Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.

I'm saying to myself I'm going to be relaxed in the TWW as I don't think I DTD enough and not trying to get my hopes up but I can already feel myself wishing it away. Last month I was symptom spotting like mad!
Try and keep yourself busy the next few weeks! I know easier said than done, do you have any plans?

@BWaiting no plans at all 😩 Just lots of dog walks! I was supposed to be so busy with work these next few weeks so it was perfect.
Haha don't we always start off saying we are going to be relaxed. Soon goes downhill, I had an spreadsheet of my symptoms last month 😂

@els10 a spreadsheet?? You're my kind of girl! I've started putting every single little thing into the app. Tonight my boobs feel bigger (I'm only a bcup) and I have a very airy tummy. It's probably all from O but I'm noticing it more this time around.
Ahh you'll have to find something to keep you occupied....Netflix?!

@laura2093 so sorry to hear AF arrived, it's the worst feeling. But Stay positive and treat yourself to good food, a nice bath and wine xx

Hi lovelies can I join in! 26, TTC first time, cycle number 6 😫, came off birth control august 2020 after 11 years, cycles came back pretty normal between 33-34 days apart from one month where covid struck and sent my cycle wappy but managed to get it back normal again for me, I track my ovulation using OPK & BBT & CM and I take prenatals, currently 1 dpo today so the TWW commences! I have a habit of symptom spotting & early testing but I've told myself this month I'm not going to go near a pregnancy test until day of AF 😂🙈 there's a massive covid baby boom around me at the moment with both family members & friends, just can't wait for it to be my turn 🤞🏻I had a fertility reading (if anyone believes in those) and it predicted a summer conception so who knows 🙈 sending baby dust and hugs to you all 🌈👶❤️

I came off contraception in august too, we're on a similar journey.
I've told myself I won't test and just wait for AF to arrive (or hopefully not) but I know for a fact I'll get to 9DPO and be itching 😂

Hi ladies, can I join pls. TTC no 2. Have had 4 mc in total, 3 since dd. Have been told I'll get progesterone if/when get pregnant again so have my hopes pinned on this. Have been referred to RMC but it's taking ages due to circumstances atm.
I'm 4dpo today, this is the first month we've tried since early autumn as just couldn't face it. Only managed to dtd once at the right time so not much chance but of course I'm still very impatiently waiting until I can test!
Let's hope this thread sees lots of sticky bfps.

@jeds55 the cb you cant see on pic but its a very very faint plus sign. The frer came up straight away before the control line. I also did an Internet cheapie strip that was a squinter I dont know why I tested i had belly ache. And assumed I hadn't ovulated because my opks didn't show a peak

Cycle twins! Once I get past the 7 day mark I feel like the mean girls moment where she senses the weather with her boobs but mines isit pregnancy isit AF brewing 😂🙈 it's nice to hear that you've been off birth control same time too! I mentioned to my hubs today that I don't want to go back on it ever again as i actually feel normal again and was over the moon that my cycle has seemed to come back pretty normal under the effects of long term use! Have you been doing anything different this cycle? We've done the SMEP plan, thank god we've got a rest today 😂😂😂😂 I'm pooofed!! X

Hi all. I’m such a newbie here but would love it if I could join!
I’m 35 and we are TTC #1. This is our first month of trying and tracking. I finished period on the 5th and tested with the clear blue smiley thing on the 8th as per instructions, it gave me a blank reading as expected. The next day on the 9th it gave me a solid smiley. I wasn’t expecting that at all, I was thinking it would go to flashing first. I have also been testing with OPK strips and I think I peaked yesterday too, but with only 2 days of data it’s really difficult to tell what’s going on but I’ve barely got any line on them now so have I ovulated do you think? I’m normally pretty regularly on a 25 day cycle.
Really happy to meet you all and it looks like a couple of you are at exactly the same part of the cycle as me ☺️ Sending love ❤️

I did a 3rd test because the clear blue made me nervous I did an asda test so now I feel better lol

Welcome sweetheart! Pretty much sounds like you've ovulated from what you've said do you track your CM & BBT to also help confirm? If it wasn't for this group I never realised how much things you need to know when TTC, I'm on 2 DPO today, promising to take a new angle of no symptom spotting and no early testing... pigs might fly first like 😂😂😂

3dpo today, woke up feeling quite chill. Cycle #2 and I don't think it's worked this month, although that's what I'm telling myself to avoid the disappointment.
I convinced myself last month that I had all the symptoms under the sun but what was I thinking that it'll work first time? Haha silly billy.
I know the closer I get to 10DPO I'll be freaking out itching to test. Does anyone want to help make sure I DO NOT test unless AF is late?? 😩😩

3dpo today, woke up feeling quite chill. Cycle #2 and I don't think it's worked this month, although that's what I'm telling myself to avoid the disappointment. I convinced myself last month that I had all the symptoms under the sun but what was I thinking that it'll work first time? Haha silly billy. 2 DPO for me we can make a pact to take on the day of predicted AF! Mine is due 23rd, until then I've sworn myself to keep myself busy watching Netflix & random shows on days off at work to try and take my mind away from google & symptom spotting 😂 I'm hooked on watching married at first site Australia! Love light hearted shows like it :) did you do anything differently this cycle than previous? We tried SMEP this month 🤞🏻X

@bwaiting thank you 😊 my advice to all of you is dont take the OPK as gospel! This is my 1st real cycle after pill withdrawal bleed and I didn't get a peak once never above 0.5 so assumed I hadn't ovulated and I obviously did. And I'm not due AF until Monday and Already got positives so I must have ovulated early. Earlier than the app suggested good luck 👍

@kaylsd yes I'm with you, no testing before!! I'm also due AF on the 23rd according to my app that brought it forward once I added my O date. Although it could be the 25th according to my prediction.
This month I used OPK's although I bought the CB a little late so two days were blank and the 3rd day was a solid smiley and my cheapies also were dark that day too so I think O was CD12. I have a 9yo so planning lots of walks and cooking with him as he enjoys that and it takes up a lot of our evening. The problem I have is when I'm working everyday, sat at home, at my desk, stuck to google!!!

We are on cycle 6 this month! It's abit of a funny cycle of how to count it though, I stopped the pill back in august 2020 and was really casual of if it happens it happens.. we got married just before lockdown 3.0 in November as we've been together 6 year and really wanted to get married so we snuck in a 15 guests lockdown church wedding and postponed our Receiption to the anniversary this year but 2 week after wedding me and hubs got covid so when I was fertile we were so poorly it was just non existent, December I had an anvolatory month from being poorly with covid and January my hub had food poisoning and lost 2 and half stone in 2 week when I was fertile, so this month has been the first proper month in a while that I've been able to make most of it all 😂🙈! If we didn't have bad luck I think we wouldn't have any at all! We just tried the SMEP method this month and managed to DTD on the important days and prior so feeling positive 🤞🏻 did you try anything different? I can tell you every day what get closer now don't test be strong we've got this since you may be the same testing date as me! Hehe X

@kaylsd sounds like you've been on a crazy journey with TTC. Congratulations on your wedding
I also had covid, but that was back in April 2020 and I was wiped out for about 12 weeks on and off. Thankfully we weren't TTC because it just never would have happened. Im glad you had a quick recovery
I'm hoping the convenience plus has helped things get to the places they need to be! I'm worried though as we didn't DTD the two days before O. If it doesn't work this month then I think I will try the SMEP method.
I know this sounds weird but it'll be nice to have someone to test with if AF doesn't arrive before the 23rd.
Also yes, I love a light hearted watch!! Married at first sight is on my list but I just don't know when to fit it in atm! x
