No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

@ImpatientMama I think I am going to do the same, test early with cheapies!

I am only 3dpo and not sure if it’s related my nipples are SOOOOO sensitive like actual agony if I touch them or catch them. Got lots of breakouts too so wondering if I have some crazy high hormones

@ImpatientMama I think I'm around 10dpo (according to app! Buy tbh haven't followed it much this month had too much on!) my daughter turned one plus other bits and bobs!, so af due 19th which is Friday! I have one frer left from last months disasters. And hard as may be I will wait till Friday to use it! As I think I will get a definite answer then! I feel like I'm getting cramps today but still you never know :)

@Bgrace8 seems early for those symptoms to be pregnancy related, but I would say those hormones sure have a way with letting us know they are around!
@lastbany glad you have been busy! Helps in this tww! Planning on wrapping gifts today for Christmas, so that will hopefully keep my mind off things. Good luck on your Friday test and definitely let us know how it goes!! 🤞🤞

Hi girls! Sounds like everyone has been keeping busy, best thing for it in the 2ww!

I was away all weekend which was lovely; and after worrying about my ovulation and BBT, a couple more days or temping and it confirmed ovulation, two days later than originally predicted. Which works out better for when we managed to DTD 🤞🏻6dpo and just trying to keep busy and not symptom spot. My stepdaughter comes Friday so something to look forward to! X

This morning when I wiped, I saw a mixture of egg white cm with some brown. Thinking it could be implantation bleeding. Didn't have it with my first, so I'm not 100% sure. Tempted to test tomorrow, 8 dpo. It will most likely be negative. I have 5 cheapies, so I have plenty to use early. Haha.

We went to the Isle of Skye, it was lovely! A change of scenery! And lucky we got to go, kept thinking our tier would change where we are but it didn't so was ok to go! Ah lovely where did you go? It's so nice to get away!

I'm at 9dpo and don't plan to test until AF is missed by at least a few days. Not feeling very positive today, temp seems to be going down and I told myself I'd not look too much at it after ovulation but it's hard not to!

How are you ladies getting on?

To top things off, I've found my first grey hair today! Which isn't good, I have the darkest hair! Felt like I could cry 😭😂🙈

On the upside it's finally not raining today so I'm going to get a walk at lunchtime! Try and destress. Why is it so easy to say you'll chill, but not so much to manage!!

I tested at 8dpo and it was negative. Tested again this morning at 10 dpo and it was still negative (plus 2 invalids 🙄). I did use cheapies so those invalids and negatives didn't cost me a fortune. I use an app called Ovia which has a place where people can post questions and post about their test results. All super anonymous which I like. And a lot of ladies recently posted about getting their bfp at 10 dpo, so I was hopeful. I know 10 dpo is early, so I am going to stay positive and hope maybe at 12 dpo I will get my bfp! I also noticed a bbt increase today which is hopeful. I just can't help myself from testing early! 😅

Haha! My af is due tonorow so I should know soon enough! However will only be day 28 tomorow and last month was 34!! Have usual cramps etc I tested Monday afternoon like a idiot with my frer!! My last one! Just though ah let's see! I'm pretty sure it's negative as o don't think app etc predicts correct ovulation day and I've decided to just leave to gods lol if happens it happens so o won't be testing of af doesn't come till next week Monday Mayve but only with a cheapo lol was hoping we would have some BFP by now x

The cheapos are annoying me with all the invalids I have gotten this cycle and last cycle. Think I will get better tests. Our local drug store has a brand that is similar to frer, but a little cheaper. So I may try those instead.

@ImpatientMama yeah 10dpo is still early so keep positive! That's annoying about all the invalids! Not what you need! I use Ovia now too and like it, although one app says AF due Sunday and one says Tuesday! Fingers crossed for a BFP🤞🏻

@lastbany yeah I just can't face doing numerous tests again and them coming back negative, it's just as hard as the waiting, both are rubbish to be honest. But I said before I didn't want to keep seeing BFNs, I wanted the next to be the BFP. But seeing as AF was 10days late last cycle i had to! I have my fingers crossed for a BFP for you too 🤞🏻

I’ve had two days of bleeding tho and AF not due until the 26th so once again I’m very confused as to what’s going on! At least it’s Xmas and we’re all busy and distracted instead of sitting and thinking about it too much x

@HJen22 @ImpatientMama out of curiosity when did you ovulate what day? Just wondering with the late cycles? Af due today for me so we will see what happens:)

@lastbany morning! Well it was predicted i would ovulate CD12 but after a peak OPK on CD12 and temping, it changed to CD14. One app says AF due tomorrow and another Tuesday! If any, hopefully not tomorrow as that would mean a pretty short luteal phase (I'm 11DPO) and thats flagged up as too short on Femometer previously!

@lastbany my opks read: CD13- high in the early afternoon, peak at night, CD14- both were high, CD15- both were low. So I am guessing I ovulated on CD14. I tested 8dpo, 10-12dpo, all negatives. 🙄 I have one more FRER, one cheapie, and two digitals left. And would love to not have to buy anymore tests! So I think, as hard as its going to be, I'm going to wait to test again until Wednesday. I have three apps and all three have different predictions for when my period is going to start. If I test Wednesday, it will be 1-2 days past 2 of the three apps predictions and 1-2 before the other app predicts it. So it will be right in the middle. And I would hope by then I would get a positive (as long as AF doesn't show!), I would be 16dpo on that day. So this will definitely be testing my patience! 🙃

@HJen22 I'm pretty sure my bodies gearing up for at I feel relaxed about it tbh we didn't try hard this month and I'm not worrying anymore just gonna leave it to happen when does xx

@lastbany yeah I have a feeling AF is on its way too, I've been consciously trying NOT to symptom spot so also feeling a bit more relaxed about it, for a change! I'm hoping being busy and now my stepdaughter is here I won't have time to wallow for too long! I'd absolutely love a BFP this month but if it doesn't happen, onto the next 🤞🏻

@ImpatientMama oh it's so hard when apps are all different isn't it! I hope your next test is a BFP! Patience is the hardest thing! The whole TWW just isn't fun!

Well AF arrived day 28 as per usual lol strange really how last month was so out! So I'm going to do ovulation sticks this month we decided! But again not a lot of pressure just nice to see when ovulate x

@lastbany well enjoy a nice beverage this holiday season! Hope you have success next cycle! I really liked using opks. Not sure if they worked this cycle, yet, though. 🤞

@lastbany at least you know what’s happening can have a drink and plan for next month! I have a feeling I will get my AF I don’t feel any different and as we’ve been more relaxed I don’t think we’ve dtd enough but we shall soon see.

@lastbany I'm sorry AF arrived but glad it's not been a strange long cycle again! And as the ladies say, enjoy the festivities with some bubbles and fingers crossed for BFP next month!

@HT1335 I am feeling the same, don't feel any different, no symptoms, so thinking AF on its way! I also don't think we timed DTD at the right time despite our best efforts 😔 we're not out til AF comes though I guess!
