Hi Ladies

Thought I would create a channel for July / August TTC for those who didn't receive their BFP's this time around

I'm on CD2 now after sadly AF arriving. TTC no1 at 32 and this will be Cycle 4

I'm currently isolating with Covid after having 1 jab (which really messed with cycle 2 and 3) expecting DH to test positive v soon!

So sorry if I miss anyone or if you haven't got your AF yet or had a BFP ! But wanted to capture a few people as I've found these channels super helpful!

Is there room for one more? I'm 35 and DH and I are TTC for our first baby. This is our second month. We are very new with it all and hoping and praying it doesn't take too long. I am still learning the acronyms on here, so be gentle with me please x

@Celina94 ended up testing this morning, just couldn't shake the feeling despite knowing it's too early - still a week until I'm due. Of course, bfn - but it's out my system now. Will wait until next week 🤞🏻

Im around 5DPO and have been having the same symptoms! The discharge isn't something I normally have and I keep getting a weird pinching/cramping feeling in my belly right by my belly button+ lower down.

Yesterday I had a banging headache which would not go away.

Hopefully this is a good sign for us🤞🏻 Im not due my period until the end of the month so a bit of a wait! X

@EmL98 oh wow literally identical to my symptoms! The pinching is so different to usual, I've always read about it but couldn't imagine the feeling until I got it yesterday! It was like an Aha moment! My af isn't due u until the 28th so towards end of the month like yourself so still a long way to go (what it feels like aha!). Keep me updated!!! Fingers crossed for us 🤞🏽❤️ hope this is a good sign!!!

@Lucylaroo Welcome are you using ovulation sticks or just bd every few days?

@Celina94 @Lianna93 @EmL98 my symptoms have been similar had left side lower back pain since 2dpo, 3dpo was so moody fiancé and i argued over nothing (we rarely argue) and ended up crying after (poor guy didn't know what was wrong with me)

yesterday felt rotten bad headache all day and felt exhausted with abdominal and lower back pain been using hot water bottle for last 3 days, went straight to bed when got home, also last night when wiped noticed I had considerable amount of CM which was very creamy/watery, also due AF around 30th, hoping doesn't come early as get married 29th, well really i hope it doesn't arrive best wedding present ever, finally get our double rainbow.

Does anyone else struggle to be around people with kids right now?
All my siblings have children, the oldest being 16 & the youngest being a few months old.
Nobody except my partner & my bestfriend know I'm TTC - hubs tells me constantly not to get ahead of myself because he doesn't want me to get upset if it doesn't happen & bf is away on training for her job. so I feel quite isolated & I find being around my sisters & their kids is really difficult right now since this isn't happening for me & I have so many fears & worries about it not ever happening.
I love my my siblings & their kids but I find it really difficult right now 😞

@LeeTTCRainbow thanks for the welcome. I'm using ovulation sticks, but I also went overboard and have four cycle tracking apps. Trying to cover my bases

@Lianna93 all my friends have kids. DH and I are the only ones without. They always ask us when we will have kids as they know we've always wanted them and never felt ready. Now I am worried we've left it too late and when I see my friends kids it makes me kinda nervous we won't be able to get pregnant.

@Lucylaroo I went through a stage of constant panic attacks after I got married & bought a house last year because people kept asking me when I was gonna have kids. I keep responding with a non-committal 'if it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't' but I'm terrified that it won't happen.
Dh & I have been together since we were teenagers & we've always wanted to start a family but circumstances have never allowed for that, now we're finally in a place where we actually can start trying but everytime I asked, it knocks me.

@Lianna93 Yes and not just kids but all my friends are pregnant or just had babies, 2 weeks after my d&c at 13 weeks, my sister in-law announced she's pregnant and I've struggled so much with her pregnancy. even now when there's alot of baby talk i have to take myself away sometimes and usually have a little cry in the loos, every negative just hits harder too. been ttc for a year 2 losses down and doing my best not to lose hope. but its hard when so many people around you have their little families. xx

@Lucylaroo yes i think thats normal, i have about four which i update but usually only trust one properly as been spot on when AF is due every time. weird how the ttc journey just hits you one day like all you can think about is having a baby and little family.

Your be fine dont stress about it, my friend is 35 was worried left to late, fell on first try now has a gorgeous 3 month old, other friend 30 pcos has two beautiful girls one 4 weeks old, dont lose hope, it will happen. xx

@Lianna93 funny as i never understand why people ask when your having kids, as from my experience going through two losses its such a trigger and horrid thing to say, as how do they know you haven't been trying and been unsuccessful or going through ivf treatment, or had several miscarriages, or you dotn want kids which is ok too, it really angers me, my in laws used to ask us all the time, until we had to break the news (first time knew we were pregnant) after my 12 week scan that i had a mmc and had to have surgery at 13 weeks, that soon shut them up. but even now we get the pressure of oh you just need a boy now to carry on the family name, when im thinking i just need a healthy baby who cares what sex. sorry rant over. xxx

@Lealu check out Luisa Zissmans blog called Maybe Baby for info on vitamins, she seems to have had lots of success stories following it! I take folic acid and my husband takes olive tablets but that's about it.

@LeeTTCRainbow It's honestly awful this expectation that's put onto us - I still carry my miscarriage with me from over 10 years ago & I think about the child that would have been all the time. I carry so much fear & anxiety and it's a huge trigger when being asked or it's mentioned in passing or in a 'joke'
It's somewhat of a comfort knowing I'm not alone in this & there is the forum for me to discuss these anxieties with like minded people. Dh is super supportive but he just doesn't understand. My body literally aches to carry a child, it's felt like this for years & I'm so excited for this next chapter in my life.
Dh turns 30 next month & I so badly want that bfp so I can surprise him with it for his birthday 🤞🏻

Oh my goodness @Lianna93 I am totally there with you!! I had a mc 15yrs ago. I was only 20 and it was an unplanned pregnancy with my ex. Since then I've married the most amazing man and he would love to be a dad and honestly, I see him with my friends kids and my nephew and my heart breaks. He is amazing with them, never-ending energy! I have cried because I feel so ready for a baby now, a little family of my own, but I'm so scared too. We were meant to start TTC in January, but I was told not to, until 2mths after my second covid jab. The advice changed, so pregnant women can have the jab, but by the time they changed the advice, it had been 7mths and I had both my jabs. So I feel that's 7mths wasted. I'm 35 (and plenty people have said I can do it, but all I can think about is "what if I miscarry again? What if it's too late?" Sex ed didn't prepare me for this level of stress. We've only just started trying, but it's scary and the unknown and I are not friends.

Hey friends…quick question, does everyone get the implantation cramping and/or spotting? I’m not overly familiar with the process, so just wondered if it’s a given and if I should count myself out if I don’t experience either. Thanks!!

@Lucylaroo honestly so nice to speak with someone that just understands - my pregnancy was unplanned too & I was incredibly young & 100% not ready in anyway & now I'm finally at a stage in life where I'm so ready, emotionally & financially and it's taking too long 🙈😂

I've still got that dull ache at the moment & I really struggled to each lunch, every bite made me feel so sick. I'm finding I'm really thirsty too!
Still have a week until I'm due though - tempted to purchase an early detection test so I can test on Tuesday.

Hi everyone! I know I'm late but I wanted to join in too. I started ttc #1 back in March, had Chemical and then made it to 6 weeks in April. Had to take a break for a bit but trying again now. I'm currently 9 dpo and AF is due on 24th. I've been super gassy and had some digestion issue since 5dpo. I was having some full cramps on the left side of my uterus at 7dpo and today having a sharp pain that comes and goes behind my belly button that kind of shoots down my abdomen. Not sure if I'm just symptom spotting but I usually don't get AF cramps until the day before 🤷 trying to hold out to test as I didn't get a BFP until the day after AF was due last time.

I've been TTC since October last year so 10 months but 12 cycles. Some months have been way more relaxed than others with timing sex but definitely feeling worried. I'm 32 and TTC baby #1. I have regular cycles each month and always get a positive OPK when I use them. I'm not sure if it's just a matter of patience but I'm driving myself a bit crazy! I'm getting married in December so wanted to wait until after that to go to the doctors. I don't think I would be able to enjoy the wedding with tests and things surrounding it so I feel like waiting it out is the lesser of two evils!

Anyway, I've just popped on for support, kind words and any one who has any success stories to keep me feeling positive!
