Well, scared to test...don't want a BFN . No AF yet, but won't officially be late until CD34 which is later than any AF I have had ever. That's five more days though so TEW will probably pounce on me before then. I had a bit of metal mouth this morning but it may have been dehydration. Didn't get really drunk last night although I did have 3 brandy and diet cokes!

Still quite weirdly don't have any symptoms, unless you count...i sometimes get psoriasis on my scalp (sorry...gross I know) which has flared up and I cried watching the Dog Whisperer this evening (it was sad honest!!!) but that's all the symptoms I can muster up. By now I usually have retained an ocean of fluid, have dolly parton (.)(.)s and have a bit of cramping happening...but nothing at the moment . It's spooking me now to be honest, but I am sure I am just thinking about it too much and she will just sneak up and surprise me.

The weather is disgusting. My house now gets wrecked when it rains as Finn gets filthy and has to be towelled down before he shakes all over the furniture. My timing is not always too good .

digitalgirl · 18/11/2007 20:04

bucky well done for holding out. do you think you'll make it to CD34?

well, despite me not trusting opk's. i just went and did one as i have a stack of them bought last cycle. got a smiley ! I also have had lots more ov symptoms today. windy nips, cramps, ewcm this morning and watery cm this evening. getting good at recognising it now. so hopefully I'll ov tomorrow and get my temp rise on tuesday - the 2ww beckons!

abbymeg · 18/11/2007 20:10

Bucky - if you're getting unusual PMS symptoms, that's probably hopeful. If it's different to normal, then it's promising. I'm hoping for you!

Unlike everyone else, I'm counting the days wanting AF out of the way so that I can start trying. It'll be the third official attempt, and we're both quite happy about it, which is nice, as it always felt like me forcing dh's hand before. I'm really hoping it doesn't take ages, as the recent three months of failure really wore me out! I am tremendously impatient and have no staying power.

SOOO - has anyone got any fabulous pre-ttc tips that I can put into practise to start to prepare for the onslaught? So far I'm doing the prenatal vits and omega 3 & 6 oil. I'm also off caffine.

I could still doing with losing seven pounds to get back into the healthy weight range for my height, but I've lost 12 so far so I'm hoping to get the rest off by Christmas.

It's lovely to be back on here (although I'm kind of cheating since I'm not a symptom spotter - YET!)

abbymeg · 18/11/2007 20:15

[waves to digitalgirl]

Bizzarely, since I stopped trying to conceive I've started to get ewcm mid-month again. I'm starting to suspect my failed attempts were because I wasn't ovulating. I was getting cramps, but no ewcm. I'm even suspecting that - despite a year and a half since the EVIL DEPO - that I might have only just got my proper cycle back.

Shreksmissus - windy nips are when your boobs get sore from being outside in the cold! I was in Bridlington when I was pg with dd and realised because I had windy nips! At least I think that's what dg means? Might be wrong? It's been a while since I was using the words!!!!

shreksmissus abbeymeg is right, windy nips is what happens when you notice how much more sensitive your nips are when you're cold (especially after a blast of icy cold wind)
lol at farty nips! i guess that would be when you notice how sensitive they are when you fart

abbeymeg glad you're back on the ttc game! I drink grapefruit juice (for CM) and try to eat lots of greens. DH is on the brazil nuts to keep his little fellas in tiptop condition. I've also cut out caffeine and have developed an unhealthy obsession for hot chocolate.

bucky don't forget to keep an eye out for ov-symptoms, just in case you're having a long cycle. I ov'ed at cd35 last cycle but was too ill/confused to bd enough.

hope everyone's had a good weekend!

ScaryHairy · 18/11/2007 20:45

Haha! Thanks for reminding me DG - DH is off to work this week with a little bag of brazil nuts in his suitcase! Maybe some pumpkin seeds too for good measure, and lots of loose fitting pants!

abbymeg · 18/11/2007 20:51

DG - it's really bizarre that you said about grapefruit juice - this was the first month I've noticed ewcm in ages, and I'd been drinking grapefruit juice as someone told me it helps you to lose weight. So, there's obviously some truth in it.

There is absolutely no chance I'm pg, but would like to claim clumsiness as a phantom, sympathy symtom. I've just walked into the bathroom door and I think I'm going to have a bruise now right next to my eye. DH is not impressed - he thinks people will assume he's roughing me up!

pmsl at windy nips. So glad Shrek asked saved me the

Bucky I have so got my fingers crossed for you this month.

DG Yeeeaaaah an eggs on its way! Action stations!

Hi abbeymeg Hope TEW packs her bags soon so you can really start again.

As for me I'm holding on by the skin of my teeth for test time. I'm too impatient to wait for TEW so will probably be testing Tuesday although I'm due Fri. I also need to test asap because if I get a third BFP/ then loose it chemical pregnancy then the doctor will send me for tests.

abbymeg · 18/11/2007 21:12

Mums - have you already had 2 chemical pregnancies? Sorry - have missed lots. I think I had one back in August. It's awful; I hope you get a bfp and that everything is settled and well for you

digitalgirl · 18/11/2007 21:15

mtw fingers crossed for you, will be checking in tuesday morning for results.

starlight ever had cycles this long before? i truly feel for you, it is so frustrating. Have you had any AF symptoms? saw on the other thread that you think maybe you ov'ed late and had a sneaky quickie. here's hoping that was the one!

07mumstheword · 18/11/2007 21:20

Abbymeg Yes I've had two chemical pregnancies since May so I'm extremely lucky to fall PG but they haven't been sticky ones. On the one hand I'm glad (if thats the right word to use) I lost them early as mc later on sounds more heartbreaking but on the other hand I was still gutted. Anyway onwards and upwards, doctor told me it was just extremely bad luck but if it should happen a 3rd time she will send me for some simple tests. Lets just hope it's third time luck for me!

DG Will post results as soon as I can Tuesday. Of course if its a BFN I will convince myself it was just too early!

Ooh look at all the action on here tonight

Abby its so nice that you are back. I missed you. I even added you to my Pixie story last week....

Hi dg glad you are hatching...hope the spaceship sees some action tonight.

Bucky waves to 07MTW keeping my fingers crossed for you for Tuesday. Maybe I will test with you if I make it till then. Knickerwatch has begun .

Hi to Coolcat & Excitable and all the rest of the gang.

Where's Pixie?? She didn't say she was going anywhere did she? Maybe she is off cleaning houses for milk again .

GryffinGirl · 19/11/2007 08:53

Morning all - I have the day from hell ahead, so probably won;t post much, but will look in on you all.

Hi Abbeymeg and welcome back!

Bucky are you going to test today?

i am CD 12 today and DH is under strict orders to come home early from work this week, not to drink too much and keep me company . This is the first month I have used the OPK's because I have fairly set 28 day cycles and always got EWCM, but after 11 tries at this TTC lark, I figured there had to be something else. Still no line where there should be one, but DH was really sweet this morning - when the alarm went off at 6.30am, he rolled over gave me a hug and muttered sleepily "remember to test with your first wee of the day, pet". I was quite touched he remembered .

PMSL that the windy nips are back!

hello to shreksmissus, DG, pixie, excitable, 07MTW, shazza Starlight* - any news of the lost AF?

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 09:08

Morning GG How sweet of your DH My DH asked last night when AF due I told him and he said oh it seems ages ago! He's right this feels like the longest 2ww ever! Hope your day turns out better than you anticipate!

Shazza2002 · 19/11/2007 09:11

Morning All

Yay for DG smiley face, and I bet you smiled right back didn't you????? So would be shorter cycle than last month. I'm so pleased for you. Get BDing girl!!

Hi cycle buddy mtw , fingers crossed for Tuesday, but like you say if it's negative it will just be beacuse it's too early

Hi to eveybody else, so many to mention, but thinking of you all .

Good morning Shazza Are you going to be able to wait that long to test?

Well done cbcb You are showing fantastic restraint!

I've still got no symptoms, still obsessing and resisted testing today again as pointless. At least if I wait until tomorrow I'm in with a fighting chance of a correct result. I'm scared of getting a BFN but I've waited long enough! I'll be 14 dpo tomorrow and four days before AF due.

sarahnh · 19/11/2007 09:46

good morning everyone, things are definitely starting to hot up in the 2ww!!!

Well i think i am having the weirdest cycle ever.. i'm only on cd10 but already have had loads of ewcm and cm, definitely have the windy nips but now they are alot darker than they were a few days ago and my boobies definitely feel bigger!!! My last two cycles were 36 days so i don't know how the hell i can wait to test til then!!! Has anyone had really long cycles followed by really short ones???????

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 09:57

CD30 here! Scary times now...knickerwatching like a woman possessed. Felt faint on the train this morning, but that could have been because I didn't have any breakfast and it was hot and stuffy and I had to stand . Still absolutely no AF signs . As I am ill prepared if she does turn up, as I forgot to put 'supplies' in my handbag today, sod's law says she will arrive no doubt !!

I have however, developed a phobia of testing. I REALLY don't want a BFN. Not that not testing will make any difference, if its a BFN its BFN, but whilst you don't see it there is at least still hope.
