Especially for you
I wanna let you know what I was going through
All the time we were apart
I thought of you
You were in my heart
My love never changed
I still feel the same

Especially for you
I wanna tell you I was feeling that way too
And if dreams were wings, you know
I would have flown to you
To be where you are
No matter how far
And now that I'm next to you

No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Especially for you
I wanna tell you, you mean all the world to me
How I'm certain that our love was meant to be
You changed my life
You showed me the way
And now that I'm next to you

I've waited long enough to find you
I wanna put all the hurt behind you
And I wanna bring out all the love inside you, oh

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

You were in my heart
My love never changed
No more dreaming about tomorrow
Forget the loneliness and the sorrow
I've got to say
It's all because of you

And now we're back together, together
I wanna show you my heart is oh so true
And all the love I have is
Especially for you

Good luck on Saturday Scorpio!!!!!!

rattling · 17/01/2008 12:48

Got a great knitting book for christmas. Then saw results on Graham Norton best of show - knitted famous characters, Jackie Chan, Chairman Mao, The Beatles etc. Mostly done by dressing up appropriately but pretty funny. I'm going to try the Godzilla. Daleks look great though.

How do I get Ugg boot pattern - have the perfect recipient due in June (does it have to be a girl do you think?)

All the very best for Saturday Scorpio, looking forward to seeing you glowing in your wedding dress. Lovely to hear that all is well. Have an amazing day!!

OOoooh MT, super impressed that you play viola , I played the oboe at school, but gave it up as I wasn?t able to practise enough at upper school. I would love to be accomplished on an instrument.

Rattling, OMG! I am appalled that someone took the time to knit Hitler, the hours of attention to detail that went into him is scary! But the others are totally hilarious.

BellaBear · 20/01/2008 20:52

Thank you lovely people. Am (just a bit) busy at the mo, Seth isn't doing too well at the feeding thing so I am expressing and feeding him today to get some breastmilk down him.

Hope you are all well, xxx

mistlethrush · 21/01/2008 09:07

Congratulations Bella - keep at it, hope that the feeding improves so its a bit easier for you very soon...

Hi nomore, ready, toomuch and the rest of the detective agenct thread peeps

Not sure if you remember me from back in October, I think. Well I started temping and taking all the advice from you ladies and I got my bfp on my birthday in Nov which was totally, TOTALLY unexpected! Had a gin and tonic in my hand at the time. Put that down pretty smartish Have endometriosis so thought it would take MUCH longer!

Unfortunately had miscarriage on Dec 1 at 5.5 wks which was horrid but trying again this month - just started another thread as not stopped bleeding for 6 weeks! Dammit!

Anyway, hope everyone is well. Am totally out of the loop but will go back and stalk the message boards for updates!

nomoremagnolia · 21/01/2008 21:20

Hi hobnobs Welcome to the gang Some of us are on the been ttc no1 for ever thread too, so feel free to swap between the two. We also frequent the sanctuary too. Nice to see your GP is being helpful. The knitting is not compulsory - a few of us decided a while back to try to learn in an attempt to take our minds off ttc.
Hello Millie too - yes I remember you. So sorry about your m/c but welcome back.
Bella Best of luck with the feeding - I'm sure he's just a bit overwhelmed by the real world. You'll both get the hang of it soon, I hope you can stick with it but don't beat yourself up if you can't. Thinking of you, Mr Bear and Seth

Hi Millie - in similar boat - mc in autumn early on - only mumsnet around when it happened as dh at rehearsal. Hope we're both luckier this year.

Hobnobs - we are definitely friendly here, do join us! I am trying for #2 at the moment (long story as to why I'm here on 'wrong' thread) - I was 37 when I had ds, after 6 year wait (ttc most of the time except about 18months when banned for medical reasons), so you're not much different!

PiggyPenguin · 22/01/2008 08:03

Hello to everyone, especially the newbies! This is definitely the thread to be on, not only are the people fantastic, but when you actually do get that bfp they make you feel welcome to stay around! I think the only downside to some of the ttc threads is you feel guilty about staying when you are pg and everyone else is still ttc, but these ladies are fabulous and are still supportive throughout the pg too!

What more could you ask for?

nomoremagnolia · 22/01/2008 09:37

Thanks sybil you're right, we are damn nice on here and like seeing you pg ladies back. What bugs me (and others too) is those who don't come back to see us. How are you anyway?

Not too sparkly today Nomore, DH managed to give me a horrible virus. He spent all last week in bed/on the sofa being useless and ill and making me look after him, and now he has swanned off back to work and left me to get on with feeling awful and looking after two (and a bit!) kids.

Still, I am feeling quite a few movements from the baby now which is lovely and I have my 20 week scan in two weeks which I am really looking forward to. I have looked at your ugg boots and felt the green face of envy, but I don't have the energy to knit at the moment. Take my advice, knit the entire wardrobe now!

nomoremagnolia · 22/01/2008 11:27

at two and a bit kids! Can you stick the tv on as a treat for the dc and give yourself a bit of time off?
How exciting that you can feel the baby, I can't wait to experience that

Who was it wanted mitten pattern? Anyway, I've dug the one I did out (has jacket and hat and blanket and mittens - Stylecraft 4693) - these mittens are very easy - they just have 3 stripes on for interest, and just pop over fists... I've only done 'normal' rather than premature size here - its the size I made up and it was fine. Meant to be done in Wondersoft DK - I think the one I used had good % cotton...
3.25 needles: cast on 31, work 14 rows 1x1 rib (k1,p1)
4mm needles:
1st row knit
2nd row purl
3rd knit
4th purl
5 knit
6 knit
These 6 rows form pattern. Work a further 10 rows in pattern.
Shape top (need to keep pattern going!):
1st row K2togtbl, K11, K2tog,K1, K2togtbl, K9, K2tog ( 27 stitches)
2nd, 4th and 6th rows in pattern
3rd row: K2togtbl, K9, K2tog, K1, K2togtbl, K9, K2tog (23 stitches)
5th row: K2togtbl, K7, K2tog, K1, K2togtbl, K7, K2tog (19 stitches)
After 6th row, cast off (the pattern says in rib, can't see why though...)

To make up, join seams at top of hand and side, Fold rib in half onto ws and slip stich loosely in position

nomoremagnolia · 22/01/2008 21:08

MT do you mean 14 rows in 1x1 rib, or 4 rows? 14 seems a lot for baby mittens (I assume they're baby ones)
this is the pattern I used

CD1 18th cycle, gutted. Will be better later, I'm sure and I will be back to welcome the newbies and I might even pose a few new questions - you never know

mistlethrush · 23/01/2008 13:43

Ready . Chin up, its a new year, lets hope something happens a bit more positive for all of us!

Nomore - ahhh - but you didn't look down to the end where it says turn the ribbing over on itself and slip stitch to the inside - so effectively only 7 rows of ribbing show - but this achieves a really nice, but soft cuff that has a bit more chance of staying on... and of course, this wasn't premie mit sized but sort of 0 - 6month size... (ie it was the right size for ds when he was born - he had hands like little mole hands - rather spade like!)
