Annannanna · 11/12/2020 12:00

Yeah morning sickness on Christmas Day! My husband was suggesting we wait a month so I can drink and not feel sick over the Christmas period but I can't wait!

I'm 7dpo, not going to poas till weds at least. I'd love to surprise oh for Xmas!

Newstart20 · 11/12/2020 12:22

I'm 3/4dpo and due on 21st/22nd December. So I'm joining in hoping for a Christmas BFP

ApplePie86 · 11/12/2020 13:22

I feel like I'm ovulating just now but OPKs not getting positive. Got to 0.75 over 2 days but got lighter today. Not sure if I missed the test or if I just haven't peaked although then not sure why I can feel ovulation pain.

If I got BFP I would know by Christmas Day and would be an awesome little surprise for DP 😊

Annannanna · 11/12/2020 13:44

Maybe you missed the surge? Would it rise that high & go down again? I’ve only started using opk this month, I got my static smiley yesterday and my easy at home strips went up to 1.26. I used both to be sure.

I'm still not sure how those ovulation tests work. I just follow the instructions and hope for the best haha. Only managed to DTD twice but I only had high for 2 days then peak so I'm not confident but I'm silently hopeful.

hopefully2021 · 11/12/2020 15:57

Can I join please ladies, I'm due on christmas day! Hoping for a christmas BFP xx

Annannanna · 11/12/2020 16:59

Hopefully the build up to Christmas will distract us a bit and stop us symptoms spotting.
I had loads of symptoms last cycle, my AF was 2 weeks late but constant bfn. So this month I am going to ignore any symptoms as they are all in my head & try to test as late as possible as I can't face seeing another bfn!

Hi, I'm 10DPO and hoping to give OH that lovely present! How's everyone doing??

marcella64 · 11/12/2020 19:18

First response order was dispatched today, it will be a miracle if I hold off testing till day af is due. We're on our first month of ttc #3, my last pregnancy was 6 years ago. I'm now 30 so no idea if my fertility has declined. Xx

biiirdy85 · 11/12/2020 19:22

Evening ladies, wondering if I can join for company and Testing restraint on this TWW!
AF due Christmas Eve, 2nd cycle and start of TWW today. Although this is the second time this week I’ve been on 1DPO as I’ve had two peaks this week to try and wrap my head around?! First solid smiley caught on CB digital and then another huge surge four days later that I caught by the strips almost by accident yesterday! There’s so much to be on the look out for in TTC you can’t turn your back for a second!! xx

MariaA11 · 11/12/2020 19:36

Hello everyone! Can I join? Smile

AF due 21st.. haven't been checking ovulation via temp or OPK's as, well, the idea was not to get stressed about it all, but i've been reading these mumsnet forum's as often as facebook, so that didn't really work, haha.
According to my apps i'm 4/5DPO. Fingers crossed for a Christmas BFP.

Good luck to you all!

marcella64 · 11/12/2020 19:36

Hi @biiirdy85 2 surges wow, I'm still trying to get my head round tracking ovulation. I haven't used anything yet to test my peaks but if I'm still ttc in 3 months I will.

Finalbaby3 · 11/12/2020 19:42

Hi, just jumping on as I'm also due Christmas Day! What a gift that would be! Although my last cycle was only 3 weeks so half expecting af to come next week but fingers crossed!

Finalbaby3 · 11/12/2020 19:46

Also @marcella64, I'm also ttc #3 with my youngest just turning 6 this week! Also turning 30 in the next few months and like you, unsure about my fertility! So much worry with ttc isn't there 😰

marcella64 · 11/12/2020 19:55

@Finalbaby3 this will be my last one too, my youngest turned 6 this week! I also a have a 9 year old. Pregnancy in my 20s was a breeze, I'm fitter now but I've been told you get tired quicker 30+!? It's so nice to find a mum in the same boat as me. X

Annannanna · 11/12/2020 20:00

My daughter is 6 also! I’m ttc no. 2 at 38!
I had a chemical pregnancy the cycle before last so I’m hoping that’s a good sign I can still conceive, just got to make the next one stick!

Finalbaby3 · 11/12/2020 20:01

Omg my oldest turns 9 next week!! How crazy 😱 I didn't handle pregnancy great tbh but now I know what to expect I'm hoping I'll handle it better haha. I had awful spd both times so I'm expecting that to return but no sickness. Both of mine are girls though so id welcome more symptoms if it means I get a boy lol x

CatbearAmo · 11/12/2020 20:05

I'm having my coil removed on Monday. Don't have a clue about my cycle because I don't have periods anymore since having the coil fitted. Hopefully doctor can shed some light on that with a scan!

marcella64 · 11/12/2020 20:09

@Finalbaby3 how crazy!! I have a girl and boy, son being the youngest. I was sick as a dog with both of them. I had some miscarriages before both pregnancies so expecting them again. It will be nice to share this whole thing with some other mums. All my friends are done having babies so I don't get much chat from them on this bit 🙈 If I could chose I'd have another boy, girls are divas! X

marcella64 · 11/12/2020 20:11

@Annannanna my mum had me at 43, I'm sure you will be fine, a chemical is defo a positive sign! 6 is a great age, they can help with the nappies! X

outback81 · 11/12/2020 20:11

Hi ladies can I join you? I'm 3dpo, due af on the 23rd but I have a short luteal phase so tend to start spotting at 9dpo I've been taking vitamins this month to see if it helps! Third cycle ttc #1, I'm also a poas addict!

laura2093 · 11/12/2020 20:43

Hello can I join!?
10 dpo - no sign or symptoms bar a little bit of cramping 7/8dpo. This is our 9th cycle but the first time I've caught a peak using clear blue. Couldn't help myself testing at 7dpo BFN, so now waiting till AF is missed- here's hoping!!! Dying to fall over xmas Sad

Finalbaby3 · 11/12/2020 20:51

I've never experienced a chemical or miscarriage which I know I'm very fortunate not to have so I'm so worried I still have all of that to experience. Only a few of my friends have children and they're also done so I'm a serial Mumsnet lurker! Fingers crossed for us all!! So exciting but nerve wracking all at the same time! I know I shouldn't but I'm so hoping for a boy to complete our family. I don't think my oh could cope with anymore females in the house 😂 x
