@unCliche well we'll see tomorrow if today was O day 😊 I def wouldn't count it as spotting if it doesn't emerge from you on its own 🤣 maybe don't poke around up there for a cycle and see if it comes out on its own 🙈
No idea really how people are reacting to the rules elsewhere in Scotland but nobody is rioting in my village anyway! I guess people are just getting on with it. There's always a few numpties but most people seem to have enough sense not to want to get covid. I sure don't want to risk getting long covid, sounds awful. How's things in your part of the world?

@HerringGull woooo onto the 2 week wait! What are the tighter restrictions? We just seem to follow Scotland’s lead so I’m sure it will be the same here soon haha!!

Never had o spotting either girls but can’t see how It could be a bad thing- wooohooo for eggs being released lol!!

@unCliche well no O yesterday. I got another tiny speck of blood this morning so who knows what it is. Maybe we were a bit too energetic in bed! 🙈

@EllyNC no idea what the new rules are tbh. They won't affect me though; all I do is go for walks with DH and go shopping once a week... not much they can restrict there eh! I guess they could prevent people meeting a friend for exercise, so maybe that's what they've done.

@HerringGull I didn't as a general rule spot before AF but I did occasionally after s*x.. But I don't think there would be anything wrong if you did spot as a sign of ovulation!

@EllyNC The early scan is worth the money as I bet you know. What week will you be by the time you have the scan!

@HerringGull maybe you're right! I haven't been checking for CM this cycle so at least if I do internally spot, I won't know! 😆
I can't Imagine a village being a place where people would start riots anyway! DH and I went for a walk through town last weekend and it was packed so not entirely sure if people are following the rules!

Hehe! At least you're having your fun. Feels like DH and I have barely touched each other this cycle 😅 You don't do OPKs do you? That would be the only way to get an advance warning of ovulation. But if you're having all the signs then it must be imminent!!

I think the major one is the working from home one as many people who WFH last lockdown have been made to resume working in the office this lockdown and Scotland are saying if you WFH last lockdown, you need to WFH this lockdown too.

My temps increased to the highest ever today! Thought it would start levelling out, but nope! Another thing to throw me off! I've also been feeling so nauseous but I think it was because I was unwell two days ago and I'm still recovering 🤢

@unCliche that chart looks awesome! How does it compare to your previous charts?
I don't do opks, no. Don't think it's worth it for me, as we DTD around every other day anyway and I always get ewcm. Maybe today is O day, but def tomorrow at latest 😊

@HerringGull Thanks! Last cycle, my temps maxed out at 10dpo (36.83) then started falling from 11dpo, which is what I'm expecting tomorrow. Previous cycles I've only ever really maxed out around 36.60. The vitamins must be working!
Let's hope it's today, then you can finally begin the TWW! Do you find each TWW progressively harder or easier or the same as the last? I've felt pretty chill this cycle tbh. My luteal phase insomnia isn't as bad either (maybe because I know there's little chance of conceiving this cycle!)

@unCliche so tomorrow you reckon it will drop if AF's coming? A bit scary! It's good that you've kind of reconciled yourself that it won't be this cycle, then you won't be sooo disappointed hopefully. You did DTD on O day though so think you do have a chance, unless you O'd at like 6am 🤣
I don't actually mind most of the tww, it's just the last couple of days that are hard. I think I'm happier thinking I might be preg, than knowing I'm def not like in the first half of the cycle. Prob just my weird brain though!

@HerringGull I was actually the same! The first 10 days or so of thinking I could be pregnant was fine, it was when I got to AF territory I’d hate it 🤣

@Cc7750 By my LMP I should be about 7.5 weeks by then, but I think more likely 7! Originally booked it for this weekend but then decided I didn’t want to risk not seeing anything because it was too early and getting in a panic!!! Defo agree, had an early scan with DS and it was a) just beautiful and b) helped my anxiety a bit!

@HerringGull yeah, there's probably a good chance my temps will fall tomorrow 😅 I agree about the last few days being torture. Last cycle my anxiety was through the roof and I was awake for a whole 24 hours. That's why I'm really trying to relax this cycle.
@EllyNC & @Cc7750 what are your due dates?

@unCliche 25th August but the lady said the date could move to 5 days either way on the 12week scan due to growth!

So either the youngest or the oldest in the year! Pros and cons to both I suppose!

Okay @unCliche, here's hoping for a good chilled night's sleep (and another high temp in the morning)! 🤞

@unCliche think mine is roughly Sept 9th but am sure that will change! Ds’s changed by almost a week From the ‘predicted’ When we had a scan at about 7 weeks!

@EllyNC Oh it really could go either way!! Which would you prefer? Younger or oldest in the year? Was your last child born earlier or later than their due date?

EllyNC Yours will definitely be one of the oldest in the year if you due date doesn't change much!! But one week either side would still mean a September baby anyway 😁

Normally I would say oldest BUT my best friend is due next week, another one April and one June! So August would mean all the same school year. I think if I’m honest I’m wishing for youngest..

@EllyNC Sept 7 is good, as schools started. I knew a couple of people sept 1-3 and always felt bad as their BD was always that 1/2 days before we started term.
Are you expecting your date to move forward by a week or back (I’m guessing forward?). The scanner said mine could move back or forward by 5 days at the 12week scan depending on growth

@Cc7750 @unCliche I think I ovulated a little late so I reckon my due date will be moved back a few days! DS was born late August so I’d rather it get moved back tbh, would love to keep that as his time if that makes sense!!! Plus I do sometimes get sad that I’ll lose that extra year of him being home with me because he’ll go to school so early!! Haha!!

@unCliche how was your temp this morning?
I've still not O'd, argh! Only cd14 today so it's not late, it's just that I've had ewcm for a week now!

@EllyNC can't you choose to keep your child back a year if their birthday falls near the end of the school year? There were a couple of people in my year at school who technically belonged in the year above, and nobody thought it was weird. Although the school year for birthdays runs March to February so it's slightly different right enough. Their birthdays were Jan and Feb.

@Cc7750 It'll be amazing if your child was in the same year group as them, then they could all hang out together! But I think I'd also love that extra year at home too!! Either way, whatever happens, they'll still have loads of people around them who love them!!

@EllyNC Hehe I get that! No one wants to have to share the attention on their birthday with someone else!

@Pudding01 I definitely agree that having a relaxed month really helps! I've felt so zen about the whole thing, although I still get the occasional heart palpitation! Definitely continue to enjoy the relaxation!
