sk is your cm creamy? Mine is white and odourless - more than it was last month.

Screaminglips · 23/10/2007 21:58

how creamy does the CM have to be? im just curious!

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 22:00

yes ladylush mine is thicker and more white than EWCM and nowhere near as stretchy

(only on mn would ou discuss the contents of your knickers)

DP has just asked me when D day is this month (or is that P for period day) I said Halloween but I'm not hopeful (because of YOU) he said well at least you will have Halloween to tke your mind off it

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 22:06

screaminglips - heres a good website explaining it all

EWCM

also www.askdramy.com is an excellent website to help you get started about ttc

Screaminglips · 23/10/2007 22:11

wow...thanks Spooky

pigleychez · 23/10/2007 22:22

sk I too am due AF on Halloween

Are you going to test on wednesday?

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 22:24

your welcome screaminglips both good sites I was pointed to on mumsnet, you will soon be an expert like the rest of us

pigley - the PLAN is to wait until Wednesday but I have a load of ebay cheapies upstairs lurking, oh I hope we all get little spooky pumpkins of our own next week

pigleychez · 23/10/2007 22:36

sk- I deliberately havent bought any so that im not tempted!

im on cd18 of 26.

got my smiley face last wed and thursday whilst in paris so this month would be great for us!

have to just wait and see now what/ if any symptoms i get/ make up!

If either of us/ both are lucky this month we should call the baby Frank as in Frankenstein

roll Halloween...

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 22:39

pigley - I had a positive on an ebay opk last Thursday, had EWCM since Tuesday

I will be having a girl if I'm pregnant so am calling her Morticia

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 22:39

you MUST call yours Paris though

pigleychez · 23/10/2007 22:51

SK how are you so sure you will have a girl?

I have a feeling that mine (at some point!) will be a boy.

Had a pyshic reading a few years ago and she asked if i had previously lost a little boy- which i havent, And she said that he was waiting. Also i only ever see 4 magpies at a time ( 4 for a boy ) never 3 ( for a girl).

Silly really but hey

spookykitty · 23/10/2007 22:59

I have two girls already pigley, both sides of family girls outnumber boys about 4 to 1, I think I just DO girls not that a little boy wouldn't be lovely, I felt the one I lost was a boy.

Screaminglips · 23/10/2007 23:12

is it best to use the same opk? or are they all the same?

Bucky2007 · 24/10/2007 07:26

Morning...glad I found you all. I bought muffins and fresh coffee for breakfast.

coolkat · 24/10/2007 08:11

Mmmm Nice Bucky - Thanks

Hows everyone this morning? I have nothing to report.
Have a good day,
Hope AF stays at bay!

07mumstheword · 24/10/2007 08:41

Hmm coffee & muffins thats the way to start the day, thanks Bucky.

SK - I have to confess that although I bought a million Ebay tests and I have a strong feeling AF on her way and I already have one CBD in the cupboard left from last month I bought a twin pack of CBD last night as back up! This is getting crazy!

Screaminglips · 24/10/2007 09:00

07mum.........oooh its talking over everything those tests!!

oooh thanks Bucky for the muffin and a hot cup of coffee - yum yum!!

nothing to report as we havent done any BD'ing yet!! bit ive told Dp my most fertile day and he better be here!! as its seems to be falling on his pool night..so i will get hold of him before he shoots off!!

Har · 24/10/2007 09:44

Another postcard, a rather arty black and white photograph of a camel...
Dear everyone,
Out all day yesterday so didn't realise you guys had all moved, luckily it wasn't too hard tracking down your new address! Hope you're all settling in ok. Heavy frost, like snow, on the roof outside my study window, looks like a thick layer of babydust, will pop outside in a bit and shovel it up and send it over (is the postal strike over in England yet?) just in case!
Well promise to come and stay with us on the ante-natal thread soon!
Love and luck to you all,
Har

Har · 24/10/2007 09:45

Some lovely frosty nordic babydust from the roof opposite... xxx

Shazza2002 · 24/10/2007 10:10

Morning all.

I've updated the list. I hope that's ok. I don't want to tread on anybodies toes (I'm not the slimest (sp?) of people)

Hope it's correct

I've added your details on choccie

Morning all nothing much to report here either freezing cold not got much planned for today nursery pick up later and then just the usual have bought DD1 some new paints so will be doing at this afternoon I reckon.

Shazza2002 · 24/10/2007 10:22

A question. I have the CB fertility monitor at home. Now I can't start using that until AF has turned up.

I'm going to order some cheaper OPK off Ebay as I keep getting pains, not quite AF pains. So just gonna pee on things until I can work out what it is.

Anybody have any sellers/type that they recommend?

Thanks

Screaminglips · 24/10/2007 10:51

ooh im interested in this too Shazza but wanted to know if they are all more or less the same - the OPK?

digitalgirl · 24/10/2007 11:35

[DG pops into snuffle for some leftover cold muffins]

Hello all. Still dangling around the bottom of the thread, eating chocolate and snapping at nearest and dearest whilst waiting for AF stop dawdling and just get over here.

shazza thanks for updating the list. I haven't bought any cheapie opks off ebay, but i think pixie has. I did buy some boots ones, but i don't trust them as if you forget to check within ten minutes, the line gets stronger over the hour (giving you a false positive).

har thanks for the babydust, will sprinkle some on my cold muffin and hope for the best.

GardenAngel4 · 24/10/2007 11:44

I swear by clearblue. I agree wioth dg boots and chemists own brands are a bit iffy, i didnt trust them so ended up buying CB anyway! (trtying to type this with Dd on lap)
