Newbie looking for some support

Hi ladies,

I’ve been lurking for a few days, just seeing what the deal is, trying to work out some of the terminology used, mostly going to post but then getting scared and carry on lurking haha.

I don’t really have anyone I can talk about the TTC journey with in my real life as we aren’t telling anyone as it stands so I’m hoping maybe I can make a few friends here that I can obsess and stress out with 🤣

I’m currently CD 7 in my first cycle so tracking with OPKs every day right now so that I can get a clearer picture of my cycle each month.

I’m 30 and this will be our 1st,

If anyone has any advice/is in a similar position to me or just wants a natter I’d love to hear from you 😊

Showed my OH the faint one step test and then we did the FRER together. Glad I had it on hand as the cheapie line was so faint!

Weirdly I still have cramps like AF is going to start. I wonder how long that is supposed to last for? It’s very disconcerting.

Shall we all make a pact @KayL1988, when we get our BFPs we will stick around and keep each other updated 😂🥰

@KayL1988 ah I guess that makes sense. I’ve been frantically googling and got stuck in an ectopic pregnancy rabbit hole, I prefer your explanation haha!

I’m a bit of a worrier. OH has already confiscated my phone once this morning to prevent my googling stuff that is going to stress me out haha.

@HRP1990 I guess everyone is different, but I’ve been quite nauseous for the last two weeks with dull cramping (like ovulation pains that never stopped). My nipples have also been horribly sore, to the point where I had to abandon wearing a bra. I had assumed that was to do with the heat though. Maybe not?

Your OH sounds like a good man, it’s easy to say but the more you look, the more negativity you will find and neither your nor your little human need that in your lives.

Still no AF for me but I'm banned from testing for a few weeks.
