Hi Ladies

Thought I would create a channel for July / August TTC for those who didn't receive their BFP's this time around

I'm on CD2 now after sadly AF arriving. TTC no1 at 32 and this will be Cycle 4

I'm currently isolating with Covid after having 1 jab (which really messed with cycle 2 and 3) expecting DH to test positive v soon!

So sorry if I miss anyone or if you haven't got your AF yet or had a BFP ! But wanted to capture a few people as I've found these channels super helpful!

First time using ovulation tests and now I am confused!

Predicted ovulation date is Tuesday 17th August (cd16)

Yesterday morning the 2nd line appeared but not as dark as the control line (the photo looks darker than it was). In the evening the 2nd line had gone very light.

Ovulation test today shows the 2nd line as a light line, do you think that cd12 was my peak and now I am ovulating? Or are the tests rubbish😂 we are thinking maybe we should keep dtd just incase? X

@EmL98 I don't think you've ovulated yet - I'd keep testing and DTD until your predicted ovulation date. That 0.55 was probably just a random blip.

@Capricorn8990 well done for getting through today.

I went to an extended family thing today, was asked by 4 different people when we were having a second baby

@EmL98 I am so bad with reading the line ones! I would keep going with them though and look out for changes in cervical mucus.

Thanks for updating on the fertilily @WantStickyBean, I was going to ask how it was going. It definitely sounds interesting!

I think I've figured out the opks, so thanks to those who gave me advice about when to test. I've been testing everyday at 3pm as that seems to give clearer results and think I'm ovulating maybe tomorrow or Tuesday as it's high but not quite peak, but I'll see what it looks like today!

Hi ladies just wanted to see what you thought. So ttc month 2. Have used cd advanced ovulation sticks. Thursday & Friday had a flashing smiley, Saturday & today static smiley. Had ovulation pains early Saturday morning. Dtd Wednesday & Thursday evening & last night and will again this evening. Do I have a chance? We didn't get to dtd Friday evening and now thinking that would have been the perfect day as static smiley the Saturday morning and ovulation pains! X

Hi @Aquarius1987 I think you have covered a good amount of times, remember sperm can live 3-5 days and hang around for an egg. By the sounds of it you may have ovulated later on Saturday and you dtd that night so personally I think you've got a good chance :) no harm and giving it another go tonight too the you've covered all basis. Fingers crossed for you x

@Twochews78 how you getting on? I’m cycle day 18 and got my static smiley today, seems Iv got my peak on cycle day 18 the last 3 months, as per I don’t think we have dtd on the right times, but going to try later and hopefully still be in with a chance!!xx

Hey, looking to see if I can join in. Month 7 of TTC and I'm now 9dpo! Feeling rotten the last few days. I'm also normally a 27 day cycle and I'm now 3 days late but I ovulated late this month so not sure when to test and see🤔

@Aims1991 what cycle day are you now? If you can wait until 14dpo xx

Can someone pls make sense of my situation. Im 15dpo im never late unless im pregnant. I have slight cramping but nothing like af. I have lower abdominal cramps. Ive tested st 12dpo last with a cheapie and it was negative i cant get hold of a frer where i am or a clearblue or anything decent for that matter. Any ideas?

Another flashing smiley for me today, I really hate waiting for the peak. I'm confused why I had spotting 12th 13th but still not peak 🤷🏾‍♀️

@MadamMaltesers are you sure when you ovulated? Have you been under any excessive stress or have your Covid jab this cycle?

I was due to be in ovulation tomorrow as per flo but for some reason, and the first time ever, I've had my period a week after my last one! so I guess I have to wait this out and go again!

So confused.
Period came a week late on 4th August and finished by 6th. Short and light.
Got ovulation symptoms on 9th August (ewcm, had this through to 12th)
Got some opks, 10th, 11tb &12th was negative, 13th vv faint line, 14th vv faint line, 15th (today) negative. We've been dtd every 2 days since 9th so hopefully we caught if I did ovulate but I was expecting a darker line today 🤷‍♀️

@positiveovernegative hey I'm CD 30, I never go this late. Surprised I peaked late too🤷🏻‍♀️really hoping for a BFP. My OH is convinced I'm pregnant because of how shit and weird cramps I've been having. Every time I eat I either get cramps or bloating/ heavy feeling lower stomach.

@positiveovernegative so just caved and took a test... obv was a BFN🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe too early or maybe AF is just late 🙄

@WantStickyBean I was thinking the same but I'm just not sure now. Both tests today have come up with one line only on the C!! The previous tests i did had a 2nd line which you could see.

Ill keep checking and see as my ovulation day is supposed to be Tuesday x

Hi girls, with ovulation sticks - I know they show positive when LH has surged, but do they stay that way right through ovulation until ovulation is over, or do they turn negative before ovulation?

I've had static smiley for over 48 hours now (using the pink CB sticks which you can keep using - not the purple advanced ones that you can't use once they turn positive for 48 hours). Not sure if this is normal as I'm sure from positive test to actual ovulation should be 12-48 hours? I could be totally wrong x

Got a BFP with a FRER yesterday at 10dpo, trying to keep a lid on getting excited as had an ectopic earlier this year. I was told I could ask for an early scan next time around so think I'll do that. I also have a cervical ectropion which means I spot quite heavily the week before my period, that has still happened this month but just hope it doesn't mean anything other than my cervix being annoying.
Feel a bit sad that this time round it's more worrying than exciting, fingers crossed it gets to the right place and sticks. Has anyone else been trying again after an ectopic.
Had loads of symptoms over the last week: sore throat and stuffy nose, fatigue, very sensitive sense of smell and very sore boobs. Used clear blue opks, sex every day from the flashing smiley onwards and during peak (4 days but didn't manage last day which was potentially the day of ovulation itself), as well as vit c, zinc, magnesium, fish oils, vit b6 plus a pregnancy supplement. Who knows if it did anything.

Hey! I had a BFN with First response today, 11-12 DPO. I've had so many symptoms this month, including IB, is there any hope?! 😢

I'm not too sure @Celina94 I use the purple CB sticks so the static stays on for 48 hours - I also do use easy at home cheap ones and I do always find I don't get my peak rise until the 2nd day of the static smiley face.

Congratulations @Celina94 that is lovely news! I can only imagine how nerve racking it is, when previously had an ectopic, I would deffo utilise the early scan just to put your mind at rest! I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy ❤️

Really is disheartening seeing that BFN, but you could very much be part of the people that don't get a BFP till later along! Fingers crossed x
