Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

New thread especially for Ready

Lottie, I will repeat what I said on the temp thread about being pleased to see you back ? but then that is it, I won?t say it a third time in the ttc#1 forever thread
Looking forward to your new name - what have you been up to lately?

Thanks for the crossed fingers Hobnobs, I am getting anxious about it if I am honest, nothing in the post today, and I know it is only Wednesday, but still?
I remember when we had to take dh?s sperm to the hospital, it was comical. I sat in the car on the driveway waiting for him to do his thing. Gawd knows what the neighbours thought I was doing for 5 minutes just sitting there. Then we had to drive 20 minutes to the hospital, and there was nowhere to park so dh had to get out and walk, cup in hand while I circled the entire facility. How we laughed
I am sorry your dh is struggling with the idea that he might have an issue ? but better to find out than not. There is so much that can be done for semen issues, and their test is far less invasive than what we women have to go through, so best to do that first Hope all goes well.
I have got the TCOYF book too, it?s very interesting. I would say the best thing about charting (for me) is seeing the temp spike and feeling content that I have ovulated, it?s nice to see that we had sex at the right times, more relaxed perhaps ? although it hasn?t made any real difference so far . I guess it just gives me a sense of control, because ttc can be so frustrating and make you feel anything but in control. If that makes sense?

Thinking of you Nomore sweetheart, really missing you. Hope that you are ok? And you know where I am if you need to rant or vent or whatever. Hugs

Big wave to everyone else

Oh? Has anyone heard of KateWalsh? Her album is called Tim?s House ? love it. Just thought I would throw that out there? since I can?t comment on knitting because I still haven?t done any

mistlethrush · 30/01/2008 16:43

Ready !!5 mins!! I certainly had to keep myself out of the way for a lot longer than that!!! I think that dh got nervous thinking about it and the pressure got to him...!

Ready · 30/01/2008 16:49

Haha!! MT, I know, that's why I put the - I had a book and everything Bless him, he knew he was working to a time scale

PiggyPenguin · 01/02/2008 11:00

Hey all, its been really quiet on here! Was really hoping for snow today but sadly is not going to happen.

Is everyone ok? Am a bit concerned about you all when you are so quiet...

hobnobs · 01/02/2008 11:04

Hello everyone. Well, just back from my day 21 (well 19 for me) blood test. Also had a vaginal swab to rule out any infection and the nurse mentioned that I have a retroverted cervix though she didn't think it would make conception any harder. Just done a bit of reading on Mumsnet and elsewhere about this and there seem to be various (conflicting) opinions about this though lots who say they got pregnant without trying !
Thanks for the sharing your experience of semen analysis tests! Just need to persuade DH to book his appointment now (they only do it two days a week so hope he won't have to wait too long for it). After the discomfort (albeit minor) I've been through this morning, it's the least he can do

mistlethrush · 01/02/2008 15:43

2 things in the post yesterday... Appointment for next Thurs for recurrent mc; confirmation that ds has got into one of the schools we went round last week, so a bit of and in th mistlethrush household.

Its been snowing up here, although it isn't settleing (sp? - with or without e ?) - when I say up here, it will be down here for some people, but probably not the majority....

Af arrived today. Rather peculiarly, after years of a 28 day cycle, just had 2 25 day cycles which is very strange.

nomoremagnolia · 02/02/2008 14:16

I'm still lurking, just not got much to say at the moment CD1

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 04/02/2008 09:17

Hi Nomore - close in terms of timescale aren't we?

Its been very quiet around here lately... Where is everybody?

Any knitting happening?

Ready · 04/02/2008 09:58

Nope... no knitting going on MT... I am rubbish

T'is very quiet like you say... I think it is the winter blues

Although, as per bleedin' usual, I am optimistic and bouncy. There is no keeping me quiet - When CD1 rolls round I hit rock bottom, and I think, I am never going to feel optimistic about this ttc again. Pah! Within a week I am temping like a newbie, pondering my chart, thinking about the possibilities. I am a law unto myself, and I am certain that before too long it will all come crashing down around me.

I mean, the optimism cannot be endless, surely?

mistlethrush · 04/02/2008 10:14

Ready - keep up with the optimism!

Re knitting - are you having a go at anything, or are you just putting it off as you feel you can't do it? I'm putting it off because I'm knackered! Doing quite a bit in the evenings to try to get my other business going a little more regularly and don't feel like starting anything after that.

Ready · 04/02/2008 14:43

I find painting more of a draw at the moment when I am at a loose end. Should upload some of my pieces to show, since I have no knitting to show-off
I guess it's because I am not very good, and being a perfectionist, if I throw myself into it, I will become obsessed, so better to just stare at the scarf with the needles still poking into the ball of wool - than attempt to cast off.

Ready · 04/02/2008 14:44

How are your businesses going MT?

mistlethrush · 04/02/2008 15:34

Ready - quite well thanks - could do with a few more shows, but they are coming, as are the team!

Casting off is easier than you think - don't build it up into 'SOMETHING DIFFICULT' when it isn't! I always find casting off in knit is easier than purl - so if you can, get so you would normally be doing a knit row - then knit two stiches, (Presuming that you are knitting so that you start with the stiches on the LHS and end up wiht them on the RHS) with your lft needle (still with lots of stiches on), go into the front of the first stich that you knitted and gently pull over the top of the 2nd - then knit another stitch and do the same again. When you get to just one stitch left, make it a bit bigger, then pull the whole ball of wool through and gently tighten. The trick is not to cast off too tightly - otherwise it will be difficult to do and make a hard edge - but not too losely as it will be loopy that way - I'm usually just a little slacker than I would normally be knitting. GO FOR IT and GOOD LUCK !

scorpio1 · 05/02/2008 11:38

Hi Scorpio, hope all is well

MT, you are right (as usual ) - I really can't let it become something impossible. Had to giggle at your comment about purl stitch... haven't mastered that successfully yet either - garter stitch - no problemo.

toomuchtimeonline · 06/02/2008 11:13

Hi girls {toomuch skulks in..}

Can I rejoin you? I know I've been away months but I needed a break from the whole TTC malarkey.. I feel much happier now and even fairly positive about this month as I'm CD24.. anyway .. I missed you all ..

{toomuch skuttles off to catch up and hopes she's allowed back in..}

mistlethrush · 06/02/2008 12:16

Hi Toomuch! How are you. We need a few more people back here - its been a bit quiet. Mostly only knitting news!

hobnobs · 06/02/2008 13:40

Hello. Nothing much to report here - am feeling very premenstrual and a bit down about it all at the moment so have no doubt that CD1 is just round the corner at the weekend . Amazing how much I seem to change over the course of a month. Ready I admire your optimism and positive attitude - keep it up. Hello Toomuch I think I remember your name from the months when I lurked on the TTC No 1 threads last year - glad you're feeling positive.

toomuchtimeonline · 06/02/2008 14:09

Hey MT How's things? Glad to hear the knitting has been going well - it sounds as if a few of you have been knitting lots of cute things - I need to catch back up with you all - I particularly love Nomore's uggs p.e. good luck with your appointment tomorrow - how's things going? Is DH being more available for BD at the moment?

Hello Hobnobs - nice to meet you! Sounds like we may be cycle buddys as I reckon AF is just around the corner too however, I am feeling suprisingly positive this month - we BDed every day for 9 days during the operative period this month and my temping has shown the perfect chart - and I had the LH surge on the day predicted - so fingers crossed for both of us!

Ready Nomore - I missed you both - how's things?

Ready - glad to hear you're still the optimistic chick I left a few months ago (I was rolling on the floor at the story about your poor dh and his sperm test.. I could just picture you in the car looking at your watch ) Any news on the job yet?

Nomore - Sorry to hear your CD1 - Did I read right that you're going down the IVF route now? How does that all work - how long will it take etc?

Scorpio - Can't believe you are due in April - how time has flown!! You look absolutely amazing in your photos! Glad you had such a good day

Sybil - How are things with you hon?

Big wave to Gilly - not long till your hospital appointment - how's everything with you?

Poppy, LondonLottie and everyone else - huge waves!!

.. It's good to be back!!

Afternoon beauties How are we all?

I have just treated myself to a brew (ticktock rooibos, naturally ) and a sliver of Christmas cake. DH assures me that it is still edible ? I only eat it for the marzipan and icing anyhow ? you should see my face when I eat the actual cake part

MT, pmsl at the thought of you visually knitting at your desk The things we do for each other on this thread

Wooo!! Toomuch, so lovely to see you back. How are things? Yes ? it was a bit like that with the Sperm Run me clock watching, revving the engine
I got the job offer yesterday, subject to health check and security clearance, it?s mine , chuffed. Not sure when I start yet, but it?s something to look forward to.

Nomore, hugs thinking of you.

Hobnobs, sorry that you are feeling low, sending big hugs. You can have some of my positivity if you like , I have waaaaay more than I really need. It really is amazing how much our moods change over the course of the month, those hormones have a lot to answer for!! Hang in there, flower!

Gilly, glad things are busy at work, helps to keep your mind from wandering onto ttc, hopefully? We do miss you though, so catch up when you can ? glad you are getting the chance to lurk though

Big hello to everyone else.

toomuchtimeonline · 06/02/2008 16:26
