Sarah I had a 26 dayer last month and am on CD30 now. The month before the 26 day month was 32 I think...so not extremes of long and short but yes, I've had varying.

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 10:00

Hi mtw I think you are doing well, could get a pretty accurate result tomorrow. Are you using CB?

Well I have some of these tests that say 10dpo which I think would be around CD29/CD30 so Sunday/Monday. Maybe I'll wait until then.

If I go by last months cycle which was 39 days that's just way too long.

sarahn Cycle last month 39 days. This month had peak on CD18/CD19 so guessing I OV around CD20. So don't think I will have another 39 day cycle else that would make my lutael phase 19 days. I would say go by the EWCM and get BDing

cbcb Just saw your post about testing too. You are doing great, so will you hold out until CD30?

sarahnh · 19/11/2007 10:15

cbcb, cycles have varied from 29/30 to 27 to 36!!!! i am just amazed that i am having all these symptoms so early!!!! got a horribel sicky feeling at the back of my throat aswell, very spooky!!!

OP posts:
Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 10:48

sarahn I think the problem with symptoms is when TTC you notice every little twinge and pain, but then I don't think you can imagine EWCM I would definitely take it as a green light

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 10:56

Bucky It sounds so good for you. Was it Pigleychez that felt faint in the gym and got a BFP a day or so later? CD30 how exciting! I understand about getting a BFN though and still holding onto hope if you don't test. However if sods law doesn't work today (no provisions for AF) & TEW doesn't show & you get your dizzy spell it's all looking good!

Shazza Confession time! I have become obsessed with buying PG tests! I've got 3 first response, 3 cheap e-bay ones and 4 CBD in the cupboard. I will probably start with a first response and if I get the remotest sign of a second line I will use a CBD!

Hi Sarah was only thinking of you earlier. Sorry to hear your body is confusing you just BD as much as possible to cover all bases!

digitalgirl · 19/11/2007 11:03

morning ladies,
no bd'ing last night coz we did had a lie-in in on sunday morning and took care of business already . will be on the case tonight, tho! have acupuncture today so hopefully that'll jolly the egg along nicely.

even lower temp for me this morning, which could be the ov-dip. ooo, I hope so!

gg hope you survive the day from hell. you do realise that at this rate we'll be testing buddies!

bucky I really hope that this is your time!!!

cbcb well done for resisting, it'll make that BFP stronger on weds.

big waves to cycle buddies shazza & mtw and fellow ov-spotter sarah pixie where are you?

digitalgirl · 19/11/2007 11:04

oops, rubbish grammar, am typing with one hand

digitalgirl · 19/11/2007 11:07

me again

GG don't test opks with fmu, as LH doesn't start to build up till early afternoon. try holding wee for three hours during day and testing then. I got my smiley face at 7:30 last night.

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 11:16

Wow I never knew that about OPK testing DG I did mine FMU and got so it must have built up the day before? I'll certainly remember that for next month. (if I need to)

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 11:22

Yes, I agree with dg when I got my using OPKs it was in the afternoon. Didn't get one in the mornings....

Well done CBCB for your iron resolve .

Hope they are not working you too hard GG. 07MTW right there with you on the obsession with buying HPTs! I referred to them as being like the keyring collection I had as a kid, some time ago. However, I now can't find most of them now. I had some of them in my bedroom, can't remember whether it was before or after I was burgled...but I can't find any of them now except 4 Boots ones which we know are rubbish from everyone elses experiences. I had LOADS, CBDs and everything....I think I had them in a box and maybe it got picked up in a hurry by the burglars . They will have a bit of a surprise LOL . Either that or I will buy more and then find them all and have even more...

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 11:51

bucky Those damn burglars how could the take your precious stash of tests and I thought eating your chocolate was bad!

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 12:54

Not looking good here...bit of spotting but no full on AF yet. I just kind of knew that it was not going to be good news this month. Sure she will turn up en masse soon. I am starting to think this will never happen. Sorry, to those of you who are even further down the line than me...but cycle 7 is depressing . I don't think the spotting would be implantation this late, so am psyching myself up for her imminent arrival.

fingers crossed for you Bucky - thinking of you. It's horrible, I know. This will be cycle 11 for me, and I think if nothing happens this time, i will be utterly demoralised.

cbcb - Somerset House Ice Rink is open this year. I am going for a work night out there on 27th of November to wobble around, totter and fall on my bum, no doubt. Skating is not really my forte, but it's a lovely place to spend a winter evening and indulge in some mulled wine. I'd recommend the Natural History Museum rink too for atmosphere if you are coming to London, although on a Saturday it is utterly mobbed with children. Not that I am against the little blighters (don't suppose I'd be here if I was !!!), but lots of wobbly seven year olds and extra bold 11 year olds racing past is a little disconcerting and not much fun if you aren't a proficient skater.

DG - thanks loads for the tip on the timing of the OPK testing. I have a few more OPK's in the house, so will test later today too and wait until mid afternoon from now on. DH and I are BD-ing every day at the moment, so this month it is not so much about timing our BD-ing, but more about knowing what day I ovulate on (or even checking that I definitely OV at all) and pinpointing it for future reference.

AND DG we may be testing buddies. Th esuspense will kill me as always! But I am going to be BuckY this month asnd resist testing (if it comes to that) until CD32. I jinxed myself last month by getting my hopes up too high

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 13:26

bucky Sorry bucky. Don't feel bad, cycle 7 is a long time. I'm only on cycle 2 and I know if I'm not PG this month I will be annoyed.

I think sometimes when you've already got DC you think well I've done it before, why can't I do it again !!

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 13:45

Oh Bucky I'm gutted for you if it really is TEW settling in. I'm cycle 7 this month and it does get more and more disappointing. It will happen.

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 13:59

Thanks everyone for being kind to me Have decided to attack this month with military precision. Its official i am project managing this conception and WILL not be beaten. I am publishing my ten commandments:

  1. start temping
  2. use OPKs as well,
  3. drink grapefruit juice to increase CM
  4. cut out coffee
  5. take folic acid religiously
  6. attempt cervical pursuits
  7. BD from CD8 to CD28 at least every other day
  8. make dp eat brazil nuts
  9. look into reflexology or acupuncture
10. have a fit and blame DPs swimmers if none of this bl**dy works

Right...now I just need that dratted AF to turn up [Bucky drums her fingers impatiently]

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 14:17

bucky

This month I have done 2,3,4,5 & 7

And will most definitely be doing No 10 if I'm not PG.

It's just frustrating this whole TTC lark, it's like you have all the right ingredients but it still doesn't work

digitalgirl · 19/11/2007 14:44

v. good list bucky we should all memorise it and recite.

i love temp charting. it has given me so much more confidence this cycle to not think I've ov'ed earlier than usual. will hopefully minimise confusion and frustration towards the end of the cycle.

I've done number 10 already and I'm only on Cycle 3! Might even have done number 10 in cycle 1. Poor DH.

I haven't had any spotting, just some bleeding discovered by DH in the act. Does that count as spotting?

Three BFPs are telling me that I'm probably not pregnant.

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 15:21

Excitable - 3 BFP's, do you mean BFN?
