Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Helllo toomuch Bella had a baby boy see here
I'm feeling ok - CD1 today but that's ok as I don't expect anything else anymore Am eager to get on with the IVF though - I hate waiting and this isn't even waiting as we've been reffered straight away to the IVF clinic who are willing to start straight away too. DH has already done his sample (he had to go and do it at the clinic to prove that he could do it in a strange room under pressure!) and I'm going for a scan next week. After that it's the consultation where they will discuss our results and hopefully after that we will start with CD1 of my next cycle.
8 weeks already where does the time go?
The lace knitting pattern is one my auntie taught me - I'm going to just knit long strips (like scarves) of each colour and then sew them together to make a rainbow striped blanket. I've going to do white, pink, yellow, green, blue, purple and then white again.

toomuchtimeonline · 06/03/2008 11:27

Sorry to hear it's CD1 but glad you're looking towards the IVF positively! Have any of the tests revealed why you guys have had trouble? Even though May is not too far away - I can understand how hard it is to wait even a day never mind a few months!! It's been a really tough ride for you! Saw you on the "lapping" thread earlier.. and can understand how frustrating it must be for you - just think though that very soon you should have your own bump/baby and then you won't care that people beat you too it!

Loving the blanket - I'm very jealous! I want to be able to knit like that [toomuch runs off to find a lacy blanket pattern]

Yes - in some ways the time has flown.. I found out at 3.5 weeks so I've known over a month now but in others ways it seems to have dragged on for ages! Saw the heartbeat on a scan yesterday which finally made me realise that it is all real - very scary - but the most amazing feeling in the world..

So glad you guys have let me stay

mistlethrush · 06/03/2008 11:30

AWWWHHHH!!!

toomuchtimeonline · 06/03/2008 11:39

Sorry MT

toomuchtimeonline · 06/03/2008 11:40

p.s. I want Nomores blanket - if the stamping works can you let me know and I'll give it a go too

mistlethrush · 06/03/2008 11:46

I could make the blanket, its just making the baby to go in the blanket that's the problem.

PiggyPenguin · 06/03/2008 13:10

Hi everyone, loving the blanket Nomore. I wish I could drum up the energy to knit but at the moment I just want to fall asleep watching tv in the evenings!

Scorpio, wow the time has just flown for you!, I can't believe you are that close to the birth. Actually it makes me a bit nervous as I know I still have ages to go while you are still pregnant and when you aren't anymore it will be a bit scary!

Toomuch, 8 weeks already! when are you actually due? Its great that you have already seen the heartbeat, and while the sickness is awful and I totally sumpathise, it is really good news.

toomuchtimeonline · 06/03/2008 13:37

Sorry MT - is DH going to be more obliging this month?

Hi Sybil!! How's things? I'm due in mid October (seems a long way off!)

nomoremagnolia · 06/03/2008 16:10

Hello MT and sybil nice to see you both
toomuch didn't realise you'd had a scan - seeing the heartbeat is amazing at such an early stage. With the IVF we get a six week scan (to check for ectopic or twin pgs) and an 8 week scan too. Really glad for the early reassurance that these will provide as my sis found out at her 12 week scan that her baby stopped had growing at 6 weeks
Would say I'd make you a lacy blanket but I think I'll still be working on this one for a while yet! I'll try and find the pattern for you though if that's any help? Would you like some baby ugg boots instead? I'm making some for makecakes/flosspot's baby

OP posts:
toomuchtimeonline · 06/03/2008 16:52

nomore so sorry to hear about your sister is she ok? We had the scan at 7 weeks due to some bleeding and it was very reassuring however, a week later and I want another one - won't get one till 12 weeks now. I think that after everything that you go through with IVF - a couple of scans is the least that they can give you!

It would be great if you could point me in the direction of the blanket pattern and the ugg boots

mistlethrush · 06/03/2008 19:56

That's why I'm glad that I've managed to get referred to recurrent mc unit - I think that I'll be able to get weekly scans for quite a while. I know last time that it was awful going between scans and or midwife visits because of the 'what if...' factor. I'm also going to opt for a different mw even though the one I had is normally the only one that deals with our Doctors - have already OKd with Doctor - she's a very nice person, but I have absolutely no faith in her medical comments whatsoever, and could do with someone that might think a bit before talking...

Hope that dh will cooperate a bit more this month. Otherwise its very difficult to go to any healthcare professionals and say that we're actively trying when dh has managed to miss the critical period by days (weeks?!) again...

toomuchtimeonline · 07/03/2008 10:51

Oh MT - you sound really down .. as with Nomore I think the least that the nhs can do is give you regular scans after all you've been through.

I'm sending your dh positive vibes this month so that you hopefully get some serious bonging done

mistlethrush · 07/03/2008 20:44

Sorry Toomuch - I think that mumsnet is actually what keeps me fairly even keel in rl - although not feeling too down - at least I am talking about the possibility of getting bfp and needing a different midwife

Hello everyone. Just checking to see what I've missed.
Nomore Great news that it's all progressing so quickly. The date for egg transfer really isn't far away.
Toomuch Glad all is well - it must have been a relief to see the scan.
Gilly Pleased that you've finally got DH booked in for his semen analyis. My DH is re-doing his tomorrow (hopefully he will be less stressed about it this time!) so I'll be doing the hospital run again first thing in the morning. Your hat and mittens are gorgeous.
MT - hope you have a bit more luck with DH this month. I started off by not trying to plan the BD-ing too much as I know that DH hates the lack of spontaneity. However, as that hasn't really worked, I think even he's accepted that we need a degree of planning and we are trying to be more careful about social commitments around the relevant time.

As for me, well, AF reared her ugly head last week , as expected, though it doesn't make it any easier. Had a few moments of indulgent self-pity (and spent an hour or so in the middle of Thursday night feeling sorry for myself, so much so that woke DH up who was very sweet, although I know he was a bit disappointed too.) The slightly regimented BD-ing approach clearly didn't work this month but hey-ho, onwards and upwards.

Waves to Poppy, Scorpio and Sybil and anyone else I've missed.

toomuchtimeonline · 10/03/2008 13:32

Afternoon all! Horrid weather isn't it.. makes you want to curl up under the duvet and stay in bed all day!

mistlethrush · 10/03/2008 14:16

Its been very variable here - came out in pouring rain this morning, but went out to meeting in lovely sunshine - had to put the desk lamp back on in the office though as has gone dull again.

Hobnobs am planning to 'jump' dh tonight or tomorrow night - can't warn him as that will put him off too!

nomoremagnolia · 11/03/2008 15:50

Gilly Nice to see you again, love the knitting - where is the hat pattern from? It's sweet
Hobnobs the dates I gave are only best case scenario, don't get your hopes up too soon for me! We will know quite a bit more after our appointment after Easter.
MT Did you manage to jump your DH
toomuch Sis is being very philosophical about it all - much better that I would be. Have found the knitting patterns for you baby ugg boots here and lace blanket here For the lace blanket I took just the lace pattern from this pattern, added four stitches to each end of the lace pattern and am knitting long stips of each colour to then sew together for a blanket.
Those of you who are into knitting should join www.ravelry.com that's where I have found these patterns. You have to sign up to a waiting list to join but it only a couple of weeks to wait and it's well worth it! There's even a MN group on there

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 11/03/2008 16:24

Got back rather late last night, so will have to jump him tonight when it shouldn't be so late. Out every night this week, and all day Saturday

toomuchtimeonline · 11/03/2008 16:57

Hi girls

Been stuck doing stupid work all day so haven't had time to look at the links yet but ta very much nomore!

MT - good luck with the jumping tonight

big wave to everyone else {toomuch skuttles back to do some more stupid work}

hobnobs · 11/03/2008 17:14

Good luck tonight then Mistlethrush . Am currently debating whether to tell DH when he needs to be available for BD-ing next week. If I don't, there's a chance he'll come home late from work and stressed which is no good.

Did the hospital run for his semen analysis again this morning - he wasn't quite so stressed out about it this time thank goodness. Bit cross to discover that my carefully planned detour to avoid the rush hour traffic near the hospital was scuppered by a road closure and diversion. Still managed to get there in the allotted hour.

Those knitting links look good - maybe I should take it up! Wonder if it would take my mind off TTC, although have a million other things I could be doing - am struggling a bit to focus on other things at the moment - sometimes feel a bit like my life's on hold until I get pregnant which isn't really very practical.

nomoremagnolia · 11/03/2008 17:32

hobnobs that's why I started learning to knit - something new to concentrate my mind on rather than ttc (and it'll come in handy when i do get pg ) Glad you got to the hospital in time
toomuch at "stupid work"
