OP posts:
abbevillemum · 23/10/2007 14:54

Thanks guys. My concern is I haven't had any BD since CD21 and furthermore no EWCM. I think I'm going to ask the doctor about the lack of EWCM on Friday.....

pixie04 · 23/10/2007 15:36

abbevillemum write a list of questions down. I always feel quiet intimidated by the Dr and end up forgetting all my questions so now I right them all down.

Its funny but I've not noticed any EWCM ever in my cycles. I had some stretchy CM but that must have been a good few days after OV last cycle.

If it doesn't happen this month for me I'm considering starting a diary next month and noting down all my symptoms day by day including OPK results so that I can get a good overview of what's happening with my cycles.

Today I've been having really bad period type cramps. Their too low to be OV cramps but they have been a bit one sided. Can't be AF as I'm only CD14! I am confused which is why I'm thinking of starting the diary so I have something to show my consultant.

digitalgirl · 23/10/2007 15:41

I've started logging my symptoms on fertilityfriend.com. I've just signed up for the free calendar as opposed to the VIP member. You can chart your temps, symptoms, weight etc. It's pretty good.

sarahnh · 23/10/2007 15:56

abbeyville, i really feel for you, i had the same thing last month, i used an opk and know i ovulated on cd18, af was due on cd 29, went through pts everyday and got bfn, it
AF finally arrived on cd36. I went to the docs but all she said was these things can sometimes happen, not very reassuring i know! I have read loads of threads on here though were BFPs were confirmed a week after they were due so i've really got my fingers crossed for you xxx

pixie04 · 23/10/2007 16:06

Hope this makes you feel better but I've heard a long LP is a good thing. As if you have a short one there isn't as much chance of the embryo implanting. 14 - 16 day LP is pretty good apparently. Sorry if I'm wrong.

mamalex · 23/10/2007 16:23

Hi everyone,I am in!
Getting into the "zone",fingers (just fingers) crossed . I wish every luck to us all!

Artichokes Am of your 5 for 1 price for Clearblues! How fantastic!

debinaustria · 23/10/2007 18:37

Here's your 1st postcard from a graduate to pin up on your board

Hello everyone
Well the weather is cold and has been snowing for 5 days now, I have developed a very close relationship with the toilets in the house whilst I am hugging them, I've spent a lot of time sleeping , and I can't fit in my jeans.
WISH YOU WERE HERE
Deb

And here's some more babydust, I thought it was a flurry of snow when I opened the door but I could tell by the way it glittered that it was very fertile babydust, so I scooped it all up and here it is* *

pixie04 · 23/10/2007 18:49

Thanks for the baby dust Debs Piggleychez I was told that you get your LH surge (which is what gives you the on the OPK) 24 - 36 hours before ovulations so you probably Ov'd Thursday/Friday. I would have thought its unusual to have two days of LH surge, mine only lasted one day, I have heard romours that the longer your LH surge (ie more than one day) the more likley that you could have popped two eggs

Spink · 23/10/2007 18:54

evening fellow bump-hopers.
I have absolutely NOTHING to say, but it always makes me feel better to come here, so I am just saying hello and reading all your news, hugging a hot cup of honey and lemon [relax and fall off chair emoticon]

sarahnh · 23/10/2007 18:57

now i have a question! I to have been using opks this month, last cycle was 36 days (a bit freaky) used opk kit early this cycle cos you never know and got a on cd13.. now on cd18 and (tmi) got loads of ewcm!! what is going on?? does that mean that i didn't ovulate on cd13 and am ovulating now?? i really do not understand my body at all!!!

OK, I come out you caught me lurking in the background...!!!
I am trying to conceive no 2 for 2/3 months now, not using OPK'S yet as trying to stay calm and relaxed (whilst secretly longing )
Anyway, nice to meet you all, here's wishing us loads of luck.

Screaminglips · 23/10/2007 20:52

Minnow1 · 23/10/2007 21:17

How does everyone stay sane during 2ww? I am driving myself mad!

I have been feeling a bit icky but I think this is due to the knot in my stomach from too much thinking about ttc!

Any tips on how to relax and take my mind off it??

I'm worried I will make things harder if I carry on like this!

Abbevillemum, I know what you are going through my cycles have been a bit erratic. Hope it is good news for you

Choccie75 · 23/10/2007 21:25

I know it drives you mad, i have the same symptoms every month but this month my (.)(.)are more tender than usual, so that is making me even more insane!! aaggghh when will it end, sometimes i wish it had all happened by accident! mmmm being on the pill for 10 years probably put pay to that!!

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 21:33

yes I totally agree the 2ww is hell, I get no symptoms when actually pregnant so have to make up some instead, oh apart from more CM which I noticed from last time (June)

welcome to all newbies best of luck x

07mumstheword · 23/10/2007 21:35

Just back from another stab at christmas shopping. Bought myself a nice coat and couple of bras. Ooops was I supposed to buy presents for other people?

I'm on second wk of two wk wait and insane is putting it mildly. Whilst I was shopping I got gripey period type pains. I'm sure AF on her way but can't help think implantation!

Hello choccie and coolcat nice to meet you.
