Hi Ladies

Thought I would create a channel for July / August TTC for those who didn't receive their BFP's this time around

I'm on CD2 now after sadly AF arriving. TTC no1 at 32 and this will be Cycle 4

I'm currently isolating with Covid after having 1 jab (which really messed with cycle 2 and 3) expecting DH to test positive v soon!

So sorry if I miss anyone or if you haven't got your AF yet or had a BFP ! But wanted to capture a few people as I've found these channels super helpful!

@Paintingfences lol 😂 I can off the pill end of October 2018 and didn’t get any period at all I just fell pregnant abd found out I was pregnant early jan 2019 had my son the following September best of luck xxx

@FinnsMammy oooh that is very exciting, fingers crossed for some good progression when you next test. How long do you think you’ll wait?

I’m due to ovulate this coming week. Am really hopeful for this month, with the acupuncture plus I’m on annual leave so none of the usual high stress of my nhs job- was in desperate need of a break. Hoping that my body will be more receptive to receiving a baby as I’m more relaxed.

Although the one problem is that doing the BD is going to be a bit tricky as we are away camping this week with friends, plus have our toddler in our tent not ideal! 🤣

@Coco9910 I’m with you…first cycle, 14dpo and just had a BFN this morning. AF due tomorrow (according to app), but we aren’t out this month until AF shows! Fingers crossed for you xx

Oh wow we are in very similar positions! I’ve really tried not to symptom spot but it’s impossible not to! I never normally get cramps until the day of AF but I’ve had them very very mild every day for the past week. So difficult not to analyse everything haha. Keeping my fingers crossed for you this month!! xx

@Coco9910 the first 7-8dpo I was having loads of ‘symptoms’. Nausea everyday but intermittent, headaches, extreme fatigue and uncomfortable feeling lower abdomen and back. I never had these symptoms unless on the first day of AF. But now they’ve disappeared. Only had my coil out in June, so maybe it was just my body getting back to normal. It’s so hard not to symptom spot isn’t it! Do you mind me asking your age?

Same, I was bloated for the first week and then I started with headaches, fatigue, weird dreams and my boobs were more vainy than normal. But I could experience this pre AF every month and I just haven’t realised as I wasn’t looking for it 😂 but the past few days I haven’t felt pregnant, not that I know what that feels like! I’m 30. What about you? ☺️

Well I'm out, no need to test, AF came this morning - at least she saved me the price of a test! I knew conceiving first month ttc at 33 was unlikely, but still had that hope!

At least my cycle day 01 started August 01 so will be easy to track this month For various reasons we won't be trying in September, so hope August is our lucky month.

@lealu thank you I’m up north visiting family and purposely only packed one cheap test as I’m a bit of a pee on stuck addict when this time comes round... il be home Monday eve / Tuesday morning so I’ll prob rest Tuesday morning at 11DPO now that I’ve seen the faintest line I have it in my head though ! 🙈🙈

@Willow1982 I’m sorry to hear af has arrived! I don’t think this is my month either, there’s so much going on this end too and sometimes I think adding another child to the mix might make things really hard, especially as we don’t have family around. I know I’m in a privileged position to say that as I’ve got two children and I’m very lucky. Just a bit worn out this end. I hope your af wasn’t too bad and you ate plenty of snacks! I don’t like this time of my cycle as the pms can be tough! xx

@MrsSG90 I had my coil taken out 8th June . A few days later I started to bleed for about 5 days medium flow I would say . I didn’t know whether to count it as CD1 but I did . Towards the end of my cycle I had over a week of AF type cramps& nausea I was shocked that I wasn’t pregnant it felt so similar ( this is my 3rd I am trying for ). My cycles Pre coil were 33 days and wouldn’t you know , CD33 boom period arrives. I was expecting the worst period but it was fine . I am CD18 now so should be ovulating today / tomorrow . I haven’t had any cramps yet so I think last month must have been my body adjusting after the coil. I guess the womb lining isn’t used to what happens . Or maybe those cramps related to ovulation . But hoping now this month works , it would be second cycle .
@Twochews78 I’ve two little ones already . We decided to stop contraception and see what happens , take it really natural - no OPK’s / tablets/ acupuncture etc . I’m pretty sure a third is going to complete us but as our girls are 4 and 2.5 it’s a big decision so I constantly doubt it and think how much easier it would be to stop at 2. But I still think I need to go with my heart not my head .

Ladies help me not to test. I'm 11DPO. Boobs are itching like mad, my temp's climbing. There was a road rally of lorries/tractors past the house last night that made me cry, and I'm now tearing up at the Olympics.

But I know that really I'm probably coming down with something, have PMT and could do with washing my bra . Just so scared of seeing another BFN.

@WantStickyBean don't do it! You're not guaranteed to get a BFP this early even if you are pregnant.
Or you could get a faint line, get your hopes up and then nothing.
This is the most important time in your cycle to be relaxed and doing a test whatever the outcome will only introduce more stress than ever onto you.
Stay strong hun, how many days til AF? Like 4/5?

@WantStickyBean well done for holding out and protecting yourself from the prospect of a non conclusive bfn. That’s a nice temp climb you have there. Of course it could also be climbing prior to a drop before AF- when’s AF due? If it’s 4 days or less to go, then could you do a frer with FMU Monday morning?

Hello everyone I am 1 Day DPO, after having a MMC in May, I've been following these pages for the last month or so..... in another 2ww now! I feel like I got the timing exactly right using CB OKP last week! Baby dust to all of us for August!

@mummytoolive so sorry you’ve had another chemical. That’s really tough. People say that you’re super fertile afterwards so maybe next cycle will be yours. Yes, as you say, at least you do know that you are able to get pregnant. Sending hugs 🤗

I’m 12/13dpo and AF is due tomorrow (but could be anywhere between tomorrow and Tuesday). It’s my first cycle TTC and I tested using FRER this morning and BFN. I know it’s unlikely to conceive on the first cycle but it still doesn’t make seeing the BFN any easier! But as they say, you’re not out until AF arrives but not holding out too much hope for this month so think I’ll be joining you all for August ttc

Hi @Coco9910 any update? Have you done anymore tests? I was also due Friday / yesterday and still not shown yet. Done a test Thursday and BFN I don't think I will test for a few days yet if AF doesn't arrive. Are your cycles normally regular? I'm normally 27/28 days but have been 30 once or twice, CD30 is today. Wishing you luck for this month x

Morning ladies, looks like I’m jumping on this bus too if I’m allowed. Currently I’m on 13/14 dpo natural 2nd IUI cycle (23 cycle of TTC, all tests came back with good results)…last month was a very strange O happened 5 days earlier, started spotting on 6dpo…called the clinic and they said that was not a good sign…and they were right. This month I decide I will go with my life, and taking easy while we’re still TTC and had the perfect timing, loads of EWCM, nice temp rise after O everything looked perfect. Had some symptoms but I think because I was spotting them. First 10 days in tww went easy, no stress, no anxiety, feeling good, day21 test confirmed ovulation etc…Then my head went crazy…my hopes are up and then yesterday I had a tiny little bit of dark yellow cm and obviously I felt very disheartened…today I woke up with the wet feeling but nothing when I wipe (sorry for tmi) I checked my cervix which is high up and had some very light pink cm on my finger (again sorry for tmi). I decided at the beginning of the cycle I won’t test, and I still didn’t. Reading so so much google I read, it can be ib and now I really want to test, but I can’t bear another bfn - never had bfp. I’m going to swim today as that always helps me relax and I want to buy the test and I don’t want to buy the test in the same time... so please help me with some advice what should I do… 🙈

13DPO (if Flo is correct) and negative on the boots testing strips so we go again..

I’m 9 DPO. Have had random nausea which I thought was from the folic acid but then I switched back to Seven Seas and I still have it. Mild pressure and low backache. Feeling of tiredness behind my eyes (if that makes sense) all day, even after a nap. Really vivid dreams. Having a hard time staying asleep.

I took a IC this morning, which wasn’t FMU as I went at 6am. I could see something faint within the time. I showed my husband and he said yes but it’s still too faint to show up on my phone. So I tweaked it. What do you think? Photo quality really gets messed up when you post things, so hopefully it’s clear!

Thanks, I’m really hopeful. Otherwise these symptoms will be for nothing? I feel horrible. 😂 so hopefully when I take a test Tuesday or Wednesday it’ll be a clearer positive (with FMU).

This was my 11 DPO IC which I took in the evening. I think I can see a line although I'm pretty sure I've got line eyes now 😂

I'm now 13DPO according to flo/Premom and I've decided not to do anymore tests unless AF doesn't show by Wednesday.

Hi,

No I told myself I wouldn’t test again until next weekend but I think AF is on its way as I’ve started spotting this morning! My cycles are regular but can vary between 30-33 days. I just had my second Covid jab this morning so I’m hoping it doesn’t affect my ovulation this month 😩🤞🏼 When are you going to test again? Good luck to you also! xx
