Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

New thread especially for Ready

Scorpio, how lovely!! Tell us all about your day?

Would you believe it Gilly, we have NO chocolate in the house, and I am too lazy to walk to the shop and buy any! Haven?t got a clue about where to buy wool online, but will be interested in the responses

Sybil, how exciting that you have started to feel the baby How are you feeling?

This thread has gone a little flat? I blame myself, getting everyone?s hopes up and letting you all down.

Nomore, good luck tomorrow poppet will be thinking of you ? had a good chuckle at you saying we are ?damn nice? ? we are, aren?t we. And more people should look in on us from time to time, shouldn?t they

Thanks for the pattern MT, I have got my knitting out of the box it was stuffed, it was going to be a scarf, but have decided that the tension (?) wasn?t perfect and so I have unravelled it all and am starting again. But this time I am going to knit a blanket. I think. That can?t be too hard, can it?

Millie26, welcome back, I am so sorry to hear about your mc. Also sorry to hear that you have been bleeding, have you spoken to your gp? Good luck trying again, fingers crossed for you

Hobnobs, welcome to the thread (come and see us on the ttc1 forever thread too if you like) ? good on your for going to see your gp and getting the ball rolling, it certainly makes you feel a little more in control, or at least it did for me. Good luck with the tests. You have come to the right place, we are a lovely bunch and I hope we will be able to offer you support Oh, and don?t worry about the knitting, I am rubbish

We had a lovely lovely day, can't believe i have been married for nearly a week

We got married at 11.20, i was so worried i wouldnt say the vows right but i did . then we we went out for a meal, they decorated it lovely , there were 20 of us plus my 3 boys. Babysitter got the boys at 3pm.We left at 4pm, we went home and had a sleep was soooo tired, i hardly had any sleep the night before, DH was out at his friends house and i cant sleep without him.

We then went back out at 5.30pm, to our evening reception. That was great, very tiring htough and people let us down, saying they would be there and then they weren't, and idnt even text us. but hey ho we still had a good turnout. We left at about 11pm, to go to bed!!

We keep calling each other hubby and wifey, its still very new to us

I did have half a flute of champagne too but was very small amount with very big dinner so thats ok right? have had no other alcohol this pg, and no intentions to either!

Millie bump is fine, im 29 weeks now, shitting myself that in 10 weeks ish (i always have mine at 39 weeks) i will give birth and have an actual baby!!

hobnobs · 25/01/2008 15:22

Hello again
Thanks for all your words of welcome and sorry for taking so long to pop back. Ready - I may well come and join you on the TTC No 1 forever thread as well. You're right - I certainly felt a sense of relief after I'd been to the doctor.

Was getting a bit panicked yesterday as I didn't get a smiley face on my OPK (I always do) and had timed my Day 21 (well Day 19 for me) blood test next Friday based on ovulating today so thought that it might mess up the results. However, got one today so hopefully it shouldn't make too much difference.

Unfortunately, DH is feeling very under the weather at the moment and not sleeping well so my chances of seducing him tonight are not looking good . Came down at 12.30 last night to see if I could drag him to bed and he was busy working and I didn't have the heart to disturb him ...

PiggyPenguin · 25/01/2008 16:17

Congratulations Scorpio, you looked absolutely gorgeous in the photos! I can't believe you are 29 weeks already, that has gone so quickly. I am 20 weeks this weekend and really looking forward to the last scan.

Hope everyone else is fine and looking forward to the weekend!

nomoremagnolia · 26/01/2008 01:09

Hi girls
Went back to the fertility clinic today for our "clomid hasn't worked what next?" appointment and the (very straight talking) gynae doc said it's straight to ivf. Very as was expecting either to wait for a while or try iui first but doc said if nhs are paying for one cycle it made sense to go for the procedure with the best success rate! Am feeling very odd, nervous and excited but also sad that DH and I can't make our own baby. Still trying to get my head round it to be honest.

(((((((hugs for nomore)))))) but glad you are being treated well.

mistlethrush · 28/01/2008 09:29

nomore - we went for that route - not that the route went as planned, or the direction expected - but got there in the end!

Best of luck! When is your next appt? - do you know yet when you are likely to be able to start?

I'm not feeling very positive for this cycle either - dh has been a bit ill (man-cold) so not been exactly pro-active. Very slight chance, but I'm not expecting anything

Never mind, I've got quite a few flowers out already in the garden: two types of hellebores, a witch hazel, cyclamen coum and (rather surprisingly) a dark red scabious. Spring is on its way! Hope we all start feeling better and having a bit more luck.

Hi Scorpio I have now seen your wedding pictures (had been posting from mobile so couldn't view them before) You look amazing - I hope I look like that when I'm 30 wks pg Can't believe there's only 10 weeks to go - it doesn't seem that long since you got your BFP!

thankyou a much needed boost to my self esteem i do feel a bit whaleish at the moment, i am used to being a size 6/8 and this is my biggest ever baby bump!

i know what you mean about time flying, am a little it is because i do think this may be last ever dc if DH has his way. but also that life will move forward iyswim?

poppy75 · 28/01/2008 17:12

Hello guys - I'm in and out of MN but some of you might remember me. MC 18 months ago and nothing since. Have my first clinic appointment on thursday and was wondering if any of you had any tips or questions I should ask.

What do they normally do? DH sperm are ok, I'm ovulating and GP blood tests have been fine, so not sure what the next step is [hmn}

Thanks Gilly - My mc was July '07 so we've both been trying for around the same length of time. Thanks for the info, I guess I was really hoping that they could go ont he tests we've already had. I seem to spend all my time waiting for the next test and not really getting anywhere!! I guess I'm too impatient with this!

I keep thinking that if I hadn't have had my mc I wouldn't have been so focused on ttc.

Although your DH's tests were down they must be ok as you fell pregnant last time.

I really would like investigations into any blockages in tubes as my sister had a problem that was ok after laporoscopy.

poppy75 · 28/01/2008 19:41

Whoops I meant July '06 just realised how long ago that seems!!!

mistlethrush · 28/01/2008 21:59

Gilly / Poppy - similar timescale here too - mc Oct 06 and again Oct 07 (effectively 'on-line' on mn...) - meant to be being referred for recurrent mc (as that's 3 out of 4), but not got any appointment through yet which is a bit annoying. Will have to do some phone calls...

Ready · 29/01/2008 15:46

Ok? someone tell me? did I dream LondonLottie popping back in?? Where did she go?

Sorry I have not been about for a few days, been a tad busy? had a job interview last week, eek, should hear whether I have been selected for the post some time this week. Fingers crossed. And then we had some friends come to stay, which was lovely. But it meant no time on MN

Scorpio Whaleish Tut. You look lovely!

Gilly, that website looks really cool. Will have to have a gander when I get five minutes. Shame there wasn?t any wool on sale on JL, but good for you for braving a London branch!! I found my knitting book, but I am still procrastinating. I wonder if I am subconsciously trying to delay the knitting thing ??
I had a giggle at you confessing to still calling each other wifey and hubby ? I shan?t repeat me and dh nicknames, but suffice to say, the novelty of pet names hasn?t worn off in our house either

Hobnobs, I don?t think that one day will make a dramatic difference on your Day21 test, however, I would be inclined to mention to the GP that you think you ovulated later than expected so if your progesterone level is not as high as they are expecting, then you should be able to do the test again to be sure.

Sybil, where does the time go? 20 weeks already hope you are doing well?

MT, funny you should say about spring being on its way? I was thinking that this morning. Planning in my head when to start growing tomatoes and peppers this year. Thinking of trying some salad things too, but not sure what is best in a grow bag or pot. There are also some shrubs that could do with some attention before spring, otherwise they will look awful come summer.

Nomore, thinking of you lots flower. Hope that the wait for IVF is short, now that you know what you are going to do next, it makes sense to get on and do it. Hopefully you won?t be waiting long.

Poppy, how nice to see you, although of course I wish none of us were on this side of MN? but you knew what I meant Good luck at your appointment, hope it brings some relief for you, if only that you feel a little more in control of the situation.

Anyone else I have missed? apologies hope you are well

Oh yes... my mistake... the other thread

hobnobs · 30/01/2008 11:23

Hello everyone.
Am a bit rubbish at keeping up. Fingers crossed for the job Ready . I ended up feeling ovulation pains last Friday evening so think my calcualations for my blood test were right after all although we didn't BD until Saturday morning (can't quite believe I'm sharing this information) which was probably a bit late.

DH has picked up his leaflets etc about sperm testing from the doctor though not quite sure how long it will be before he gets round to it - I think that psychologically he's finding it difficult to deal with any suggestion that there might be a problem on his side. It would just be good to know if there are any underlying problems either way. We have to take it to a hospital that's at least 30 minutes drive away within an hour of doing the deed - just hope the rush hour traffic isn't too bad!

Nomore I really feel for you. I alternate between feeling relieved that I've taken the first steps by just going to the doctor and unsure about how I'll feel, if we end up going down the assisted conception route (whilst I know it will take some time to get to that stage, we won't be able to hang around too long if that's we need to do).

I've just bought TCOYF by Toni Wechsler. Haven't got very far with it yet but have a question for those of you who are charting, if my cycles are fairly regular and I can usually detect ovulation with OPK, what are the main advantages of charting?

mistlethrush · 30/01/2008 11:27

Hobnobs - Hello! I know what you mean about the drive in - I've done 'taxi' service for dh in similar circumstances - we live about 6.5 miles from hospital so should be easy, but you have to get your timings right... Dh ended up having the day off when I was on a no work day (was meant to be doing college work that day!) and I basically left him alone until I was summoned! Hope all goes well.
