Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@xoJellyBean I'm sorry are u late for your period? It may still be too early for you use a different brand of test?...xx💖💖💖

I'm currently 8dpo so will be symptom-spotting for the next few days! Nothing to report yet though. I'm planning to test on Sunday.

Welcome @lilacliza! It sounds like you have a good attitude. I've definitely been better at healthy eating since ttc (not that you'd know it from my waistline), but my husband always has to prep my fruit for me cos I just can't be bothered!

@justwant2beamum sorry to hear this. Same with me for May! Feel like we’re going to be on this journey together having started TTC at a very similar time.

I’m currently 7/8 DPO. CD23. I didn’t use OPKs this month and took a break from Mumsnet as everything was just becoming a bit much. Haven’t had any symptoms so far apart from being quite emotional over the last couple of days - had a good cry today when yet another person announced a pregnancy on social media. Also seeing friends with kids on the weekend and know I’ll get the dreaded ‘when are you having kids?’ question…!

How’s everyone else getting on? Anyone got any plans to test over the next couple of days? We need to see some BFPs! X

@taytay2020 I’m 7/8DPO today (Cycle #8 TTC) so just behind you. We can work through the 2WW together . I’ve had absolutely no symptoms so far, so implantation pain or bleeding - zilch!! How are you feeling? X

@Lebe14 I'm now 11dpo with basically no symptoms, but then I tend not to get af symptoms either so that's not necessarily a bad sign for me. I'm planning to test on Sunday, keeping everything crossed that this is the month! I'm on hols this week so that has taken my mind off it a bit, although I've used 'eating for two' as an excuse for every bit of cake I've eaten so I'm hoping I can tell my DH 'I told you so!' on Sunday 😂

@taytay2020 @Lebe14 hey! Hope you don’t mind me joining your convo. I’ve had a break from this thread for a while as was all getting a bit much for my head 😅. I am 8/9 dpo and I have been feeling a bit sick and today had the really light brownish discharge (sorry TMI) and I have what feels like like period pains. This is my 7th cycle of properly trying so I’m sort of losing hope. Not sure if it’s the beginning of an early AF (due in 5 days) or if it’s implantation. Praying it’s the latter. I think I may test on Sunday if I can wait that long. Fingers crossed for you both 💘

@taytay2020 haha love that. I'm constantly eating for two! I'm the same, I don't tend to get any pre menstrual symptoms. I have literally just had slight pains above my pubic bone for about 5 mins... however it's likely to be absolutely nothing (probably wind ) so not going to read into it. Fingers tightly crossed for Sunday for you - let us know how it goes! X

@Marshmallow190 lovely to hear from someone who's in such a similar position to me! I'm 1 cycle ahead TTC and just behind you on DPO. It's so demoralising this TTC business isn't it? I feel like it's never going to happen for me and I'm dreading getting to the 1 year stage. I took a break from mumsnet for a bit too and didn't do OPKs this month - needed a complete break from it. I don't think I'll do OPKs next cycle either.

Brown discharge at 9DPO sounds promising....! Do you usually spot before AF or is that pretty unusual? Only time will tell but fingers tightly crossed for you for Sunday. Keep us updated!! X

@Lebe14 it is nice to have people in a similar position but I can’t help wishing we weren’t in this position. It’s all driving me a bit loopy at the moment. I didn’t do OPKs this month or last month I am just going by my app. I’m also dreading the one year mark but it’s also the point where the NHS will start getting involved (I hope) I don’t usually have spotting this early on or pains this early. In fact the last 3 months I’ve been two days late which really did play on my emotions. The wait is the worst time! Family and friends just say ‘oh just try forgetting about it and relax’ I wish I could haha! So it’s nice to have you guys to speak to. Fingers crossed for everyone this month!! The only thing I have done differently this month is to use the conceive plus lube stuff so I’m hoping that has had a positive effect. Xx

Hi Guys, I’ve not posted on this thread for a couple of months as it’s been getting me really down obsessing! But I have been keeping an eye on everyone.
Im 10DPO today and think I FINALLY have my bfp!! Can anyone else see it or am I going crazy?? I didn’t know who else to ask as no one knows we are ttc yet and I don’t want to get SO’s hopes up for nothing xx

I caved and went to buy yet another clear blue... so happy I did! 😁😁 actually can’t believe it!! So excited! Just hope it sticks!🤞 Now do I tell SO when he comes back from lunch or wait until tomorrow? He’s working until 8pm- will it be mean to tell him and send him back to work?

@Marshmallow190 I used my last clear blue yesterday which was 9DPO too and it said not pregnant... a cheap one this morning also said negative so tried a different brand as well today and, well... here we are 😁 Dont give up hope- it’s not over ‘till the fat lady sings (aka- AF makes her appearance).

@taytay2020 Not really had any symptoms- very mild period like pain for about two minutes in the bath at 8DPO... just kinda had a niggling feeling that this mornings negative test was wrong.

Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for everyone this month... there’s definitely something in the air!

@Marshmallow190 I totally agree - it's so hard and no one prepares you for it as it's just not talked about it enough. Trying to relax is so hard to do, almost impossible. Me and the hub haven't told anyone we're TTC so don't have anyone to talk to about it, that's why this group is so good and finding others in the same situation, to know you're not alone. I've heard lots about conceive plus and people raving about it. I'm not sure whether to try it as I can suffer from cystitis so worried it might bring that on?! Maybe I'll give it a go next month. Hopefully your spotting is implantation. Fingers tightly crossed!!! X

@Marshmallow190 just saw your other message about the BFN :( sorry to hear about that. What DPO are you? Is it still quite early? Could try again in a couple of days, although I know how disheartening it is to see BFN after BFN. You're not out until AF arrives! Xx

@Clairabelle1 congratulations!!!! That's lovely news!! Defo tell the hubby when he comes back for lunch and get him to take the rest of the afternoon off to celebrate haha xxx

@Lebe14 totally agree. It really isn’t talked about enough I think going by my app I am now 10 DPO so maybe still early. My other half keeps telling me to wait till I’m late to test and I wish I could but my patience always wears thin 😂 I also suffer with cystitis and thrush and it’s been absolutely fine for me. If AF comes this month, on my next cycle I an going to try their tablets too. I have tried well woman but hasn’t helped so far.

Fingers crossed for everyone. Now to try and chill out for the weekend. 💘💕💜

Aaaaand BFN for me this morning. Oh well. I spent the rest of the morning looking up local pool memberships - more time ttc equals more time to lose lockdown weight first, right?! Silver linings.

@marshmallow190 I hadn't realised you were only 8/9dpo when you tested before - definitely still in with a chance. Have you tested again now?

@taytay2020 that's exactly my thoughts right now too lol I was looking at myself the other day when af arrived and thought ew I hate my body! Imagine being pregnant when I hate how I look weight wise🙄 so yes, silver linings 🙈

Aww sorry to hear that @taytay2020! I do think AF is coming. I’m very cranky to say the least 😂😂 I will test again on Wednesday I think (if no AF by then). Hope you’ve all hand a nice weekend 💘
