TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

I'm not too sure I'm afraid. I think there's a fertility issues board that might be more informative xx

Update on the FRER... it was negative. As was the cheapie I did with FMU. A bit baffled that I got a clear positive and now everything is negative but I guess I'll go again tomorrow as tomorrow is when my period is actually due...!

Yes but I just read through the reviews for these tests, and it looks like lots of people have experienced this!

Morning ladies, after v 3 faint tests, and one much less faint one this morning I decide to brave the clear blue digital where I couldn't convince myself of any lines And I'm so happy to say yes I am pregnant and FRER at 9 days DPO was right after all. 🤞 for a smooth pregnancy. Best of luck to everyone else still waiting to find out x

Thank you! @newtolineofduty and yes was DPO12 today, are you the same? I always find the digital one where it spells it out nerve wracking, I did with my first one as well! X

Also I just wanted to share in case this helps or anyone is interested but I had an hour reflexology at the start of my fertile window, I felt relaxed for the first time in ages and I just got a good feeling. I can honestly say I really do think this helped me conceive x

I'm pretty sure I'm out due to my temps. Period due Wednesday.

I don't feel so bad today though I felt quite low on Wednesday and Thursday. I find that around a week after ovulation I start to get upset as I convince myself it hasn't happened. A major come down after convincing myself it would happen. Then after a day or two I'm ok and by the time period comes I feel good again and ready to start again for a fresh new month. But those are a horrible couple of days. Does anyone else get like this? It's gets worse every month.

Think we'll try again this month then after that I think I need a break from all the OPKs and temping and SMEP.

@QueenLagertha yes I can totally relate to that! It's really hard! Maybe a month off and just do OPK rather than temping too or if your cycle is pretty regular just do it every couple of days and try and switch off abit? X

Yeah I think I will do just that @newtolineofduty. I've ordered some evening primrose oil to try for PMS. Though I read I need to stop taking it at the after ovulation so I'll need to know when I ovulate just in case. I don't know why I bother with the OPKs and temping anyway. I can usually tell when I'm ovulating anyway

What do you all make of this? I had another positive cheapie, but an obviously negative FRER. So I went and bought a totally different brand. Husband says he can't see a line, but I can... It doesn't show up well in a photo; am I seeing things?

Ooh that's interesting @LittleDoveLove as I was looking in to that! Yes I'm 12dpo and having lots of symptoms which I've been writing off as a virus until a few days ago when I got a strange funny instinct feeling that I'm pregnant. I thought I was out as I thought I felt period pains sat morning but they passed after I'd used the loo! I just have a really strong instinct it's very strange. I think I'm scared to test in case it's negative and if it was negative today I would struggle to accept it with there being a few days left so I'm going to hold out until weds eve! I don't really want to test on a morning before work! X

@MrsRosaline I can definitely see something! I was reading some terrible recent reviews of Frers last night so I'm now wondering what I should test with! X

Clearly pregnancy tests have reduced in quality in the last four years! 😂😂😂 x there's deffo something there! Try again in the morning x

I was just looking at reviews of the clear blue digital ones and they have plenty of negative reviews too! I think I'll need to do three different brands simultaneously! Xx
