Hi Ladies

Thought I would create a channel for July / August TTC for those who didn't receive their BFP's this time around

I'm on CD2 now after sadly AF arriving. TTC no1 at 32 and this will be Cycle 4

I'm currently isolating with Covid after having 1 jab (which really messed with cycle 2 and 3) expecting DH to test positive v soon!

So sorry if I miss anyone or if you haven't got your AF yet or had a BFP ! But wanted to capture a few people as I've found these channels super helpful!

@Kaycw I have no idea what most of the acronyms are 🙈. But we too are not telling family and friends so liek wise would be nice for people to tell to about it

@Sunshinelollypops8 My other half tries but doesn't understand any of it, he just believes he has one job and will do whats required when! lol I feel dirty hiding this secret from my bestie but I don't want the pressure from family and friends knowing!

It's not dirty sometimes you have to do what's best for your family and mental state and if that's not telling the family and friends then that's the best thing. It's always worse when you have people continuously asking are your pregnant yet or any luck etc

@Sunshinelollypops8 Very true, I'm not ready for stuff like that, we do get it sometimes from family as we have recently got married and apparently thats a question people feel appropriate to ask the minute your married but we've been married a few months and the questions are getting less so hopefully they are all bored of asking now.

@Sunshinelollypops8 I forgot to say I use Flo and Premom - Flo is pretty accurate for me - premom is still at the moment as my last period was 2 weeks late and my LH tests have all been low so i think its confused at the moment

Glad it's not just me going overboard on the apps. At the moment I've got Clue (has all my historic cycle data because I used it to track periods before TTC), Premom (for the OPK analysis), Clearblue (to link with my advanced OPK stick thing) and FF (most complete cycle analysis including BBT).

Think I'm going to start winding down though, I've been monitoring other signs for enough cycles now that I don't really need a flashing smiley face to tell me I'm in my fertile days.

FF moved my crosshairs this morning so I'm now 3DPO not 5DPO and my TWW's got 2 days longer . Anyone else 3DPO?

My FF app did exactly the same 2 days ago..😅 but in the meantime changed the score from good to high so I hope this is a good sign. Currently I'm on 5dpo (or 7 🤷🏻‍♀️) In the meantime I'm using Premom to track LH and Kindara for BBT and because of the community (and prettier than the others LOL) 😂 How are you feeling? Are you symptom spotting or just going with the flow?

AF due today, or yesterday. No show. So took a frer and it’s another bfn. Feeling really disheartened this month as I’d really hoped having time on holiday away from stress of work would help. Have just booked a GP appt as we’re approaching a year of ttc 😔

@WantStickyBean I spent about an hour last week (when I should have been working 😅) entering my historic data into a few other apps. God knows why!

@Dobcaty I'm 5DPO too! So far no symptom spotting. I have sore boobs but that's totally normal for me. They always hurt for over a week before af (which is quite annoying). Still plenty of time for some overanalysing!

@Lealu I know exactly how you feel! I've been ttc for 10 months but 12 cycles. The only reason we're not going to the doctors just yet is because we are getting married in December and august want to be able to enjoy the build up to it. It's so so tough but hopefully it'll just take a little more time xxx

@Lealu Nice to have a dpo buddy :) I use to have sore boobs but with the age they disappeared. We had 2 IUI since June this cycle would be the third but my LH surge was on the weekend and the clinic cancelled it so we really really tried lots of BD. I'm on Crinone this cycle as I'm always spotting between O and AF... so far no spotting 🤞how long you've been on TTC?

@Dobcaty no symptom spotting yet, I have had a couple of random cramps but sure it's just something I ate . Have learned not to trust the symptoms though, some months I've sworn I've had all of them and still AF arrives bang on time.

@Lealu sorry you had a BFN. I was wondering if you'd decided which vitamins to take? I'm just coming to the end of a batch of pregnacare and think I might try the wild nutrition ones next. DH has been taking the male fertility ones and seems quite impressed.

Anyone 7DPO? This is my first TWW and I’m struggling so much more than I expected with my impatience. Im just willing it to be Tuesday already!

@Dobcaty ah fingers crossed all the BD does the trick! This is our first month TTC but I'm 36 so hoping it works out soon 🤞

Anyone else seem to be surrounded by people who only need to think about getting pregnant to conceive 😩😩 day 1 of my TWW, gonna be a long one 🙃

@StayHopeful YES. Like there's no planning every detail with tests and apps etc

So according to Flo my ovulation way 15th but I had a small AF 14-16th. I did test after and it was a BFN but AF is meant to be 30th... now, do I test this next week or wait it out? I'm 7DPO today or is that way too early given we've gone everyday since 16th as we felt this month might have been a write off

@Babyboom1990 you’re definitely not out yet, 9dpo is still very early. Usually the pregnancy hormones take 12 days plus to rise sufficiently to be picked up on a test (or to be high enough to give you any symptoms). Could you test again with a frer the day that AF is due in order to get a more reliable answer? I know the waiting is torture 😬
I got my bfp at 14dpo last time.

@BingeOnChocolate hmm that is very confusing. If you are only 7dpo then that’s very unlikely to get picked up on a test, so personally I would wait because poas wouldn’t really confirm anything anyway for the next few days. Could you wait until the end of the week or the weekend? Personally I often try for testing on the weekend because then I’ve other nice things going on and people around in case it is not the news I’m hoping for.

@Lealu Honestly it's so confusing! I think I'm going to wait as you suggested as from reading, 7DPO is too early for most and that's without the additional bleeding this month like I've had

I was overwhelmed by all the vitamins advice. And have tried various combinations for the past year. So I went for a consultation in the end. So far I’ve added these plus my pregnacare multivitamins (and have upped the pregnacare to 2 a day).

There were other recommendations as well. Am gonna give this a few weeks before adding in further recommendations - it’s all getting rather expensive!

8 DPO and got brown discharge so I think AF will arrive tomorrow which is really early for me, shouldn’t have come until the 28/29th but the vaccine seems to have really messed with my cycle
