Anyone else first month ttc?

Hi guys.

I’m new here, I’m 29 (30 in May) and my boyfriend is the same. We had decided to start ttc in June time 2021 but over Christmas we both decided to ‘roll the dice’ once before and started having unprotected sex this month. I came off the pill in October time as I didn’t get on with it AT ALL.

I use Clue but only had two afs before this cycle so not sure how long my cycle actually is. We dtd most days over when the app said I was most fertile and it aligned with the cm too. I’m dry not (tmi) so I assume I’m passed it now!

With a 30 day cycle I had last month I’m due af on the 22nd but with and 35 day one (which I used to have before the pill I’d be ov around today but cm isn’t having that, well dtd anyway just in case. Then wouldn’t except af until the 27th. I’m willing it not to arrive and have decided to not even contemplate a test until the end of the month if af hasn’t arrived.

Just wondered who else is trying and in the first few months? I can’t help but reading everything I can find about early signs and feel like when we start trying properly in the few months I might go crazy!!

How are you finding it?

@everysunrise mine was exactly the same which has NEVER happened before. I guess we’ll never know! Fingers crossed for this month!

@Glenpatrick nothing new. I've been on the vits for a few months now, so don't think it can be that. I have no explanation, just praying it was late ovulation! I thought taking the test yesterday would help me 'relax' so if it was negative I would come on. Who knows!

Urgh hubby gone to bed early not feeling well and away tomorrow and tomorrow night so feel abit disappointed I need to just hope that last night was enough but not feeling confident now

@mrssunshinexxx oh no! Hope he’s ok but also annoying you can’t dtd. But I bet last night was ok, his swimmer could still be there :)

I think the rational side of my brain knows it's enough of a chance last night and I ovulated this morn so the sperm was literally there waiting for the egg but the irrational part of my brain wanted to do it today and tomorrow to be fully covered @Grace185 TTC makes you crazy !

@everysunrise I’ve been on folic acid for 1 month and just started vit D.

@Grace185 Sure...

  1. Easy@home OPKs from last day of AF to 6 days after my "peak". I wanted to make sure LH levels dropped back down before stopping daily tests.
  2. Pre natal vitamins. I was taking Tesco's own but switched to pregnacare 2/3 weeks ago
  3. "conceive plus" lube (not the internal one)
  4. Cut down caffeine significantly. I will have maybe one cup of tea per day now.
  5. DTD around fertile window- I have attached a picture so you can see when. We tried to DTD on ovulation day but OH was so worn out that he couldn't finish!😂

@mrssunshinexxx I didn't have lots of symptoms...

  1. Really thirsty from 6-9DPO. No matter how much I drank, my mouth was like the Sahara desert! 😂
  2. Tender armpits for the last 5 days
  3. bloated but this is pretty normal for me
  4. My resting heart rate kept increasing- for some women that's a sign but I wasn't convinced 🤷‍♀️

I’m back, currently on day 1 of 2WW - hope it goes quick. We DTD day before ovulation and today, I know it’s 1 day post ovulation but just fancied it 🤣 anyone else know if it’s all possible to catch 1dpo???? Haha

@mrssunshinexxx AF was due 10 days ago... lol... but had BFNs right up to the weekend when I last tested!! Which is why I can't believe the line has suddenly shown up....
