@coffeewithmilk glad to hear from you and that you are home with your husband and puppy. Soak up all the cuddles you need and let yourself feel everything you need to feel. Thinking of you and hope you hear from the ivf clinic soon!!

Forgot to do my bloody temp!!! Arghhh! Although I guess if I got a positive opk yesterday, would it be tomorrow I saw the rise, or today? So mad at myself hahah

@EllyNC don’t beat yourself up about it, you’ve DTD your LH strip gave a high. It’s so bloody hard to temp with waking up early, needing a wee, tired and forgetting! I think mine went up for a couple of days after Ovulation so tomorrow temp will be as good as!

And you know what prune juice isn’t too bad, have necked a bottle and I sh*t you not (excuse the pun ha) it hasn’t worked yet but it will.. but £6.50 that is ridic, although that’s why it prob didn’t taste too bad. I’m off to tesco for the cheap stuff

@AlisonWhite o hun this isn’t nice for you, have they said you just have to go with it, have they given you any indication when it will stop or how long it could go on for?

@coffeewithmilk hey, doesn’t make what’s happened better but I am pleased you are home and pets seem to sense emotions and I’m sure your puppy won’t leave you alone x 2021 will be a better year all round!

Now I know @EllyNC has one DS (hence the name of this group) but who else already has a little family and small people around for Xmas?
(My niece is 9 months but she’ll be more interested in the wrapping paper than presents)

Did a digital just to monitor what’s going on but I assume you stop temping now? Or rephrase I need to stop as it could become an obsession

@Cc7750 haha with DS I did tests every other day for about 3 weeks- until DH told
Me I had to stop!! Haha! Are you feeling okay still, other than the constipation? Glad the prune juice wasn’t too bad 🤣 hope it works!!

@EllyNC I assume so, as the temp went up. I could have caught it late though as only had enough to test in the mornings. So are you in the tww now?

@coffeewithmilk Sending you lots of hugs to add to all the love you're getting at home. How you're feeling is completely understandable so take whatever time you need to just feel everything. We're always still here for you.

Oh no that sucks @EllyNC, hopefully FF will go by your +ve OPK to select the right ovulation date for you. That's what it usually does for me as I'm a slow riser and never get a jumps in temp after ovulation

@Pudding01 I love that you have a little one to spend Christmas with, I think that'll be the dream for most of us next Christmas. It must be amazing for you as a mother seeing how excited she gets?

My temps went up??? I did an IC this morning and it was a BFN so I don't want to waste my FRER on a BFN.

@unCliche I'm not going to lie, having a little one really brings out your inner child with stuff like this & puts the magic back in to Christmas, as cheesy as that sounds! This year she fully understands Santa and is very curious about everything. The years before her face would light up with all presents and decorations ❤ Just need to watch the pup doesn't shred the presents Xmas eve!!

I am crossing everything for you! Those temps are promising so far. Don't worry about BFN yet, it's still early days x

@unCliche my 10dpo was practically a negative, maybe the faintest of lines when I changed the contrast! And even 11/12.. but when I did a FR it was much clearer (still faint but def a better result).. You could very easily still get a BFP!

And ladies no idea if any of you are London or Kent but I feel for you if you are, Tier 4 sounds like Xmas has been cancelled.
Brighton has missed this tier but I think it will follow soon!

@Pudding01 I definitely feel that as an adult, Christmas has lost its magic, I'm glad you're able to have that again with your little one. Hehe she must be so excited to get a present from Santa. I hope he brings her something nice! And the puppy too - he shouldn't get left out of unwrapping gifts!

@Cc7750 I'll probably have a better chance of a BFP at 12-14dpo so if AF doesn't start by then, I'll be trying with a FRER. But thank you, makes me feel as though I may still have a chance. Did you have any spotting and what was it like? I had the tiniest bit briefly and thought it would continue like it did last cycle but it seems to have stopped. I'll still expect AF tomorrow either way.

I'm in Tier 4! We were planning on going to my parents for Christmas but now we're not sure what to do! You're so lucky!

Awww @unCliche I’m so sorry, and to everyone else in tier 4 or who’s plans have been cancelled. This is so so so rubbish!! I’m tier 2 but an hour from where we were going to xmas with my in-laws so bit of a more complicated day now! Just trying to cling to the fact it will hopefully be better in the long run and Fingers crossed means we avoid another full lockdown? But I am so so sad for everyone in t4 or who will now be alone for Xmas ☹️ Hope everyone is ok! ☹️
This has made me want a bfp this month even more, would be lovely to go into next year with some good news!!!! Are you going to test tomorrow then, If no AF, or hold out to use the FRER??

@unCliche- so glow said I ovulated on the 3/4th and fermo said 2nd. I’m showing you glow as it highlighted my recorded spotting. Glow says I spotted 11-14dpo but I think it was 10-13. Either way 1st day pink cm. 2nd day brown cm / dark spotting only when wiping and not on pad. 3rd day one heavier wipe then it stopped completely. I was looking for a implantation dip in temp but according to glow it would be 14dpo and even 13dpo is late so I don’t think I had a true temp dip. I thought I was spotting due to AF coming.

I can’t promise you a BFP but I can promise you are not out of the mix yet! I will happily put my cheapie 10dpo result if you want? I haven’t incase you’d rather not see it as there was something but tbh it is so faint you could think it was a evap or indent. I have daily results as obvs you become a complete lunatic and test everyday ha!

It's going to be really tough for everyone, but at least it's (supposedly) only for three weeks, then back to something less severe. All I do in January anyway is try to walk off the Christmas chocolate! So for me it won't make much difference. It was going to be a weird Christmas anyway; I guess now it's just weirder. But for people who have lost loved ones this year or who are on their own and now can't meet anyone I think it will be really hard :(

@unCliche agree with @Cc7750 - don't think a BFN is at all conclusive this early. Did you dare test this morning or are you waiting another day so you can rely on the result a bit more? Did your temp stay up this morning? x

Hey ladies, just checking in. How are you all? My cramps have gone down to one a day which is so much better but I am sickly starving which is difficult as I am such a foodie.
Also in Tier4 so all the presents taking up my house for my family have nowhere to go. Glad we hadn't bought the full Shabang of food yet lol.

@AlisonWhite great news about cramps! So what’s the next steps do you need to see doctor again now? Such a shame about Xmas and so sad for so many people. I shouldn’t moan as there are so many people literally on their own. Brighton is totally surrounded by tier 4 at every angle so I give it a week before we are in this as well.

But as @HerringGull Jan is a write off and sofa month anyway!

@Cc7750 discharged from early p unit. Have phone call with midwife tomorrow then wait for 12 week scan. Had a little spotting this morn so trying not to panic. I had implantation bleeding at start so hoping just a blood vessel.
Hopefully the 4 doesn't hit Brighton, although it sounds like whole UK lockdown imminent in Jan.

I remembered to temp this morning lol- was on the higher side but my temps have been up and down when I look at my chart. So who knows! Do people’s tend to go way up in one day or gradually?? I’m going to just roll with that I’m 1 dpo, lol!

@EllyNC Oh no, does that mean you won't be spending Christmas with the in-laws then? This whole thing is so frustrating. @HerringGullI haven't tested today. I'm waiting to see if AF shows up as last cycle's LP was 10 days so based on that, I'm due today.

Thanks for sharing your chart @Cc7750. It helps to see what others have experienced. My temp went down slightly today but looking at your chart, it probably doesn't matter!

@AlisonWhite brilliant news!! Hopefully you feel a little calmer about the situation. My Xmas at the moment looks normal on Xmas day and I will go to my mums but this could change at any point.

@EllyNC look at mine above, I’m no expert but I’d say mine was a gradual rise and some dips along the way! 1dpo talk about run up to Xmas nerves but look in oldern times we would have had no idea if pregnant or not so relax, I’m a believer of everything in moderation (just my opinion) so have a small glass of wine, enjoy the run up to Xmas and testing! I won’t lie I will

@unCliche exactly everyone is different, google is full of what things should look like but in reality dips, rises, it all happened for me. I actually still temp, I must stop and I will as of tomorrow (she says).

My cramps have stopped, although I have these mild twinges but I’m trying to not over analyse and the prune juice worked so I feel lighter and not sick now (sickness not linked to BFP). And apart from sore chest I’m all good! told my mums and sister, we are all so close I couldn’t not. Just dad to tell but I’ll wait a week as oddly I think he’ll be the one who is overly excited (but I can’t leave him out and what will be will be)

So having said I have so far O'd on the last day of ewcm, I'm now on day three of ewcm post-O! I def O'd as temps shot up and stayed high for three days. I've had ewcm post-O before, but always later in the LP in line with second oestrogen surge. Does anyone know what it means to have ewcm on 1dpo to 3dpo?

@Cc7750 yay glad you are starting to share your news- so exciting!! And glad the extortionate prune juice worked hahaha! With DS I had ALOT of pulling and twinges in the couple of weeks after my bfp.
I’m defo having a drink or two over Xmas but I’m in healthcare and working part of Xmas sadly! Still gonna make it to see family briefly tho so will make the most of it ☺️
