Newbie looking for some support

Hi ladies,

I’ve been lurking for a few days, just seeing what the deal is, trying to work out some of the terminology used, mostly going to post but then getting scared and carry on lurking haha.

I don’t really have anyone I can talk about the TTC journey with in my real life as we aren’t telling anyone as it stands so I’m hoping maybe I can make a few friends here that I can obsess and stress out with 🤣

I’m currently CD 7 in my first cycle so tracking with OPKs every day right now so that I can get a clearer picture of my cycle each month.

I’m 30 and this will be our 1st,

If anyone has any advice/is in a similar position to me or just wants a natter I’d love to hear from you 😊

It sounds like a good sign @Dannii892! I’d still wait until the weekend if you can, especially if the level of (HCG?) doubles every 48 hours!

@HRP1990 yes I cant cave in now! Saturday I'll do it.. I was reading other threads and some people say that they fmu and the line didn't appear and but did on the smu.. you think it makes a difference? Me planning ahead 😂😂😂

@Dannii892 I don’t think it matters, I read on the NHS if a test is positive it’ll be positive at any time in the day, but everyone on here seems to swear by FMU?

I have just been catching up and reading these and crying with laughter at these name selections! Particularly fond of the cheese ones as I love cheese and whenever I get a BFP I will be sad to say adios to some cheeses!

🧙🏻‍♀️ appeared yesterday so I’m on CD2 sadly! However like you said we still get to enjoy all our food! 🍷🧀

@HRP1990 and I heard it in my head like Joey from friends lol! I am good thanks sorry to hear AF showed her face but fingers crossed and baby dust for the next cycle. I am currently CD25 so based on my static smiley on CD20 I assume 4/5 DPO. Not much to report been a bit sniffly, dull cramping down below, some creamy CM (sorry tmi) and the odd bit of fuzzy head. Although I feel quite bloated as well but that could be anything as I know it is too early for much to have happened if it has. Let's see what the rest of the wait has in store, AF due by 24th so we will see xx
