Hi all, so this is my 2nd TWW / symptom spotting thread ❤️

Ovulation day for me is today; 14th Jan.
wondered if anybody else is early in their TWW or fancies keeping me company throughout?

Would love to hear your symptoms / stories 🥰

I think I'm ovulating this week but not sure as I haven't had a positive ovulation test yet!
I'm 26 and TTC our first.

@Sparkles512 ahh keep testing! Mine come on really suddenly, I'll get very faint OPK's and then all of a sudden blazing positive! We're TTC our first, too! Have you been trying for long? ❤️🥰

Hi @printedlace I am fairly sure I ovulated yesterday too. Smiley face yesterday am, and not one this morning. Going to be a long couple of weeks isn’t it. Fingers crossed for you. Same as @Sparkles512 this is my first too, and my first cycle trying so it is all new to me!

@printedlace I should be from Sunday! Though this is my second cycle also and I don't think I actually ovulated on the first. Interested to hear about symptoms so I can cross check!

This is our 2nd cycle of TTC our first. This is my first month of using ClearBlue ovulation tests and I’ve been getting flashing smiley for a couple of days now x

@ttcSam oh exciting! I got my smiley on Thursday, I think usually an egg will release anywhere from 12-36 hours after a peak reading so I'd DTD as much as possible now to cover yourself! ❤️👏🏼 how amazing that we are all TTC our first! 👶

@glow92 fingers crossed for you! I've been TTC since August now. sadly had two chemical pregnancies in that time, which is horrible. I'm really hoping that we'll get our rainbow baby soon. ❤️🤞🏼

Your static smiley soon by the sounds of it 😁 I love the clear blue tests, they're so much easier than the little cheapies as they tell you straight away yes or no!

We have been trying since end of 2019 but had a bit of a break when covid hit in March 2020.
We have been trying again for a few months I'm only using the cheap ovulation tests but think once I've used them up I will try the clear blue ones next month and see if they are a bit easier to understand!
We have been DTD as often as we can but sometimes my husband isn't in the mood and then I get a bit upset that we might miss my fertile window silly I know!
2 close friends have announced pregnancies and are due within days of each other which I'm very excited for but praying we can have our little miracle soon.

@Sparkles512 ahh I deffo recommend the clear blue, personally I just find it easier as it tells you clearly if you're in your fertile window without me having to depict lines 🤣🙈

I have finally got 2 lines on my ovulation tests today so fingers crossed I am ovulating today or tomorrow!
We have DTD every day this week which usually doesn't happen as we are both too tired but we have been off work this week.
How's everyone doing?

Hi can I join you please? We're TTC for our 2nd. I'm 3dpo I think, AF due on 28th. We've been trying since August, had a chemical last month which was so gutting. Really hoping this month is it but also trying to not get hopes up. Was keeping quite chilled up until the chemical but now just feeling so desperate to be pregnant! Hope everyone is ok x

I'm around 1DPO today I believe. Had to go to the hospital this morning for a scan on my knee but couldn't go ahead because I'm TTC, the CT scan machine can be harmful so pretty gutted that couldn't go ahead. It's snowing here like crazy! 🤣❄️

I think I'm 2/3 DPO today. I've got THE most blocked nose I think I've ever had. Not sure if I'm coming down with a nasty cold, or if it's an early symptom. There seems to be a fair bit on the internet about a blocked / stuffy nose being an early sign, as the oestrogen increases making nasal cavities swell.

@xem87 Sorry to hear about your chemical, I had one last month too and it's made me feel so desperate to be pregnant again. I was quite chilled about TTC up until then. Fingers crossed that this is our month!

Ooh @printedlace I had that in my first pregnancy. Always thought I was going to start with a cold but it never came. Hope it's a sign for you.

My only symptom at the moment is really vivid dreams, they're a bit intense! Hoping that's a good sign but might also be a result of my late night googling of symptoms and brain in overdrive about TTC!

@Fruititoots ohh did you! I thought I might be being a bit optimistic thinking it could be a sign, but that's really promising! 🥰 fingers crossed!

The vivid dreams are definitely a sign, I'm sure they are. I've had two chemicals now, and both times I have had very realistic dreams!

Morning ladies. Is it OK to join? I am also 3DPO today trying for baby no1. Been trying since last September, fell pregnant on my 3rd cycle and unfortunately had a miscarriage a couple of days after xmas. Was absolutely heartbroken. This cycle has been a bit all over the place. Usually ovulate CD12 this month it was CD18. Trying to be as chill as possible but really praying for our rainbow baby!

I came off the pill around 4 months ago and have been trying to track cycles since as I always had shorter cycles historically and wanted to know... it seems like I'm having around 23/24 day cycles at the moment which isn't dissimilar to what I was like before the pill.

This is our first month tentatively ttc... it was meant to be a case of just see what happens, so I've only been tracking on the basis of app timings, trying to track mucus and noticing things like mega bloating (is that even a thing for ovulation? My apps say so... was mega bloated earlier in the week but it's dropped now), and on that basis very loosely think I ovulated around the 12th/13th which would put me 4/5 DPO with AF due around the 26th. Notwithstanding the casual approach I can already feel myself being a bit obsessed 🙈 - pretty sure if I get a BFN this month I'll be straight on the temp tracking next month as well.

Also, no clue about at least half of the acronyms!

@printedlace about the blocked nose, I had this yesterday and wondered if I had a cold, however I've no idea where I would have picked a cold up from within these 4 walls fingers crossed!

Trying to keep my mind occupied in lock down life any tips?
When is everyone testing or are you waiting for AF to appear/not appear?

@Sparkles512 I'm gonna wait for AF to either appear or not, then give it a few days as I'm not a very regular cycle, how about you?

It's hard keeping mind off it in lockdown, do you like puzzles?

I'm usually quite a patient person, but all of a sudden I've changed and I find myself looking at tests on Amazon
