Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@taytay2020 so sorry to hear about the BFN. When is AF due? Still could be a chance?

@Marshmallow190 have you tested again or are you going to hold out for Wednesday? When is AF due?

I'm 11 DPO and AF is due in 2 days. Got a migraine yesterday, which I can get a couple of days before AF. And then started spotting this evening. Definitely AF on its way and possibly early - so I'm out this cycle! Thought AF might arrive late this month as I had the Pfizer jab last Monday and have heard it can delay things - opposite for me it seems.

@Clairabelle1 how are you feeling? Was hubby ecstatic when you told him? X

@Lebe14 Could just be a late implantation maybe? Spotting can be a good thing. He was absolutely over the moon- had to keep him from practically shouting it from the rooftops- already abit annoyingly protective but it’s super cute. Feeling fine until today when I’ve got a migraine- very possibly non baby related though- I’ve just been feeling absolutely ravenous.

Full blown AF has arrived for me now :( so I'm onto cycle #9! This is exhausting. Always had a feeling I'd be the one who would struggle (for no reason apart from wanting to wait longer to TTC compared to my friends), but always had some hope that I was wrong.

@Lebe14 I haven’t tested again and probably not going to. I really feel like AF is coming soon unfortunately. My app says I’m due tomorrow but I have been 2 days late the last few months. I have ordered conceive plus ovulation and fertility support so fingers crossed for the next cycle. We must be pretty in sync which is nice! Have you tested this month?

I have a call booked for next week but don’t think they will even entertain me yet. I am signing up with natural cycles with does your basal temp & going to start taking conceive plus. Praying something helps. Don’t loose faith. It will be our time 💕💕

Thanks @Marshmallow190 and @taytay2020. I've ordered some conceive plus vitamins to arrive tomorrow too from Amazon. I've been taking the seven seas vitamins since November so going to change it up a bit to see if that makes a difference... I've tried monitoring basal temp but often I wake up at different times in the morning so not sure how accurate it would be. Is natural cycle an app where you can record it? I might give it another go this month though just to check I'm definitely ovulating! I bought a fermometer a couple of months ago and used their app for a bit. Going to restart with OPKs too for cycle #9. I'm certain I'm BDing at the right time from tracking since November, but worth restarting.

I've not spoken to my GP yet as I agree, I don't think they'll entertain any convo with me until a year has passed. They're not very good at the best of times hah! Unless I just say I've been trying for a year?! Think that will totally freak the hubby out though.

Are either of you doing anything else which you think might help? @Clairabelle1 what's your secret

@Lebe14 I always dread my period arriving but then when it’s here it’s almost like ok reset and try again. It’s the waiting that’s the killer. Hope you’re ok. Look into natural cycles but I do think you have to do it roughly the same time and before you get out of bed. It’s a thermometer and app that you subscribe to. I got the themom free and paid £39 for the year. No idea what it’s like but thought it’s worth a try. I’m going to just tell the docs I’ve been trying for a year and see what they say. Running out of patience 😅

Morning 💕 so I decided to test again today as no spotting or anything which is odd for me and this happened 🥺 The only thing I did different this month is the conceive plus lube so give it a go girls!! Xxx

Ahhhhh @Marshmallow190 I'm so pleased for you!!! Congratulations!! Am I right that this is cycle #7? I bet you're so happy to finally see a positive test. I might need to get some of the conceive plus haha xxxx

@Lebe14 tbh the only thing I did different was give up 😂 it’s month 6 so I decided I wasn’t going to do any OPK’s or symptom spot- only dtd twice during my fertile window- just wanted the stress of it gone for a little while... and it worked xxx

Cycle day 1 here. Maybe I should get some of that conceive plus too! This is the last cycle we can ttc this year, to avoid problems with our twice-postponed wedding reception next summer. So, fingers crossed...

Thank you all! I told my sister and she cried. She knew we have been trying for a while. I’m going to tell my mum tonight. We are really close so they would have asked any way 😂 my other half was so shocked! I told him I got him a present from the shop and he thought it was the euro football stickers 😆 He didn’t believe it at first but we have done three tests now so it’s sunk in. Both really excited but feel like we can’t go ott as it’s so early. Everything crossed for you @Lebe14 and @taytay2020 xx

@taytay2020 sorry to hear AF came. Fingers crossed for us both that this is our month. My conceive plus vitamins have arrived today so already started to take them in case they make more of a difference to the seven seas ones. And I might try the conceive plus lube this month too... just not sure how I feel about putting it in... haha. Might try the external one instead.... It's hard as I don't tell the OH when I'm ovulating as I don't want him to feel like BD is a chore... so I just let him go with the flow. So introducing something might affect that haha.

Just wondered if there is any advice or anyone in the same boat?
TTC first for 18 months nothing wrong with us in the fertility test all normal had hycosy I feel I want to carry trying naturally but is there anything else they can give us to help is there anymore options to assist naturally wondered if they would still give clomid to increase chances even tho ovulation was fine? We're on the vitamins and both healthy not overweight or anything trying to do all the suggested stuff but just wondering what could be next for us still awaiting next appointment with Dr x

Most people on this chat are relatively new to ttc so if you don't find the help you're looking for here you might have more luck on another thread (I've seen a few for others in your situation). @lebe14 I've got the conceive plus lube arriving today, although like you I'm a bit nervous about how this is going to work! My DH is perfectly capable of doing the maths so he knows full well which week I'm likely to be ovulating, so there's already a bit of pressure there 😂 I've heard of people putting it in beforehand (eg in the bathroom) so maybe I'll try that?!

@taytay2020 let me know how you get on and maybe I'll build up the courage!

Ah thanks 🥰 I’m feeling pretty normal. But bloated and sore boobs but other than that I wouldn’t even know. It’s so early still! @Clairabelle1 do you know your rough due date 💜

@taytay2020 Hope it works for you!! Would be lovely for us all to get our bfp’s around a similar time! Im feeling good- just exhausted!! And a little sick. I’m a nurse so 13 hour shift and terrible hospital smells don’t help 😂
