Don't think it's any less worrying this time round tbh. Lots of people have secondary infertility so just because you conceived once doesn't necessarily mean you can again. But I'm trying not to think like that!

@unCliche you must be getting pretty far along your LP... are you testing soon or holding out?
I've not O'd yet but relieved to see fertile cm so it'll be a 28-30 day cycle rather than a 31+ cycle. Long cycles are a pest when TTC!

Oh wait, unCliche, it was only yesterday you said you were 6dpo, duh! Thought it was a few days ago. Time is funny just now!

Hehe yeah @HerringGull only 7dpo today. I think I'm going to do a you and wait until at least 14dpo to test.
Good news about your impending ovulation! A short cycle is great too! Means you won't have too long to wait before testing!

Morning, so I got all nervous after bleeding and decided to do a test and it was a weaker line... Obvs I got nervous so tried to hook effect, just sharing as it’s quite interesting. The top test in the pic is 100% urine and the bottom is 50/50.. they say if you dilute more it can even get darker. I’m not doing more as tomorrow is the scan and I need to just wait.. But if anyone ever gets the same try it before you panic

@Cc7750 you just dilute with water??? Looks lovely and strong, try not to worry! If the spotting was anything bad you’d have bled more by now surely?

@EllyNC Yeap they say when you get past a certain point and your HCG levels raise it can confuse the test, so you dilute with water so it can pick up the real levels... madness isn’t it!

Good luck tomorrow @Cc7750! Sure it will be just fine :) Haven't a clue what you're talking about with a hook effect, but from what you said it seems to be okay!

I think I've ovulated. So hard with no tracking! CM is creamy rather than dry, whatever that means! And mood lower with loss of appetite, so maybe that's the shift of hormones x

@Pudding01 I never had loss of appetite when I ovulated, jealous! I am hungry 30 days of the month ha!

Yeah, aren't you meant to be hungrier in the luteal phase because progesterone raises your metabolism? I'm like Cc7750 though - hungry all the time

Nope, not really feeling much! I was unwell yesterday because of what I ate but apart from that, this is the most boring cycle I've had 😂

How are things with you? Do you still temp? My temps haven't even zig-zagged a little bit and I don't know what that means!

@unCliche yep, here's mine. Had a sharp pain this morning and tiny bit of spotting so we DTD right after work just in case I O'd. Didn't want to wait til tonight and miss the egg! Yours looks v promising - going up and up! Have you worked out your LP for sure yet?

@HerringGull Sounds like ovulation! I also read ovulation spotting means a strong ovulation. So you might have a super healthy egg being released. Do you usually spot?
I'm not sure. My LP as gone from 7 > 9 > 10 > 12 days but the longer LPs have come with pre-AF spotting too so not sure if my LP has actually increased.

@unCliche ooh i don't know the answer to that either. Depends on how much blood the spotting is maybe?
I've never in my life had ovulation spotting before. I thought maybe it was a wee cut or something, it was just a bit of ewcm that was pinky brown colour. No idea!

@HerringGull Well my pre-AF spotting has never been on my underwear or on the tissue when I wiped. Only went I checked my cervix so I wouldn't have known if I wasn't sticking fingers up myself! 😂

Omg me too! This cycle was the first time I had ovulation spotting. It was a single streak of brown in EWCM when wiping and that was it! But it was 2 days before ovulation while yours sounds like it's the day of.
I think you should consider it a good thing. It means high fertility apparently! Let's hope this cycle is the one 😁
