TWW for Christmas BFP, anyone else?

Just starting the TWW, AF due Christmas Eve. Hoping for a lovely Christmas present!
Anyone else joining me?

@CarlyAM Oh I'm exactly the same as you so no judgement here 😂 I tested from 8dpo last month...WHY I don't know, all it did was waste four tests 🙈

It just always seems like such an excruciating wait! I'll keep my fingers crossed for 21st onwards then! x

Now 15 DPO, no sign of AF bar some light cramping. In a dilemma do I keep waiting it out to see if she comes? I have a pelvic scan on Friday and see if anything shows on that? Or do I just test tomorrow? ARGH! Please pray for me xxx

Had minor light brown spotting yesterday - this is the second time my period has decided to start doing this. Never used spot before periods EVER. Now were TTC, I swear my body is playing tricks on me.
Temp drop this morning so AF on the way it looks so I'm out.
Roll on month number 9.

@WildRose91 my body has gone haywire since TTC also. Early AF, spotting, weird pain - the works. Annoying.

Either 7 or 2 dpo today and I have spotting 😔

My periods have gone super light too. Barely get a red bleed anymore. Its always brown.
I have gone to the docs about it and ran some tests, everything is normal and because I'm still regular they weren't concerned.
Never thought I would see the day where I wanted a normal red, heavy period!

@WildRose91 doctors seem really crap when it comes to this sort of thing, seems to get labelled as "women's problems" and not looked into. Hormones are complexed.

Great. So just got to wait until we've been trying for a year to see fertility doctor.
I'm so upset, I didn't want it to be this difficult.
My sisters fell pregnant first month of trying, one was even an accident. I didn't want it to be this hard.

Have you not tested yet? I would deffo test at 15dpo.

@WildRose91 might be worth switching out doctors, or asking for a second opinion.

It will happen for you lovely, it's a shame it's such a rocky road.

Ahh that's rubbish, good luck on your next cycle. That is the bright side of a bfn this month, we can get pissed at Christmas & new year with no morning sickness!

8dpo tomorrow. I ovulate early this month so ill be 14dpo before in due on. Im not patient enough to wait to test. I'll need to test next qeek

@IndigoJam I think I’m going to test on 21st. Had some one-sided cramping today at 7 DPO, but trying not to over analyse. Only 4 more days to go

@CarlyAM I was thinking ill test on Tuesday and see what happens. I got a positive at 10dpo when I was last pregnant so heres hoping

@IndigoJam fingers crossed there’s a little Christmas present there for you! Sounds like you’ll know either way by then based on your previous pregnancy, but then they always say they’re all different! I don’t know how many DPO I was with my son when I found out as I wasn’t monitoring, but it was definitely a couple of days before my period was due I think. Have everything crossed for us both.

Hello, this is our first month TTC and first time on Mumsnet (so trying to get down with the abbreviations 😅). Based on my averages my period is due on Christmas Day, so I’m wondering (as long as it doesn’t arrive before then), do I wait out for my period or do I test Christmas Day morning? Because if I do and it’s a BFP it will be amazing, and if it’s a BFN then at least I can have a drink or two to drown sorrows! What would you do?

@Rice1992 I would test Christmas Eve! Then if it's a BFP you can surprise your other half Christmas morning! But if it isn't you have a nights sleep to be sad, wake up in the morning and have a drink with breakfast!x

I'm 11 DPO today and not a squinter in sight so I'm already planning my champagne breakfast!

This is a great idea and I plan to do the same, although I will probably cave and test before then!

I’m 11DPO today and so so tempted to test. Been having right hand side ovary pain and a lot of white CM, no other symptoms which is weird for this time of my cycle. Quietly hopeful but then expecting it to be same as the last 7 cycles.. BFN.

AF turned up tonight- day 28 exactly for the 3rd month in a row. Gutted but pleased as next ovulation should be over xmas when I'm more relaxed and have more time on my hands to DTD. Everything happens for a reason. Still have my pelvic scan on Friday, hopefully it will say everything is working just fine x

AF due Christmas Day for me. Will be visiting family who mostly don't know I'm TTC so will have to be discreet with testing.

@bitheby how will you hide your excitement if you get a bfp? Will you reveal?

I'm now 6dpo or 13dpo (different apps showing different dates 🙄) and I'm sooooo tired which is not completely unusual due to working 12 day and night shifts but I feel exhausted and I'm currently on annual leave! Also having the strangest dreams, a lot about babies. Last night I dreamt my mam had a baby (impossible!) and she made me take care of it 😂 if I have another 3 week cycle I'm due on tomorrow
