TWW for Christmas BFP, anyone else?

Just starting the TWW, AF due Christmas Eve. Hoping for a lovely Christmas present!

Hey gals, can I join? AF due 24th Dec, not 'trying' but no contraception for 18 months. This is first cycle TTC via tracking CM and OPKs. I didn't get a positive or peak, although I may have missed it. It rose to 56% and then dipped again (on Femometer). Had a CP last month which made us realise we really want to try properly. Heres hopng! Trying not to POAS until Christmas Day if AF doesn't come before! I've been searching for daddy babygrows on Etsy to surprise DH.... help!!!

I'm dreaming about wrapping up a positive test for Christmas for my fiancé 😫 I'm 6 DPO today!

@MaryJaxx I love the baby grow idea, doubt I'd be able to keep it quiet long enough for one to be delivered! I had a friend that put a bun in the oven for hubby's arrival from work! X

I’ve been thinking about how I could get a big sister teddy in my daughters Christmas Eve box. She has been asking for a sibling for years but it I know it would probably be too early to tell her. Definitely getting ahead of myself!

@Annannanna I have no idea how I'd tell the kids. My oldest is having sex Ed at school so she will be mortified 😂

DP saw a mug he liked with ‘papa bear’ on it in Morrisons, and defo thought of wrapping that up if it were a BFP. Need to stop overthinking and let things happen! 😂😂

I had a chemical pregnancy the month before last and then didn't ovulate til cd33 last month so keep tracking as it can throw your cycle out. I wasn't tracking so missed my window to conceive as didn't realise I was ovulating so late.

Hi ladies looking to join , I got my coil out 28th November so don't really know where I am in my cycle as I didn't take a period with it just going with the flow hoping it doesn't take us too long but I don't expect to get pregnant on the 1st month off contraception 🙂 good luck to you all 💞

Can I join please? First cycle TTC, monitoring ovulation with cycle tracking but not using OPK yet. AF due 21st/22nd Dec.

I am constantly symptom spotting! It's crazy and annoying! I am 11DPO today and have more CM than usual- slight aching cramps but nothing more or less than usual. I am booked in for a pelvic ultrasound on Friday as have family history or endometriosis and fibroids - If AF doesn't come before then I will test (Due Tuesday) xxx

Morning! According to one app im 2dpo and the other I'm 9 because of my short cycle last month so god knows! Not symptom spotting as such but massively bloated. I think the 2dpo may be correct as I'm pretty sure I had ovulation pains at the beginning of the week.

@laura2093 good luck with the scan, hopefully you get some answers. I got awful cramps last night after dtd, last time that happened they took my coil out. I've never wished away 2 weeks so much as the 2ww! @Finalbaby3 I feel ovulation on my right side, needed up seeing a consultant about it as the pain was intense but scans show no concerns just large follicle. Don't you find ttc so much more complex than 10 years ago! X

@marcella64 I'm tempted to buy it before I test. Too presumptious?? Maybe it would jinx it. Love the bun in the oven idea!!

@annannanna interesting! I did another OPK today and it's low. CM has changed too and I had ovary pain/fuller boobs earlier in the week so I think I just missed it on the tests.

3dpo for me and have lower back ache on right side... similar to AF or ovulation symptoms. Can't help but symptom spot!!

I'm now 4/5 DPO and hoping that next week will go quickly being the last week of term/before xmas

I’m due AF on 24th so right there with you on the TWW. Using Clearblue ovulation test (dual hormone one) and apparently my peak was Tuesday just gone, but then have had flashing smileys in the day since, so bit confused :/

@CarlyAM I took another after my peak cause i wasn't convinced and it said low, no flashy face. Its so irritating not knowing and then the waiting. Would this be your first?

No, fortunately we have my son who’s 14 months, but I didn’t track anything when we ttc for him. I’m just very conscious of my age this time (I’ve just turned 34) so want to make sure we’re trying at the best times. Are you trying for your first? The ovulation test just confuse me! I thought ttc digital ones were meant to be clearer but that obviously isn’t the case

@CarlyAM I have a 3 year old. I got pregnant in May this year but had a miscarriage in July. This is the first of my cycle regulating so I can try again. The CB ovulation test worked the first month I tried them in May. Not holding out hope for the same luck this time around.

@IndigoJam so sorry to hear about your mc :( I’m sure if you got a negative after the peak it’ll be spot on again for you! Fingers crossed for BFPs before Xmas. Going to try and wait this tww out until my ‘official’ test day on 23rd :/

Took a couple of ovulation tests again this morning, still getting a flashy face on Clearblue, and a faint line on a cheapy strip so I’m almost definite it’s not an LH surge. Wonder if my estrogen levels are randomly high. Hope every else isnt finding the two week wait too hard!

Anyone got any reviews on these tests? Now 12 DPO - tested yesterday BFN 😣🤦‍♀️

@laura2090 I used the one step early tests last month when I had a CP. I think they are good from the day of missed period but don't detect low levels of HCG. Mine were BFN but FRER was faint positive. I was testing from about 6 days before AF due (wasn't sure when I ovulated).

@CarlyAM I'm not familiar with the clearblue ovulation tests. What does flashing smiley mean? I didn't get a positive OPK this month but I'm sure I ovulated on CD14 because all other symptoms were there.

I'm on 4dpo and getting a hot, flushed face, sore throat and blocked nose. Could just be a winter cold but I'm hopeful....!

I did buy the "Hi daddy" babygrow on Etsy to surprise DH. If I don't get to use it this month, I'll have it for the future.
