I read somewhere on MN that after coming off the pill it is possible to skip period then have one a month after the 1st one should have been due IYSWIM

In which case, I missed period last week but could still Ov next week

well im still having my AF which is now the 6th day...started my period last Friday and now its a watery light AF...am i still gonna be Fertile about the 1st Nov?

Anyhow, i'm on CD11 Cycle 3 TTC #3 (feels like #1 most of the time though, as my last attempt at TTC was 11 years ago!!!)

Afternoon everyone and welcome to all the new folk. I am now 7 days late and now keen to get TEW. After all the excitement and disappointment of this week, I just want to move forward. My DH now thinks I'm clinically insane after waking up to a hysterically weeping wifey yesterday morning. These things take time. Que sera sera (or something like that!)

Not expecting much joy from the doctor on Friday - a load of platitudes I expect but at least I'll feel I'm doing something!

Ah well, at least this cycle was a lot shorter than last months, I guess that's good news and DH is looking forward to the BDing again

More questions from me I'm afraid. Still not sure of my cycle as I haven't had a full one since having the implant taken out.

So, a bit TMI coming here, I had EWCM on CD10-12, and BDd on CD10 and CD12. Later that week, CD15 I think, I had quite bad cramps, was really confused cos it felt like period cramps. After a bit of research on here thought it might have been ovulation pains, but circumstances conspired against me and we didn't bd that day. EWCM had gone so I thought I'd missed the boat.

So now, approaching CD28, I've convinced myself that what I thought were ovulation pains on CD15 was in fact due to implantation, and I could actually be pregnant. Is this possible, or has the TTC crazy fairy claimed me? No real symptoms otherwise, a couple of twinges, but this is the first time I've ever paid attention, so could easily be perfectly normal non-pregnant twinges.

TMI alert from me as well, LOADS of CM today not stretchy like EWCM but still loads, suppose it's nothing. I KNOW that you don't get pregnancy symptoms until after implantation when the embryo and growing placenta start doing their hormone bit which makes your body go mad but hey can't fault a girl for trying, gotta do something on this 2ww.

Nakamura - sorry honey but I think you have a perfectly healthy cycle, if you had EWCM on CD10-12 you probably ovulated CD13ish so CD15 would be far too early for implantation sorry it takes a good 8-10 days. But you are looking good though, when is AF due? See if it we me I would be tempted to do a test but thats me can't wait for anything

Thanks for talking some sense into me spookykitty Think I've been a bit confused about the EWCM thing in general - I had thought it was supposed to coincide with ovulation, which would have made ovulation very early I guess.

Blimey, it's complicated stuff this TTC business isn't it? Anyway, think I've got it straight now...

Testing wise, I do have a test languishing in a drawer somewhere, but I am trying to be strong this first time round. I'll give it to the morning of CD29

I would like to say that CD4 IS SOOOOO BORING . If I don't get a BFP this month I am going to become a dog woman and surround myself with loads of dogs and old newspapers. .

I usually find if I put my mind onto something else then it goes quicker. Im on cd19 and cant believe how quickly its gone! Im currently looking into next years holiday to America so keeping me busy.

However saying that my MN addiction never quite lets me take my mind of it completely! Really should take some time out of MN every now and again.

Hellooooo I have one day away from work thus missing the waiting room and loads of new folk arrive Welcome all!!!!

Well I have has a cack day - had a stinking migraine last night which meant that I didn't get to sleep until 3am Then the alarm goes off at 6.30 and the farkin headache is still there

So I packed dd off to grandmas as originally planned, phoned in sick and went back to bed. Woke at around 2pm, dh in bed with me (he works odd hours) and feeling a lot better . Thinks to myself "what a perfect bd opportunity - no chance of Ninjachild appearing bedside at the critical moment". So I initiated bd'ing, only for dh to roll over, huffing & puffing and pulling the duvet over his head. Took the hint and slunk downstairs - suitably chastened...

Daytime telly is no substitute, in my opinion...

veggie spal bol and garlic bread was lovely DP, DD2 and I now have garli breath, DD1 refuses to eat anything with "disgusting bits" in it (herbs to you and me) and hates pasta with a passion, she's very fussy, most nights I have to make 3 different dinners (meat for DP, veggie for me and something for the girls) I long for the day we all eat the same thing.

anyways who was talking about opks???? I also think the best are CBD but at £20 odd pound a month a bit expensive, I think opks have their uses though it's good to use them for the first couple of months to chart your cycle so you know when you ovulate etc but they can stress you out a bit

anyway Heroes coming on, away for some tea and biscuits to watch it night night all x

Screaminglips - EWCM = egg white cervical mucus. I'm pretty new to it all (as you can probably tell) but so far I think I've picked up that you can get an idea of when you are about to ovulate because your CM becomes a stretchy consistency like egg white.
