Yes AF also due 25th for me. I’m trying to hold out until that weekend to POAS, May end up doing an LH test during the week, if I cave, but I’ve only one proper test left so I’m not gonna waste that before the weekend! 🤣
How are you holding out?

@SkaterChick ha! Not ovulating but that made me laugh. Stick a bed sheet in the freezer and put that on the bed to cool down.

@Willow1982 how you getting on? AF arrived today, which I knew was coming so onto the next bus I go. xx

@SkaterChick - I am I thought I'd missed ovulation this month, but I had a second LH surge and a blazing positive this morning. Also struggling with the heat, it makes me super grumpy, which doesn't do much to promote a romantic mood for poor DH!

@SkaterChick this is my fertile week, not pleased about the hot weather lol. Cool shower before bed is the only way sex is going to happen.

Poor DH has been worrying about the impact of the high temperature on his sperm. Have suggested he cools his balls in the shower a couple of times a day .Think I might have under-estimated how much this is getting to him too.

I know someone on here mentioned having 2 LH surges. I got 8 days of “high” and then “peak” finally . For those who track BBT do you normally ovulate right when you get peak or 2 days after? I’m just so confused because AF still hasn’t showed up and based on CB OPK I’m 18dpo. I’ve poas since 12dpo and BFN on them all. Feels like I’m spending so much on tests but still no sign of AF. Could I have gotten an LH surge and not ovulated? I know that’s possible but I’d think I would have seen AF by now. Last LP was 13 days .

@Anonymouss864 you ovulate after the surge so your temp rises the day or two after. Did you have a peak earlier this cycle at all? Those LH strips can't tell difference between LH and HCG by the way (see attached I did at 16dpo which if I hadn't already tested for pregnancy before I'd have thought I was at an epic peak) so could you actually be pregnant?

I didn’t test earlier in the cycle, I waited until I had ewcm and then started testing with the digital OPKs. Which I had so many “high” days and then got peak on CD24. I’m currently CD42. I dtd all during the high and peak days and after the peak days. So I thought I definitely could be pg this cycle. But every stick has been stark white without a doubt BFN! I’ve also had very high stress this cycle so that may be a culprit but never had this happen before . Longest cycle I’ve had was 31 days.

@RosettaTheGardenFairy I haven't been having opks... I've been thinking about it but keep forgetting to get some and I'd probably forgot to use them 🤣

@WantStickyBean the stupid shower in our flat doesn't get cold 😭 it's coldest setting is hotter than I often want my showers. I hate it.

Managed to dtd as it felt cooler. It's not feeling twice as hot and I'm dying/melting.

I have never heard of the bed sheets in the freezer! That sounds ideal at the moment 🥵

How is everyone keeping? We moan for hot weather but when it's here we want it to rain!

I had my results from my blood tests during my period and they were normal which is good news. Just need to wait til Thursday to have my 21 day bloods 🤞🏼

@Countingchicks so I couldn't help myself and couldn't use one of the clearbkue tests for the monitor as I'm outside my testing window...took your LH test trick and thought I'd experiment 🙈 12dpo and it looks like a strong positive LH test, hoping this is a good sign as I def ovulated earlier this month confirmed with temps 🙊
What do you reckon? Il test again tomorrow morning with an actual test to see...

@Cherryblossom21 same boat here I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks on June 14. Currently on cd 11 of my first cycle post mc. Apparently we are super fertile now after mc so fingers crossed. Good luck to you! Sorry for your loss I know it’s heartbreaking xx💔

I am on a hen do on Saturday and there is a Prosecco cart and drinking games. I'll be 9 DPO.. do you think it's okay to drink? I'm a bridesmaid so don't want to be seen not to be celebrating but a bit worried xx

@Capricorn8990 I think you will be fine to have a few drinks, need to live your life and not get too bogged down. I was away for a weeks holidays just last week and had a few drinks most days 🙈

@Twinkles18 I drank this weekend too as it was meant to be her hen but we did a surprise birthday party for her partner. I will have a few and make them last!! Hopefully I'll feel merry from just a few. We cannot put our lives on hold like you say xx

Hey @Twochews78 sorry to hear AF came for you, save me a seat on the August bus, I just have a feeling we were too early on dtd this cycle, I think I’m 2dpo today, cycle day 21 so just on the long wait, looking like I quite regularly get my peak around cycle day 18 which I’d interesting to know now! Good luck for your fresh new cycle and enjoy the week or so now of not having to poas!!xx
