No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

@Darcy278 I’m am not sure about chemical pregnancies it all fairly new to me hopefully it’s just taken time to show the bfp?
@HJen22 yes onwards and upwards they won’t do any harm taking the vitamins and I did like the Clearblue ovulation I just didn’t get my highest fertility day for some reason but fingers crossed they work for you

@HJen22 well I’m not sure as then I had the MC I didn’t even know how late I was as my AF was so irregular. Maybe it’s gone back to being irregular again so maybe that’s why it’s not positive until now. I’m 6 days late today xx

@HT1335 I hope so I just hate being confused. I’m sure if I test again tomorrow it should be darker xx

@Darcy278 it looks like a pretty dark line to me! I hope that it gets darker for you! Yeah it could have been an irregular cycle and late ovulation! I really hope this is good news for you ❤️ maybe take another test tomorrow? I'm not sure how many confirm it as such! This is all pretty new to me too, I had no idea about light lines and chemicals.

@HT1335 yeah I think I'll like these better as doesn't involve me taking photos or trying to figure out which % to go with! I found myself taking loads of photos of the sticks and going with the average! Which I guess isn't right! Did you get high but not a peak reading?

@Darcy278 I believe i just went through one. I have a doctors appointment today to see if she can confirm. I had a very faint positive a week ago today and tested negative two days later. Started bleeding a couple days after that. Which is all common with chemical pregnancies. That second line is pretty dark. I would test again in a couple days and see if the dark gets darker.

@ImpatientMama I’m so sorry you went through that ☹️❤️ It’s like someone is playing tricks with us 😢 Thank you for that information, I will prob test again tomorrow morning as I’ll be too anxious to wait any longer xx

@Darcy278 thanks. It was my first chemical pregnancy and I was not expecting it at all. Apparently it is pretty common. The line may not be any darker that soon, but it will hopefully still be there for you!

@HJen22 yea I got high fertility the smiley flashing face to show I had high levels of oestrogen but never got my peak to show LH surge so I may still ask the gp to do some bloods for my LH and hormones
I’ve also broken out in terrible, sore acne which I know will be getting worse with stress, this is not a fun process!! Haha best be worth it in the end

@HT1335 oh that's confusing isn't it! One month I did the OPK strips and had a really clear peak up at the highest % the app had, but then another month the peak was no where as high. I really hope clear blue is easier! Yeah that's an idea to ask the doctor, hopefully they can do them if you explain you're not getting a peak result. Oh ouch acne isn't fun 😔

Well, the doctor visit went as expected. It was a chemical. 💔 But on the bright side, I am done bleeding and am going into this month with a positive attitude. I will make sure we DTD every other day, every 3rd day at the latest. Already did tonight. 👍 I am planning on getting some more exercise in as well. I was really good about taking walks several times a week when the weather was nice. Now that is is colder I have gotten lazy. We do have a bike and Peloton subscription, so I need to get back to that. Yoga at least once a week would be good too. And back to taking the conception pills, I stopped when I got my faint positive. AF is due around Christmas, so I am hoping Santa will bring me no AF and a BFP! Same to all of you!🤞

@ImpatientMama I'm so sorry you've went through this, heartbreaking 😔 I hope the doctor was nice. You sound so positive, and great plans for this month! I hope we all get our christmas BFPs 👶🏼🎄🎁 your plans sound very similar to mine, prenatal vits, DTD lots and lots of walks. I've already had a few this week and it's helped clear my head a lot x

@ImpatientMama sorry to hear that but yes good luck with you plan! I’ve been walking more this week it’s certainly a good stress relief and something I need to keep up all month
My AF will also be due around Christmas week, I think anyways as it’s so unpredictable lately

@HT1335 yeah it is nice just to get out for fresh air! I'm due around the 20th according to my app, even after the lint cycle it's still predicting a 26 day period, so we'll see! It would be the best Christmas present wouldn't it ☺️

@HJen22 according to my app my AF is due Boxing Day... but who knows! I don’t think I’ll ever get too excited about a late AF now unfortunately.
But I will try to be positive and hope for the best Christmas present I could ever wish for! ☺️

@HT1335 I know, I'm going to be so wary of late AF now too 😞 that long wait just wasn't fun! Yeah we just need to stay positive and busy and enjoy the festivities and hopefully this month is the month 🤞🏻🥰

@ImpatientMama yep mine too! Around 18/19 if we calculate right don't want no late arrivals!! I suffered really really bad morning sickness with my last at 15 weeks!!! I go bacn to work first week in jan so really wanted to avoid time off for preg probl!! Caus Littally couldn't keep anything down lost 2 stone on pregnancy and then once stopped loosing only put on 10lb in last pregnancy bonus! Lol however I am still at same weight was 13/9 (never been that heavy list a stone upto 6 weeks preg them lost more taking me to 11/9 only went to 12/5 at 38 weeks now bacj to 11/7 would have like to be 10 but hey have to be happy lol I used to walk everywhere with baby strokes to me lol however I have lost my love for it also! Used to listen to audiobooks and walk!! Weather is shit but if a don't get ojt daily with baby feel shit! Also just got the ring fit for switch which is fab but when I wasn't sure if was preg I stopped as it's pretty intense abs didn't want to risk anything of anything was happening!! And just haven't got bacn into it but on cd 7 today do need to start dtd howbee ewe are actually in the middle of a row 🤣🤣 and I feel like don't want to give in to him however after I had a long cycle few months bacj I had a very short one after 22 days! Ovulated day 8! So feel like a need to get cracking!

Thanks ladies. I also got some opks last night. I think it will be worth giving them a shot. And I will at least have an idea of when I ovulate! Should be here Monday, so I will start then. I feel like I was more patient with this whole thing when we were ttc our first child. But I was also working at the time, so I stayed busy. I am a stay at home mom now and feel like I am focusing on this a lot for some reason. 🤷‍♀️

Had some egg white cm this morning. But I just stopped bleeding 2 days ago. It seems too soon to be close to ovulating already. But I don't know. We DTD last night, but I don't think that's what caused it. I dont usually have that sort of cm after that. Maybe we will do it again today so I don't miss my window, if it is for some reason so soon. 🤔

So I bled for 2 days and now it's completely stopped so I am going to have to ring the doctor on Monday and have a chat !

Oh @Donnat89 I hope not! People do have periods when pregnant it's more common than you think. Did you test positive before or is this the first bfp? (Sorry if you posted one before and I missed)

@sociallydistained yea I had x 2 faint positives with FRER . Yea I've read that too , either way I'm going to have to speak with my GP but want to see what a digi says then least I can tell them and see what they think xx
