Question question!!

I know I am being silly and probably reading into something that is probabyl no more than an upset tummy....BUT!

I am on CD23 and yesterday afternoon I was REALLY bloated and windy. I am again today, and was feeling really tired and slightly blluurrrghhhh this morning.

I got REALLY bloated the first week I was pregnant with my first, so it has got me thinking now!

Did any of the BFP graduates had this?

DungunGirl · 21/11/2007 10:01

digitalgirl...

A rise in temp is an indication that you have already ovulated and by the time your temps rise, the egg is no longer viable.

You need to get busy before the rise.

I have found from my BBT charts that I usually ovulate around day 19/20 as i get my temp spike on day 21.

Spink · 21/11/2007 10:08

digitalgirl - I think your egg must be lovely and very intelligent, not stupid and slow at all, damn this ttc for making our poor eggs sad and low in self confidence - GO EGGS YOU ARE GREAT AND WE LOVE YOU

Spink · 21/11/2007 10:10

sorry having one of those mornings ..
..DG, i have a feeling this is your month, you certainly deserve it to be xx

digitalgirl · 21/11/2007 10:14

thanks ladies
dungungirl (another DG) we've been bd'ing everyday (except yesterday) in the hope that i'm about to ov. have had all the fertile signs (including a positive opk on sunday) but no temp rise yet. was really hoping that it would have gone up today to indicate that I hatched yesterday so I could start on the 2ww. this is my first full cycle of charting so i'm not sure what to expect.

DungunGirl · 21/11/2007 10:28

Thanks SPink!

Hey hey Digi! Charting temps is actually really useful. I was using the clearblue fertility monitor but my LH levels aren't high enough to be detected by it ( grumble grumble ) so I started using BBT.

I feel like I am more in control...team it with monitoring your cervical fluid and cervix position and you really start to get a picture of what your body is up to!

I never knew until I charted for 3 months that I ovulated so late in my cycle... this is the first month I am hoping the information I have got from charting will pay off! Fingers crossed for all of us!

MsSparkler · 21/11/2007 10:56

I have just been reading this pregnacy sight and the bit where it says about the cramping is what i got and it could explain the odd one off bleed i said about earlier in this thread. It was light coloured, more pinky than red and it just happened once. I also have constipation which i had with dd and the pregnacy before that.

Waiting to see if i have a bleed this week and if not i will take a test. Fingers crossed.

MsSparkler · 21/11/2007 10:56

Site not sight!

kirstygem · 21/11/2007 13:47

Oh I am so mad at DH today. Am on CD16 and yesterday had loads EWCM but the last 2 nights DH said too tired for BDing and tonight he out at pub all night to watch football so its out again tonight. I said to him nicely at the weekend that would be ovulating this week so lots of BDing on the cards. He said great no problem with him. Did it on Sunday night but nothing since then. Let him off on Mon night as he assured me would be fine last night but then changed his mind.
Am I being an unreasonable cow over this? Its not like I was asking for hours of BDing just 10 minutes of his time. I really upset about this today as feel like we have just wasted another month and so no way will get BFP this year.
Sorry for the rant but cant talk about this in RL

Sweetiesandcakes · 21/11/2007 14:40

kirstygem - my DH also went through the whole i'm tired, I'm going out thing so i sat him down one night and asked him 'do you want a bloody baby or not because you have to have sex for it to happen'. Anyway i got the truth out of him and he said that he doesn't want to be a baby making machine as it felt to mechanical - like we were just going through the motions. So - I re-thought my game plan and now as far as i'm concerned we are still going through the motions but with me wearing sexy underwear - its got him fooled!!!

Mrsei25 · 21/11/2007 16:03

its a trend at the mo i think- the various DP/DH's falling asleep!! my DH has done just that for the past 2 nights and i am not a happy bunny i can tell you!! i think hes gettin me back for all of the tiredness related abstinance on my part over the past 2 years i think once a week is enough when you dont sleep for longer than two hours straight per night!!
i think hes feelin like a peice of meat at the mo so i might surprise him wit a nice prezzie (some sexy undies or a butchers apron perhaps...)
xx ei xx

glastochick · 21/11/2007 16:19

They are funny aren't they? Moaning that they're not getting enough then when the time comes and it's handed to them on a plate they complain. Mind you, I have been feeling a bit guilty lately for all the times in the past when i've been too tired, and wondering if he's feeling a bit used, but he's not complaining and keeps telling me that all this extra activity will have to continue

Excitable · 21/11/2007 17:13

Seduction works for my DH every time. But if I tell him I'm ovulating... no. Just doesn't work. You need lippy and undies and you need them, er, tomorrow, Kirstygem

hooray for starlight. First day back to world of work and she gets AF! You make sure it's a FINE wine and have posh shop bought choc pudding for dessert.

kirstygem · 21/11/2007 19:07

Fancy undies is wasted on him as just wants them off straight away and to be honest we kind of a lights out couple anyway (realising we sound so dull and boring!!!)
Really hoping still got EWCM tomorrow and have a last chance. Just want him to understand me and how much I want to be pregnant now

Yay for Starlight

I know it's a weird thing to say, but congrats on getting AF! Enjoy a nice drinky, you deserve it.

AF still missing here....

I know what you mean about the prices of CBFM. I bought one last night on Ebay for less that half of the shop price, so I'm quite pleased.

How was the first day back at work?

biglips · 21/11/2007 19:36

yippee starlight about your af at last returned!

Mrsei25 · 21/11/2007 20:14

yay starlight your AF has finally reared her head!! it must have been th poster campaign!!lol
things are goin ok here in ei's world!! my DD had her first 'proper' 'fight' today with a little girl in the childminders!! they both wanted to go into th front room and had a scrap over who was goin in first!! they pushed eachother over and had a cry!! soon kissed and made up tho!! the same little girl pulled her hair last week and she is positively bitter about it an tells everyone!! shes such a drama queen!! you would think she was about 6 nevermind 22months!!
anywho how is everyone today??
xx ei xx

teeheelaydee · 21/11/2007 20:31

Yay Starlight - what a great way to celebrate being back at work.

Grinningbee next me thinks. BTW very cute cat, can't believe he lets you put the hat on. Mine would have none of it.

Who knew men were so sensitive about feeling like pieces of meat ? Mine runs a mile as soon as I bring on the ov tests so I just don't tell him now. Obviously the rest of month he is happy to oblige !!

Hope you are all well - I've had a horrible day - not ttc or mc related just a pig of a day at work and can't even moan to DP as football on - probably for the best - should just close the book on it really.

However, my lovely lovely deputy has offered to work for me on Saturday to give me another weekend off - v/sweet of her, am v/grateful.

sweetkitty · 21/11/2007 20:41

starlight - congrats on AF arriving, have a good few days then time to concentrate ttc x

Glad to hear your AF finally made an appearance, Twighlight, although I'm to lose my non-AF buddy. Did you have any signs that it might appear before it came? I still have no signs at all, except being really tired, but that might be because I've been working longer days this week...

Kirstygem looks like you're just going to have to seduce him by smiling a lot and agreeing with everything he says instead! Practice your interested face for when he's telling you about the football - all's fair in love and ttc!
