hey everyone,

I think i have finally calmed down, although i am still very stunned...it was 11 very long cycles...

I am very very nervous as it has come up so early, but as i said earlier maybe i ovulated early...

The only symptoms i have had was a weird pulling sensation in my tummy...

I have a few af style cramps right in the middle of my lower tummy and very hungry!! xx

ScaryHairy · 03/12/2007 19:27

OMG - well done Sarah! Im so pleased for you. I remember the hunger well - I actually ended up taking up driving again (after 10 years) so I could go get breakfast on holiday 2 hours before DH surfaced!

Not such good news this end. I normally have a cycle of 36 days or so. This month I have been trying to do that "sperm meets egg" thing where you use OPKs every day from day 8. I was expecting to ovulate later this week - between Friday and Sunday but the flipping OPK is smiling at me as I type and I have tons of EWCM. This would be ok but DH is away with work until Thursday night and we didn't have sex since Thursday last week as I wasn't well. I can't bloody believe it... this one looks like being the shortest cycle I have had since I was 15! Why on earth does this have to be so complicated???

Bucky2007 · 03/12/2007 22:46

hic.... ok...so I am really bad as this is the egg day and I have been quaffing gin...hic... Well whats a girl to do, hairdressers, coffee, dress shopping, shoe shopping, wouldn't be the same without a G&T with the girls?? Besides, had to drown my sorrows as I did not find a dress. However, on to more important things...I leave you all unattended for ONE day and you all get what is going on??? Poor poppets. Bucky love you all...hic.

Apart from sarah wahay...congratulations. That is the best news

GG I had a lump in my throat and i don't think it was the gin reading your post. It will happen...bucky knows...it will. Good that you made that appointment though. Just be quite aggressive with them. Add a few months on and be very unchilled about the situation to make sure they do something.

DG Its early...there have been loads of bfns turned bfps lately...there is still hope.

Hi 07MTW where have you been??

Going to bed now as have a splitting headache already. They do big measures in the Sanderson hotel...

Bucky2007 · 03/12/2007 22:47

oh and Finn dog couldn't get a vet appointment till tomorrow. Apparently he is quite ill....

poppysocks · 04/12/2007 01:31

Coolkat - I hope you are ok. So sorry to hear how things have been over the weekend.

DG - Sorry to hear it was a BFN. Too early? Hope so!

GG - Well done on the Friday GP appointment. A serious achievement at this time of the year. Fate I'm sure!

sarahng - HOORAY!!!!! Congratulations!!!! So pleased to hear about your BFP

Sorry for my absence of the weekend. Today was the biggest day of my career so v. nervous over the weekend. Is this what explains the terrible stomach cramps on Sunday (7/8dpo)? Obviously hope I was taking work stress in my stride....

Too busy today to even think about potential PG signs, but I'm sitting here typing in my little black dress after a v. successful day (phew!) and now getting back to what is really important.

Who knows.... The signs seem to have been reasonably positive, but could so easily be explained by other things.

AF due on Sunday. I'm going away from DH on Friday for a week(and all of you!). We always said we'll do a test together this time.... Will I manage to hold out until almost a week late (if AF does???)? Hmmmm.

glastochick · 04/12/2007 08:45

Morning ladies

Well, bit the bullet so to speak and got myself a First Response test on the way home. Managed to resist taking it until this morning, and got a BFN

I should have known really. Oh well, here's to lots of BD'ing over Christmas week

sarahnh · 04/12/2007 09:29

good morning ladies,

hope you are all well this morning!! I am already feeling a bit sick??!! yuck!!

A couple of things, i was lying awake last night thinking of names for the new thread ( god im sad!) and what about the 2ww, 3ww, 4ww its doesn't matter we are in this together??

And the second thing is, i did another first response this am thinking it would be really strong and it was really faint... got a bit freaked so did another cb and it came up straight away... The first response i did yesterday was stronger in the afternoon than this am, so i am think although they say test with your first mw, maybe thats not true for all of us??

This happened to me last time with dd, i went through loads of test in the am and they didn't come up, tested later and they did??

Any, big babydust to you all **

Bucky It sounds like you had a day from heaven yesterday. I've been busy bd'ing but have been around. I'm officially on my 2ww now as got cd9 and am now cd13 so we should be due AF around the same time honorary cycle buddy?
Hope Finn gets on ok at the vets today.

Poppysocks Glad you had a successful day yesterday. There is no way I could hold out that long before testing if AF was a no show, I can't even wait until she's late I'm always using those 4 day early tests If you manage it I will be in awe of you

Sarah I'm so glad you are feeling sick because that is a good sign. Great name for the new thread shall we wait until we are up to about 990 msgs or do it now?

I'm only just starting out on my 2ww and obviously I have no symptoms but I'm already swaying from this could be my month to this isn't my month and trying to prepare for disappointment. If it hasn't happened this month it's certainly not from the lack of trying.

santasmissus · 04/12/2007 10:24

cd26 today, i think 12dpo, so am expecting af tomotrrow or thursday. don't feel like she's on her way although am expecting her, actually i feel very sick and it's not coz i'm hungry as i have just had 2 slices of toast really hope this is our month, not that hopeful if i'm honest, but hey, it will be easier to forget about ttc this month with all the festivites, won't it?

hidingbehindthesofa · 04/12/2007 10:28

hi all. great news sarahnh.
coolkat, how are you?
welcome hootie. nice to meet you.

bad news here i'm afraid. AF due this morning and arrived right on cue. wierd thing is, i know i wasn't imagining symptoms over the last 2 weeks - nausea, hunger, cramps and exhaustion - just how i felt with dd1.
but cramps last night felt like AF and this morning there she was. so i'm thinking maybe i had an egg take but not stay.
poss?

not feeling too bad today. looking forward to trying again this month and appreciating dd1 who is chatting to me as i type.
sorry not to have more encouraging news.

what the title of the new thread?

07mumstheword · 04/12/2007 10:38

Sorry hiding I've had 2 chemical pregnancies where they have taken and I've had BFP's but they haven't stuck. That's one of the reasons I always test early because Doctor said that if I have another she will send me for some tests. You are being very positive though and have lovely dd, as I do so keep reminding us it is possible.

digitalgirl · 04/12/2007 11:11

sorry af got you hiding but at least you have a lovely DD to chat to! xmas is so much fun when kiddies are involved. am pleased that we'll be having my little brothers over for boxing day (7.11 and 3.11).

and yes, hopefully festivities will keep us nice and busy.
we're having a xmas eve party for friends where my sister's promised to make cocktails.

so, am 15dpo today, CD38, AF symptoms have faded and temp has gone up a bit, this is not over!

may test Friday if AF hasn't ambushed me by then.

07mumstheword · 04/12/2007 11:38

Ooh DG the temp thing must be positive? and AF symptoms faded. I am so hoping your going to have your Christmas wish granted with a sparkling BFP.

Shazza2002 · 04/12/2007 11:43

Hello ladies.

Well I was about to say thank god it's Friday, but it's not is it, only Tuesday

DG So could that have been an implantation dip you had then??? Really rooting for you

MTW You remind me of a racehorse with your short cycles, you're nowhere to be seen then all of sudden come racing up from the rear to catch up with the rest When's the earliest you'll be testing?

Sorry about your BFN hiding

shreksmissus When the hell are you testing????????????? ????????????

Hi and babydust to everybody else

07mumstheword · 04/12/2007 11:48

Shazza LOL at being compared to a race horse! With my lovely maine and fast feet I'll catch you up soon

Shazza2002 · 04/12/2007 11:49

MTW Well as long as it's just you coming up from the rear and not DP I'm still interested as to why you had to remind him where to end up, only cause I had the same thing with DP one evening The things us ladies do

07mumstheword · 04/12/2007 11:50

Oops sorry forgot to say, I think I'm due AF Tues 18th so will probably test the weekend before, blimey that seems like ages away. will I crack before? I expect so.

07mumstheword · 04/12/2007 11:55

Now that would be telling shazza but I'm slightly ashamed to say it was in his hand! I was helping but he got carried away The things I tell you lot eeh!

Shazza2002 · 04/12/2007 12:09

Ha Ha mtw That is funny. Only cause we did the exact same thing . But hey if it was that time that did the trick I don't care

18th, if you OV on say 1st CD10, that's like 17 DPO isn't it, or am I now useless at maths like everything else at the moment

santasmissus · 04/12/2007 13:14

pmsl at shazza's impatientce on my behalf. i told you i am really trying to hold out til next monday 10th dec cd31 so, if i am strong enough, af will be well and truly late, i'm expecting her tomorrow or thursday anyway, but after me, dh and clearblue you lot will be the first to know!!

that sounds very exciting dg!! really rooting for some good news in the digital house.

hope you're all well. will be logging in again later.

Shazza2002 · 04/12/2007 13:30

Sorry shreksmissus I consider myself well and truely told off

digitalgirl · 04/12/2007 13:58

this week is going sooooooo slowly. argh. when is it friday?

sarahnh · 04/12/2007 14:49

ohhh i think things are starting to hot up hear!!!

DG thats sounds very promising!!!

MTW and SantaM, i was going to hold out for testing and i only lasted til 11dpo ( well i think).. i had it in my head not to test til i was really late, but something as silly as buying cream that you cannnot use if you are pregnant meant i had to take one and.. well you know the rest...

Shazza i have not graduated onto the august club yet.. i am too nervous tbh, so i am going to lurk her for another couple of days before i post ( feel like i'm way to early in the game and don't want to jinx myself!) xxxx
