Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Wow Nomore that is fast! Good luck for your meeting.

I am due on the 15th June, which sounds a lot further away than 16 weeks, given how fast the last 24 have gone!

poppy75 · 26/02/2008 14:35

Hello everyone -

hobnobs I attended the first clinic appointment on my own as DH was away working. I took all the results with me as it was at a different hospital. They didn't seem to mind at all.

I have just heard from my consultant and she's confirmed all the results are ok, so to go ahead with the HSG (next week). They have booked an appointment for my review with the consultant in the second week of April, alittle bit of wait but I can cope with that. All in all the service has been quite speedy, I was only referred in Jan and will have tests and HSG within 2 months and review in 3 months from referral.

will not be ttc for the next 2 months so feel alot more relaxed and decided to drink and do bad stuff.

Due to HSG can't ttc this month and had yellow fever injection which nurse told me not to ttc for 3 months after it. Does anyone else know how long you should wait??? I think I won't next month and that will give it 10 weeks which should be fine.

Anyway I'm off out now, will be sprinkling dust for BFP's to you all this week

mistlethrush · 26/02/2008 14:38

Poppy hope HSG goes well.

poppy75 · 26/02/2008 14:46

Thanks will let you know - not sure what results I want. If there is a blockage at least a cause has been found, if not not sure what the next stage is. Will have to wait and see.

Gilly - k2togtbl - knit 2 together through back of loop - ie when you normally do a knit stitch you put the needles in through the part of the stitch that is over the front of the needle, and push the needle away from you. For this, instead put your needle in along the other needle and poke it out backwards after you go through 2 stitches (try it and it will be more obvious!) rather than knitting 2 together through the front where you effectively skip over the first and stick your needle in the second but then catch the first as well.

When I had HSG I would have preferred the consultant not to say 'there that wasn't too bad was it' to me afterwards - I don't think anyone should say that unless they've had the procedure done on them! I think that it affects different people differently, but quite a few people suggest having some ibuprofen 30 mins before.

Poppy Ds post dated HSG. Can't remember how long, but not too long.

hobnobs · 27/02/2008 17:34

Poppy Hope HSG goes well next week - will be away so look forward to hearing about it when I get back. Know what you mean about not being sure what results you want - part of me is hoping we'll find out what the problem is (as long as it's easily solvable!)

Nomore hope your appointment goes well.

Well, have left DH's semen analysis paperwork by the PC (subtle hint!) but will wait until Friday morning when he's off work before nagging gently reminding him to book his appointment. Gilly Hope it doesn't take you DH too long to get round to it - must be difficult when he's away from home so much.

Ready If you're lurking, hope your positivity is coming back. As Gilly said, we miss you

nomoremagnolia · 27/02/2008 19:39

Apologies for cutting and pasting from IVF thread, but here's how it went yesterday...

Well the appointment yesterday went well - It was a meet and greet/presentation and there were about 15 couples there.

The head of the department gave a presentation about the procedure of IVF and then an embryologist talked us through what she does and showed us lots of slides, which I found fascinating! Then finally the nurse talked us through the admin side of it all and told us about things like the counselling and support group. They said that the next thing we had to do was ring today and they?d give us a date for the initial physical tests (another sperm test for DH and another scan and a trial embryo transfer for me) then we have to have a consultation with both of us there and we?re away. The initial tests are next week for DH and the week after for me and the consultation is after Easter, it's all happeneing so quickly!!

My first impressions of both the clinic and the staff (in person and on the phone) was very positive. I am feeling really good about all of this

MT sorry you're still not yourself - can you go back to docs? Heiffer would be so much better!
Gilly So are you going to start up the knitting again? I have started work on a lace pattern blanket [eek]
hobnobs fingers crossed your DH gets the hint
poppy good luck for the HSG - I haven't had one so can't say it will be alright, but I hope it is. Don't worry too much about your hospital at this stage, it's the HFEA places that I think you really need to do your homework on. We didn't have a 'choice' as such but did get to express a preference for one of two units and we got the one I wanted [yippee]
sybil I can't believe it's June you're due - that's not that long now! How are you feeling?
Ready I know you're not here at the mo but it felt wrong not to say hi to you

Hello everyone

Well, my patience paid off. DH mentioned he hadn't booked his sperm analysis appointment last night and asked me to remind him this morning. He now has a date in a couple of weeks' time which means we'll have the results before the referral appointment.

Nomore Sounds like your appointment went really well and so glad you're not being kept waiting long.

Gilly I'm so impressed with your knitting. I've got a cross-stitch sampler I started last year for someoone and haven't finished yet - it's very slow progress.

Hello to everyone else. Am going to be away for the next week or so but would be lovely to see some good news when I get back! Fully expect AF to appear while I'm away.

scorpio1 · 29/02/2008 13:51

hey, just checking in. 34 weeks today!!

have been a bit rubbish lately but hopefully sorting itself out soon.

Hope you are well!!

mistlethrush · 29/02/2008 19:19

Hi all, been a bit busy this week and am totally knackered. However, Mil is staying tonight so Ds demanded that she bath him and that he comes into her bedroom in the morning for some stories. Lie in tomorrow morning - bliss!!!!

Mil saying that she's really tired as she got up early this morning. I said that I'd had a lie in - until 7 - she sounded disappointed, so I guess that her early morning was more like 7.30! Never mind, she will get a prompt alarm call tomorrow morning to make up for it!

Gilly - well done on finishing one, hope the other one matches! When you get a bit more confident, the stripes will be easy - its just a case of doing two rows 'backwards' so that you get a bobbly side out rather than the flat of the knit side. It sounds as though you'll be there soon though. Re your friend - some people seem to find it as easy as rabbits . Secretary at work's a bit like that - since new year last year she's moved house, got married (July), got pregnant (Oct) and got a new kitchen (Jan). Humph...

Hi girls.. can't believe how long it is since I've been on.. the days have just passed in a whirl of absolute exhaustion and general nausea (not that I'm complaining - I just haven't managed to get anything done - including coming on here to chat to you lovely ladies..)

How are we all?

I've tried to catch up properly but forgive me if I miss anything..

Gilly -very impressed with your knitting skills.. I'm going to have to start practising. I'm perfect at hats and scarves and that's about it.. I have a friend who got married 2.5 years ago and already has 2 kids and is trying for number 3.. guess it just happens instantly for some people.. I equally have a friend who has been trying for 3 years for her first and has been to hell and back with MC and infertility and still births.. I guess that you just never know with TTC - when you think about it - it is such a miracle that 2 cells can bond and make a baby that grows from a cell into a real little person.. it's amazing it ever happens really..

nomore huge congrats on the successful appointment - it sounds as though everything is going full steam ahead. At this rate when is the earliest they will do the first transfer? It's all very exciting! What is a lace patterned blanket? I'm intrigued..

Ready huge hug! Hope you're ok!!

MT How's things going? Sounds like the MIL is getting a real eye opener to your reality of lie-ins

Scorpio - 34 weeks - oh my god! How time has flown!! Nearly there chick!

Hobnobs - how's things? Did you get a date for the old sperm analysis? Are you off on holiday then? Enjoy!

Poppy how's it going? hope the hsg went well.

Sybil I can't believe we were cycle buddies for a time and now you are due on the 15 June! Time flies!!

anyone or anything I've missed - I'm sorry - I'm making a promise to myself to stay up to date from now on..

haven't quite ventured into the threads yet as I'm too scared.. so if you don't mind I may just stay here..

toomuchtimeonline · 05/03/2008 14:27

My oh my - it is quiet on here.. guess I'm not the only one who's been absent recently..

nomoremagnolia · 05/03/2008 15:32

Hiya toomuch how are you doing? It is really quiet here at the mo isn't it? (Was about to offer you some wine, but guess you won't want it!)
How many weeks are you now? Glad to hear you're feeling sick and shattered- in the nicest way of course! My lace patterned blanket is a knitted blanket with a lacy pattern, I'll post a pic of the patterned bit on my profile tonight. The earliest we could be starting the actual procedure will be april with egg collection/ embryo transfer at the end of may

lol @ under the influence - i wish!! Have not had a single drop of alcohol since July.

Will keep you posted. apparently i have to have a live labour thread so look out! I reckon she will be born on 6th April, at 39 weeks.

nomoremagnolia · 06/03/2008 07:21

OP posts:
toomuchtimeonline · 06/03/2008 10:21

Hey Nomore - sorry - got really busy at work yesterday afternoon.. How exciting about the potential transplant in May! Is DH really excited? Saw your bit of knitting on you profile page!! That is amazing - is it hard? Where's the pattern from? Will you have to knit lots of little bits and then sew it together? (so many questions.. I guess I just get excited about baby blankets..) I read all about your ugg boots but missed the pictures . I'm nearly 8 weeks [nervous face] - it's all so unreal! How are you feeling generally at the moment? You sound quite chipper!

Scorpio - wow 3.5 weeks!! Aahhh - can't believe how time has flown!! You must be so excited to meet her!

.. I can't believe Bella had a live birth thread and I missed it - I didn't even know she'd had the baby yet.. [toomuch runs off to try and find the thread..]

Morning everyone else - hope all is well
