Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@Genevive123 mines back to low again now! Who knows what’s going on, I’m either one of the people who get a few peaks or I have just ovulated early! Meaning I’ll have no chance this month!
Ah like you say it’ll probably shoot up one day this weekend xx

@Genevive123 and yes it’s femometer that says today is ovulation day! I’m not sure tho! I also haven’t had EWCM at all so unsure x

@Kty09 oh no when does your partner get home? Think I've weed and done the tests too much today as mines gone down again 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ worries me sick lol x

@Genevive123 he got home yesterday so we got some BD in! Ah really, it is worrying isn’t it 😩 mine is still low today so maybe I did get my surge already x

Hello all. BD twice day before OD, morning and evening OD and morning after. So I hope I'm covered. Guess I'm in the dreaded TWW now. So excited - but scared as well! Strange feeling after years of doing my best NOT to get pregnant to be just praying I do now for the first time ever All the best to you other ladies trying now or in the waiting game with me xxx

AF arrived yesterday for me, not unexpected or upset as it was only our first cycle of TTC.

@Farmer123 I'm sorry to hear that! So disappointing even when it's expected! I'm 10 dpo today and couldn't resist! Got a BFN I'm trying to to be too disappointed at the moment. AF not due until Wednesday-Friday x

@Kty09 ooh maybe !! I think if you had your peak Thursday though you would have only been ovulating yesterday anyway so you might have caught it ??
I've done mine this morning and got 0% so now I'm very stressed out and confused !! Maybe I'm ovulating later this month will keep testing!

@Farmer123 that's how I felt last month too lovely, not unexpected but fingers crossed for you for your second month trying

@Genevive123 mine is also not moving 4 days in a row 48-50% today’s is less than yesterday so I’m also in the confused camp. Especially as had some blood in some EWCM on Thursday. It’s all very stressful!

@Annwen oh yes it’s so much harder then they say! So if you need to symptom spot or drive yourself mad we are hear because we all understand 🤣 I mean I drive myself mental in TWW

@Farmer123 sorry to hear AF has arrived. You’ll soon be back into the next Ovulation cycle. I often find the AF week goes the quickest because I’m the most relaxed!

@Catmumsoph92 still early at 10 dpo would leave until early next week your not out until AF arrives remember 🤞🏻

Newbie to all this hope you don't mind me joining in ! TTC this month for the first time and I've just turned 30. I've actually been off the pill for 2 years now and been tracking on FLO app since, so my cycle is very regular to the day so I'm hoping the ovulation period is correct , seen as it's the first month I'm not using any ovulation sticks for now! It's currently my FW so fingers crossed.
Been nice to read other people stories as not going to discuss with any friends or family.
Been reading a few other threads and my mind is blown with all the information haha

@Emdxb hi lovely!! Good idea not testing LH for the first month I kinda wish I hadn't started as this month isn't going so well and it does stress you out which defo doesn't help with TTC 😂 how are you feeling? Excited , nervous at all? :) x

@Genevive123 I can imagine , I'm going give it a few months until I start that game ha it's probs a good tool if you have just come off the pill etc but with me being off for a couple of years now I'm trying this way for now
I'm very nervous my husband has been wanting a baby for a year or so now, but I travelled a lot for work and we only saw each other maybe 10 days a month so I just put it off :( I got made redundant in October so now I'm home full time and taking a career break. So I thought it's now or never how are you feeling?

@Emdxb yeah that's fair !! I haven't been on the pill or any contraception before think I just decided to start testing so I knew when I was ovulating but I totally wish I didn't as I'm stressed this month now 😂😂

Ooh exciting! Do you think you'll go back to work once baby is a bit older ? Yeah I'm feeling ok thank you hun just excited and nervous all at the same time!

@Genevive123Haha maybe I should look into it then, defo will if nothing happens after a few months but it does seems stressful.
I worked in the travel industry and obviously it's all stopped because of Covid and after years of staying up all night , constant traveling , lack of sleep , jetlag I'm loving the break 😂 don't think I wanna go back ever ha so maybe a change of careers is on the cards eventually. With not working though your mind wanders more and I've fallen down the rabbit hole of googling and reading forums 🤭 kinda wish I was none the wiser in a way , but it's nice to hear from people in the same boat!

It definitely is 😂 it's gotten darker now and starting to go up!! Thank goodness! I'd definitely drank too much water and gone to the loo too much!

Oh yes sound like a change of career would be good then would be horrible and so hard if you had to leave baby!! Forums are good fun sometimes I've learnt a lot about pregnancy and TTC!

@Genevive123 I’m currently on about hour 3 of holding a wee so I can do an OPK soon! I’m hoping mine has gone up. Maybe we are just both ovulating late this month. I have two apps Prenom says tomorrow for OD and Fertility Friend says Monday so no idea. When does yours say?

@Emdxb Welcome! Hope your well. Defo made the right decision just going with the flow and monitoring cycles as well. OPKs are ok but when it doesn’t do what you expect it becomes stressful like this month!

Travel industry has been so hard hit- I mean I miss going on holidays so much! However might be on hold any holidays, if we conceive fingers crossed!

I know it's so bad !! Well talking of holidays I'm actually going away next week 🤭 I'm English but I live in the Middle East and it's life as normal here pretty much so we booked something for a week away.. it's quite remote where we are going and I get back the day I'm due on so I'm hoping that will take my mind off things! Won't be taking any tests with me! Haha probs will drive me mad but think it's for the best

@Genevive123 try not to worry too much. If you’re OD is due to be in the next 2-3 days you might not get your surge until tomorrow or Monday. I got 0% this morning too, I do think it can vary so much due to how much you’re drinking etc! Fingers crossed for the next couple days 🤞🏼 Looks like yours might be rising again, it’s so normal to go up and down! I’m thinking I would be very lucky if I just caught it or I’m out this month. Next cycle looks perfect for me good fertile window (around the weekend) and hopefully BFP day before my partners bday X

@Genevive123 attached is mine for the last few days as you can see all over the place. I’ve not stuck to a consistent time though but have done the afternoon/ evening one after a long hold. It’s gone down again this afternoon. App says Monday. Are yours usually higher at this point so close to ovulation? I’m little confused by mine.

@Genevive123 I know I was telling him how it wasn’t easy to catch the right timing and I didn’t quite realise how much him being away could affect it! I’m going to test for the next week or so at least to see if that was deffo my surge

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good Saturday! I'm on cycle day 5 and wondering when to start using opk? And how often?

I've not used them before. I don't think it'll change when we dtd (that sounds too stressful!) but I'm interested to learn a bit more about my body this month.

I've got loads of one step strips and the purple clear blue digital test (but only 10 strips and probably won't buy more cos it's SO much plastic!)
