excitable - do you mean BFN?? CBCB - skating and mulled wine is nice for a works night out, until you end up going ase over tt in front of your boss like I did two years ago and had a bruise the size of my hand on my bum . They are usually good fun nights out and with all the lights and the big tree at Somerset House, it is a little like a Victorian Christmas card. Oh and you can book the tickets on line, because it gets really booked up if you just turn up. I can also recommend a very lovely creaky old pub called Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese nearby for log fires, cheap ale and that continuing Dickensian feel.

Bucky - love the list. I may have to start temping, if this doesn't get better. I think my confusion lies in the fact my cycles always been regular as clockwork, had plenty EWCM and nothing seems to be amiss at all. Are you the same? I am 32, so not ancient

hello to everyone else. Where is pixie today?

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 16:09

CBCB I don't usually have spotting although I remember a couple of months ago i had some that made me think it was implantation. Won't be making that mistake again. Felt super silly .

Excitable do you mean BFNs? Otherwise you are pg no???

I am going to google acupunture/reflexology now...which one is better. I need a thermometer as well. So many things to buy so little time . I need some OPKs as well, but I am not sure if to get a mortgage out to by the CBDs again considering I broke the last one .

Bucky2007 · 19/11/2007 16:10

Oh dear terrible grammar, sorry I didn't preview my post. I meant 'which one is better?'. It was a question, duh.

coolkat · 19/11/2007 16:14

Hi Ladies, Hoping its just spotting for you Bucky.

Sounds like we could all be following your 10 point plan to conceive then Bucky.

Maybe its a little cold for Pixie to come out today, we had snow here last night.

My AF is still missing, surely it can not be worth me testing again next sat? Still baby dancing but I thought the egg would have been and gone no?

Busy day on here, I lose track so easily

[coolkat waves to everyone] I did read through and PMSL at Windy Nips!!

Hello all. I cannot wait until I get a laptop at work (though I'm praying they are lax in their monitoring of our internet use!!).

Bucky - Am really sorry that you've got spotting. I hope you can have some lovely things to treat yourself tonight. Get yourself cosy and eat chocolate.

Cbcb - I'll be holding you to the promise of the workhouse door. Please can we make sure the children fetch mixers to go with the gin?

Now I've decided to start ttc again, I'm really frustrated that I'm about CD25 but with no symptoms. I'm on the 2ww for old AF so I can get a crack on.

However, worringly, when I went for smear (finally, after months of missing the appointments), the nurse said I've got some cervical erosion. Apparently this is completely normal - and I asked if I can still carry; she said it should be fine. This does not, however, stop me worrying! I want to know what my cervix has been up to that's got it eroded! I didn't think my sex life was that vigorous (mores the pity - too tired!) and I had dd by c-section. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It is exactly 10 years since I was pg last time. I found out on 3rd December 1997. I'm feeling all nostalgic and I want a baby in my belly by Christmas 2007!

digitalgirl · 19/11/2007 17:11

starlight & bucky start charting now, so you know what your post-ov/pre-af temps are. then you'll probably notice a dip on the day you get AF, which is quite a good indicator (stops you from wasting another test).
Also, it'll mean you'll know when your temps rise again, whereabouts they should rise to.

Not looking too good here now. I've been denying it this afternoon but just been to the loo again and there is definate brown spotting which is quite normal for me, a day of brown spotting until TEW shows. I know I'm mad but depending on how heavy it is in the morning I may still do a test. If it is TEW I can at least be greatful that this is a short cycle as I'm only CD23!

Hey cbcb - thanks. I've read a bit - sounds gory! I think the jury's out on whether or not it's a problem. Still have no idea what has caused it.

Mums - is there any chance it's implantation bleeding if you're so early in your cycle?

07mumstheword · 19/11/2007 18:27

Abbymeg I don't think it's implantation bleeding as I got a on my opk on day 10 this month so even that was early. Time will tell.

Excitable · 19/11/2007 19:00

Sorry for the confusion everyone. I meant three BFN's.

STILL no sign of Aunt Blinkin Flo, I'm going to bloody kill her when she gets here - she's not even a welcome guest, but the least she can do is ring if she's going to be late!

coolkat · 19/11/2007 19:10

So Excitable your AF, Starlight's AF and my AF all gone AWOL. Is there no chance that any of us could be pregnant?

This 2ww is turning into a 4 week wait!!

Bucky2007 · 20/11/2007 07:14

Well she turned up properly in the end so I am out for this month. Here we go again!

Morning everyone, have a great day.

coolkat · 20/11/2007 07:49

Sorry to hear that Bucky, 10 point plan next month. X

Hope evryone's ok. Nothing to report here.

07mumstheword · 20/11/2007 08:06

Sorry Bucky

I didn't have any more spotting so I did a test this morning and just as I thought BFN. To be honest I knew it would be so I'm not too I know I tested early and I know it's not over until TEW sings but I know she's gonna sing her little heart out this month so here's to a September baby!

ladylush · 20/11/2007 09:04

CD20 here and already imagining extra veiny boobs, extra tingly nips and extra indigestion. So looks like 8-9 days of torment are a coming

Shazza2002 · 20/11/2007 09:23

Morning All

It is too early mtw I'm sure of it. Test again on Friday, if you can wait that long

ladylush I am exactly the same as you. Keep touching my nips wondering why they're not sore, but they bloody will be if I carry on. All I've had is AF aches and like sharp pains. But sure I got these last month too.

Waiting really is a torment. Whether it's waiting to test or waiting for AF, our bodies can be so evil to us

ladylush · 20/11/2007 09:36

My nips really are sore but I get it pre-af anyway.

ladylush · 20/11/2007 09:38

And it can't be due to pregnancy anyway as I thought you don't get any symptoms until implantation when hcg is produced. Only 5 days post ovulation so doubt implantation will have happened yet.

sarahnh · 20/11/2007 09:41

morning all.

sorry tew got u bucky and fingers crossed mtw that it is only spotting!!

I'm really struggling this month, all my symptoms have come so early that i feel every day is dragging...

Meant to tell you all i had a really spooky dream on saturday, i dreamt i had a scan and it was a baby boy and the due date was 21st september!!!!! has anyone else had that kind of dream??? maybe i should my name to sarahweirdo!!!xxxxxxxxxxx

GryffinGirl · 20/11/2007 10:21

bucky - I am so sorry that AF arrived but maybe this new month will be your lucky one. It's about time one of us had some blinkin' luck . Thinking of you, m'dear.

I am CD14 today and poor DH is knackered by my marital demands, but he has a smile on his face ! I got a positive on the OPK last night (hurrah!) so we got down to it straight away and also this morning just because we felt like it . I am enjoying this if nothing else . DH has decided he is on a mission this month to prove his virility, and if nothing happens, it certainly won't be for lack of trying!

digitalgirl · 20/11/2007 10:40

bucky so sorry she got you, at least it was a relatively normal length cycle (not too short, not too long). how strange that you didn't get your usual AF symptoms. thou shalt drink more grapefruit juice.

sarahweirdo I've had 'oh look I've got a baby' dreams before where I've miraculously skipped the pg bit. last night I dreamt I was looking after loads of different children, none of them mine. and trying to hide one of them in a pumpkin. i don't think you're weird.

ladylush I'm sure I've read you can get implantation from 5dpo onwards

mtw prob too early, if that spotting was an implantation then you might still have to wait a few days for the HCG to build up. it ain't over...

GG double points for Gryffin House!

waves to shazza starlight cbcb excitable coolkat abbeymeg and pixie (are you ok?). also, anyone seen picknmix about on the boards? can't remember if she said she was taking a break from ttc...

so i 'might' have ov'ed yesterday. temp did rise slightly this morning, but not as much as I thought it would. now have to wait and see if it goes up a bit more and stays up. this temping thing isn't for the impatient
