Tww torture.....

Anyone else feeling the torture?! This is only my first cycle but it took a long time to make the decision after a traumatic experience with DD. Now I’m just anxious to know so I can prepare myself I guess.
Feeling tired but could I hell sleep last night! Didn’t get to sleep until almost 5am and only slept for 3hrs
Boobs are aching a bit and I’ve had cramp and backache for a few days. App says 6dpo but I do tend to ovulate early from what I remember so could be more than that.
Ordered tests online to make myself wait til they get here before I test. My attempt to try and drag out the time

@Penguinmumma I'm doing the same with my husband and playing down any chance of a positive. I feel a responsibility not to stress him out with my stress, so it does feel quite lonely.

@LAgeDeRaisin it does get so lonely. Men have it so easy with ttc really. Wine in stock ready for Wednesday too. Hoping I can’t drink it! Lol. My lower abdomen feels odd today. Bloated but not. If that makes sense.

Ohhh I'm sure it's not! And absolutely men have it so easy with ttc (and with a lot of things!)

I don't want to tell friends we're trying either because it puts extra pressure on and it feels all the worse if it doesn't happen (even though we've just started). Mumsnet is such a source of comfort when you're with others in the same boat.

I half wish I'd started a few months earlier but I didn't want to have morning sickness trying to treat patients in the peak of the second wave.

At least by the time we all have our lovely babies the country will be in a bit less of a state!! Lunches and coffee out again!

I've been an emotional mess today. Just crying at the tv/movie. I think I'm just stressed out tbh.

@LAgeDeRaisin thankfully the country im in has eliminated covid and kept it out so apart from closed borders, we’re running business as usual. Not sure how I’d cope in the UK with all the lockdowns as I need so much monitoring when pregnant with the risks (7 mc and history of surgery on my cervix)

We’ve told no-one. Barely discuss it with DH with everything he’s had going on (3 bereavements in the space of 6 weeks and moving house) so here is my only place to chat really.

@Penguinmumma Sorry to hear about your miscarriages and your husband's losses. Harder to have sex too when there's a lot of stresses and grief.

That's fortunate with your covid situation. I've pinned a lot of hope on the vaccines for here and am just trying to deal with work on a day to day basis.

Can't sleep; Wish I could fast forward a few days and do another test. I feel in desperate need of some good news amid all the death

I hope it's ok that I join. Second month TTC cycle and this TWW is hard! I am roughly 5dpo have only been tracking with Flo app as want to just see how things go... but two days ago I started feeling really nauseous and it hasn't really gone away at all now. So there days of nausea and I feel like my sense of smell is heightened.

I know it's way to early to test but it's so hard to resist!

@Kittysw welcome and yes! It really is damn hard! For me it’s the worst part of a cycle. At least the other parts you have stuff going on and stuff to plan so to speak. I’m 11dpo today and have tested all with bfn. Hold off as long as you can or it tortures you more 😩

Can anyone else see this? Is it the tiniest line or an evaporation line? It was taken at the 3 minute mark with FMU. Got my phone brightness up to the max 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Think it was an evaporation line as it's gone now 🙄

I tested this morning 11dpo still bfn. Now feeling bloated like i normally do before AF due on 12th

Same for me @rosegold33 😩 so frustrating! I feel different to how I normally do before af but I’m probably causing it cos I’m so focused on it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ahhh I'm going crazy 5dpo and I'm symptom spotting like mad! I never thought I would be like this but last night I was convinced I was having implantation pains but I literally just had indigestion and really needed to fart! This is only month one I don't know how I'm going to do this without it taking over! Period due on Thursday I have a really short Luteal phase so I'm going to try and wait to rest until then at the earliest

Eek guys I did another two tests this morning including the digital one and I’m definitely pregnant 🥰🥰 This is my first so feeling super scared but excited! xxx

@CJ2021 congratulations!! What cycle is this for you? How many dpo are you today?

Aww @MayDay27 it's totally natural to feel like that even if it's all in our heads! I'm the same. It's a really emotional time and understandable to be really sensitive to perceived symptoms. Hang in there- it could be your month

Somebody posted this on my thread about testing a few days before AF and I just thought... why be so negative. Everybody knows the day of the missed period is more accurate. :(

@Penguinmumma Thanks, its so hard to just keep waiting. I haven't got any tests in the house just so that I'm not tempted to try early. Still feeling constant nausea but am trying my hardest not to read into it.

@Kittysw I’ve got two left. Thought I had a squinter this morning but think I imagined it. Won’t have time to do one tomorrow morning as I’m at work but off Tuesday so will now try and hold off until then.

I think im getting more AF symptons. Ill test tomorrow and see how it goes.

@rosegold33 af due on the 12th for me. Driving me insane now. Moving house too which should distract me but I have no energy for it at all.
