Hi ladies anyone want to join me in a thread to chat about ttc this month? I’m currently on CD2.
A bit about me.

I’m 28 and TTC baby number 1. We’ve been trying for a year and a half now, I had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 so hoping the next will stick. I’ve been given new medication to try next time.
@kaylsd oh I've never heard of those! I'll write them down maybe I should be learning about all this stuff lol. They would be great for me too as my O day is usually CD21! My longest cycle has been about 50 odd days I think and my shortest 29 🤦‍♀️
Scrap that, just read a study linked towards long term consumption of SI supplements and cancerous growth developments 🙄 back to the drawing board lol! Xx

minthumbugs · 17/03/2021 14:13

@kaylsd oh god! Haha maybe not then

lucea87 · 17/03/2021 14:17

Welcome back @kaylsd ! Hope you caught that egg!!

I've had symptoms on and off, trying desperately not to read into anything. Was getting my hopes up with sore boobs but they aren't as bad today so starting to think it was AF but Friday I will be FRER-ing. I'll make sure not too drink too much during the day and especially afternoon/evening tomorrow so it's a nice strong wee. I'm normally a big drinker - coffee in the AM, 3 (caffeine free) green teas, a peppermint tea plus loads of water 😂😂 so I'm gonna try and really cut back on that tomorrow.

I love coffee, I'm going to switch to decaf once I've used all my coffee pods up for my machine so they don't get put to waste! Decided to start eating healthy and have a treat day every other week (let's see how long it'll last last time I kept it up for about 4 days and thought bugger it where's the chocolate 😂) but I stepped on the scales today and it says I've placed 13 pounds since my last weigh in, so if it isn't a kick up the bottom I don't know what is! Thanks for your warm welcome back, I had a lot to catch up on and I didn't want to seem ignorant with you all :') I'm hoping I've caught the egg too but for some reason this month I'm not convinced that I have with only being able to find one peak OPK 🤔

Has your cycles been long because of contraception? I can't remember what they were like pre pill life as it seems ages ago! I just feel like switching up the supplements incase they aren't working for me! I see the conceive plus has good reviews & the seven seas ones but they just like they are a mixture of the same ingredients 🤔 I try not to worry about the long cycle thing aslong as my LP is within range 🤞🏻

lucea87 · 17/03/2021 15:05

@kaylsd I use the seven seas! I checked my coffee pods, I have Nespresso, mainly vanilla and caramel and they are 62/66mg coffee and you're allowed 200mg a day so I figured one a day would be ok xx

minthumbugs · 17/03/2021 15:09

@kaylsd I honestly don't know why they're so long! I can't remember what they were like before going on the pill either. My first pregnancy was ectopic (conceived WHILE I was on the pill) and they've been like that ever since. X

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 15:34

@lucea87 and @Iloveoreos everythingthing crossed for you. Hold tight! It can take a while for anything to show up on the ICheapies! So much love.

@minthumbugs I'm feeling really guilty now about the 3 ciders I had and all the crappy food but at least it was after the bleed so, if it has been MC, I can't blame myself! This thread has meant so much to me. My DH isn't really a man to express himself or know what to do when I'm sad but he's been actually really great. Brought me a big mug of tea this morning for when I got our the shower and has checked in on me when normally he'd have his phone off so that's nice. Did you know that @lucea87 and I actually do know each other IRL we just hadn't spoken for over 15 years!

Missed you @kaylsd thanks for lovely reply! Definitely sounds like you ovulated this time! I've heard of the soy isoflavones as well and thought about them but I wasn't sure it was right for me. I definitely think the Myo Inositol helped me get the BFP. Now I just need to work out how to get it to stick! Also first month with the fertil-lily cup which a few on here recommended. I know there's probably nothing coming from this but it's the first double line I've seen ever so that's an improvement! It could have been implantation bleed. I definitely thought it was to start with but then it was red and clots tmi but hoping the nurse in you will forgive me! I heard that means it isn't IB. Good luck with the healthy eating. I've been so bad since coming back to school.

@slinks8113 the earliest appointment for me was Tuesday and I'm expecting not to have a positive still then since my temperature is so low. I wouldn't have expected to see a heartbeat or anything. I'm anticipating just emptiness but I am very confused. What was your early scan for lovely? So sad you saw the heartbeat and then MC. I don't think this is so bad as I was convinced about my period. How are you doing? Blank circle again today? 🐖🐖

So, got to wait until Tuesday for any more news but think I might get some pregnancy tests that aren't cheap ones on my way home.

@lucea87 sure you don't have to reduce drinks day before you do FRER. Never heard of this!?

Lots of love to you all. How I'm going to keep sane between now and Tuesday is beyond me. Had more ewcm type stuff today but with a tinge of spotting. Confused doesn't really cut it 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 15:35

@minthumbugs ectopic sounds scary. How did you find out?

Slinks8113 · 17/03/2021 15:51

@CycloGoose aw that's a bit rubbish, long time to wait but we're all here for you if you need us! I had a scan because I was getting pain in my shoulder and side with shortness of breath so went to a and e and they originally thought I had a lung clot which is apparently quite common in pregnancy. Had all the tests to rule that out and then got sent to EPU to rule out ectopic. Yes it was heartbreaking to see the heartbeat in the first instance, we saw it again at a private scan at about 9 weeks and then it was at 11 for the NIPT that it wasn't there anymore :( I really wouldn't worry about anything you've done with drinking etc, that early on has no impact.
Still static circle for me but we're getting the hot tub out at the weekend and going to have a bit of a date night so hopefully start seeing a flashy smiley by then! X

minthumbugs · 17/03/2021 16:21

@CycloGoose do not feel bad about the drinks AT ALL! None of these things are ever our fault - it's taken me a while to come to terms with that but it's true. Fingers crossed for you that it all goes well, all that waiting to find out is horrible.

Ectopic was pretty scary! I had a terrible pain during the night one night and my partner asked if I could be pregnant, told him no chance but when the pain didn't go away I took a test to rule it out because I knew the doctor would ask me and thank god he said that! I had one sided pain and shoulder pain that came after that but the hospital sent me home. Eventually I couldn't stand the pain, was taken back in and found out through a scan. It was an ordeal but I'm very lucky. X

When you took that Myo supplement did you take stuff along side of it or just that alone with like folic acid?

I'm sorry that your in abit of a limbo land, when I was back on the wards the EPU team at my place was so lovely and warming and really supportive no matter what the outcome will be, I'm hoping for the positive outcome for you sweetheart but until then we are here for you, if you want to rant or cry or swear at the world for time going slow, this is your channel to vent any emotions to make that wait until your EPU appointment that little bit more bearable! 😘🌈🤞🏻

Don't worry about the TMI you'd be surprised with the stuff I've seen, I'm yet to come across something what I think oh that's grim n I've seen and heard a lot 🙈 one example to make you think 😬 someone who shoved a lightbulb up their tup and got it stuck🙈🙈🙈 oh how people never fail to surprise me what they get their kicks out of!

If I was local to you I'd give you my stash of internet cheapies I've got about 30 in my bathroom draw as every time I get a new set of OPK they come with HPT but I've been good last month and didn't go crazy testing ;)

kaylsd · 17/03/2021 16:40

I never realised that they are only that amount! I have the exact same chick makes me feel that little bit less guilty for my coffee issue :p!

How do you feel with the seven seas? I take the preg care ones and I swear the tablet has a strange gravy taste to it 😂 saying that it could be my tastebuds being off it from my covid stent last year, do you take anymore or just that on itself :)?

kaylsd · 17/03/2021 16:42

My heart goes out to you having an ectopic pregnancy, I've nursed quite a few lady's who have experienced the same and it's heartbreaking :( sending hugs & baby dust for my fellow long cycle buddy 😘 xxx

minthumbugs · 17/03/2021 16:46

@kaylsd it was a very frightening time, I had never even heard of it before! But I always remember the staff who looked after me, I wish I had told them at the time how much it meant to be but I don't think I had a coherent thought in my head at the time lol, so I'm sure you will have so many ladies out there who remember your kindness. Loaaaads of baby dust back at you Xxx

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 16:50

Oh @Slinks8113 that sounds awful. I can't bear the thought of you being so delighted and then losing your precious. You'll have your rainbow baby soon 🌈 we're all willing it for you.

Exciting for the hot tub! The people who owned our house before us had one but they sound so expensive to run! DH not into it. Date night sounds exactly like what you need for some pressure free baby dancing xxxx 😘😘😘

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 16:52

Oh gosh @minthumbugsbso lucky your DP thought that! I'd never have imagined it on the pill. And all this time now really wanting a baby. Did you manage to keep your tube?

😘😘😘 Sending love and baby dust

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 16:59

@kaylsd talk about a lightbulb moment 💡💡💡 🤣 poor chica.

I don't have a prepackaged one like seven seas though it would have been cheaper. I have a whole heap of stuff but I take the Myo in a powder with a fake berocca to get vit c up. I have the coq10 stuff as well.

I've got a bag full of tests but I kind of want a 'real' one now too. Do I still go to epu if I start getting negative tests?

I'm feeling really really sick just now but I think it's because of all the stress of the confusion. None of it seems to sit right.

minthumbugs · 17/03/2021 17:06

@CycloGoose I know, he really did save my life! Can't let him get too cocky though ;). Tube couldn't be saved so I'm a man down. Bodies are amazing though, when my LO was conceived the egg came from the ovary on the tubeless side. I really do have a little miracle! Xx

Slinks8113 · 17/03/2021 17:08

@CycloGoose I would go even if you get a negative to check all is ok. They will probably do an internal and they can check your ovaries etc. I can imagine the stress you must be going through, really feel for you 😘 hopefully you can get some sleep over next few days x

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 17:50

Oh my god that's a real live actual miracle! How amazing! So happy and you can do it again 😊 I'm sure 😊

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 17:51

That's good to know.

Fortunately it's pretty manic at work and all of you have helped loads xxx

Still attend EPU even if neg hunny, they'll most likely do bloods & scan to be on the safe side :)

I remember the first time I tried a berocca for first time when I was really hungover and nearly gagged on the taste of it 😂🙈 I thought it could be a miracle drink for me to make my hangover disappear but turns round it didn't have any effect on me either way! I'm tempted to switch up my normal one for the next cycle no doubt at hand, did you order your Ovusense? Has it come in handy for you or has the purpose of it gone on hold at the moment for you? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

kaylsd · 17/03/2021 18:24

That's really sweet of you to say, I've always said to myself they may not remember your name but they'll always remember how you were there for them & how I cared for them and that's the bit which means the most 😘❤️

CycloGoose · 17/03/2021 19:03

My temp on the OvuSense is really low @kaylsd so it's definitely making me think there's no little seed inside me!

It's also a bit of a boring app. Nothing fun has started happening on it yet.

You're so funny with your tastes. I love my berocca but you don't have to have the powdered inositol.

Nurses are amazing. Looked after me all night long when I was in hospital, giving me my nebulisers every 4 hours. Don't know how you do it. Takes a special person

Xxx
