time i wore a red pashmina over it which made me feel safe (and warm) lol!
It was a lovely wdding. rather posh venue and my friend looked beautiful!!!

sweetkitty · 02/12/2007 21:10

jules - most fantastic news and I am so at all the lovely food you are eating especially the B&J, if I fancy anything it's crap either that I am just eating anything to stop my tummy rumbling. I was doing the Tesco order and feeling sick at ordering the food.

ALBS - I think you do rest easy after your milestone dates when you lost your other ones. Once they have gone I'm sure it gets easier. When are you having a scan?

Wasn't even a spot of blood just a thin bit of string like a piece of red thread a cm long (showed it to DP as well) nothing since then and no pain so fingers crossed it was one of those weird things.

TwilightSurfer · 03/12/2007 01:17

Let's keep an eye out for Coolkat. She's over on the Due July 08 thread and just found out she's miscarried.

Wow Justjules nice numbers.

Low mild crampy pains here. Keep feeling like AF is a moment away...then the feeling disapears. To get my mind off AF watch I've been Christmas shopping and shopping and shopping. Date night last night turned into SHOPPING NIGHT. I've got to find a hobby!!! If I don't find a hobby I may have to find a Shopaholics Anynomous.

sfxmum · 03/12/2007 08:43

good morning all

fingers crossed all of you are holding on.

so sorry about coolkat was on that thread before hope she finds her way here.

I took this weekend to rest mourn and hopefully start recovering.DH has been doing everything and providing treats.
I have all weekends busy till Christmas so weekdays are the challenge, go out with dd keep things going, find time for exercise, etc.

aquababe · 03/12/2007 08:47

more bleeding over the sunday both red and brown, but have just passed a small bit of clotting.
Think it's probably all over now but have just made docs appointment

had quite bad pain last night. some was a little different to last time as it felt like it was in the top of my leg and made it feel almost numb.

dh thinks I should do the lottery afterall we have to be lucky somewhere.

oh god I can't believe this is happening.

jules sorry to hear you've had more bleeding too it's just crap.
sweetkitty fingers crossed for you too

goingfor3christmaspuddings · 03/12/2007 08:49

justjules I really hope everything works out for you. When I started bleeding the dr prescribed me cyclogest as it keeps the uterus relaxed, it sounds as if it would be ideal for you and worth asking about. When is your next scan?

sweetkitty · 03/12/2007 08:52

TS - shopping IS my hobby, since I have been grounded the past week all the Christmas plans have gone to pot so I now have a long catch up list to do was going to visit my friend and her newborn on Saturday but wasn't up to it so hopefully will squeeze a visit in before Christmas (she's over an hour away) got decorations up, need to finish cards and buying presents, got nearly everyones apart from DPs always leave him to last

sfxmum - glad you had a restful weekend it's what you need right now, I think physically thres some stages (there was for me) there was the end of the mc bleeding, then first AF after the mc, then it's back to ttc. Emotionally things don't quite go like that but although I still think of things every day it is getting easier now I'm pregnant again but I always think this baby is only here because it's brother or sister didn't make it, sorry am getting a bit depressing now, better go x

sfxmum · 03/12/2007 08:52

aquababe thinking of you, it all sounds so unfair, hope you get answers soon.

cricri · 03/12/2007 09:27

Aquababe Fingers crossed for you.

EllieG · 03/12/2007 09:37

Aquababe - (((((hugs))))) to you.

Thinking of you jules, great about your hcg levels - hope it keeps up xxx

HELLO to popsy! Have posted on the other thread too, but is SOOOO nice to hear from you. We've missed you lady x Congrats on new job, clever person.

coolkat · 03/12/2007 10:12

Hi Ladies

Thanks twilight for directing me here. My god how horrible is this, the waiting, the knowing but having nothing confirmed.

I was in hospital yest with bad stomach cramps and blood loss, lots of clot like things sorry - tmi

Doctor not scanned me as waiting blood results although its quite obvious its over.

Anyway I have never experienced this before. I was about 8 weeks and had really thickned around my middle and I certainly had not been over eating, if anything the opposite. How long til I stop bleeding and my body returns to normal?

Thanks Ladies, sorry to read about all your hard times although it seems there are a few happy ones as well.

EllieG · 03/12/2007 10:18

Hi coolkat - so sorry to hear about what happened.
I stopped bleeding quite quickly after my MC, but was missed on and had D&C so don't know if that makes a difference. Took it easy physically for a couple of weeks and then body was pretty much back to normal. Was a complete loon for much longer, but that takes more time.

Sorry to hear you are going through this. Was it your first pregnancy?
