@Redfoot89 congratulationssss amazing news! Especially for it to go straight to 2-3. Have you had any symptoms?

@TheOrangeMonster that sounds positive- good to have something to work towards.

@AnxiousAnnie86 did you do another clear blue digital? Or just left it now?

I'm feeling a bit crampy but goes on and off, boobs aren't really sore but Oh accidentally hit one and it hurt. 6dpo today. Draggginggggg

AnxiousAnnie86 · 07/11/2020 12:01

@Blossom428 yeah I did one day before yesterday and it said 3+ so going in right direction. All I had up until the day Af was due was sore boobs! X

@Blossom428 thanks. Ive been feeling sick for about a week and its been getting worse the last few days. Ive also been noticing smells more 🤣 hubby came home having worked under floors all day and i smelled the damp instantly 😷. Ive also had a few cramps here and there like dull aches in that area. My veins in my boobs are super blue today aswel which is really freaky 😳 ive not really had sore boobs that much, they have been more itchy if that makes sense?

I know, i showed my hubby the digital and he was like how is that even possible already 🤣🤷‍♀️

@AnxiousAnnie86 not so bad then. Im in Scotland and its a waiting game for us, have a feeling we will be in lockdown before long again. Ill be working anyways as i work in a school so im quite lucky that way.

TheOrangeMonster · 07/11/2020 18:50

@Redfoot89 thanks, appreciated. It's coming up for 2 years and 8 months now, so starting to struggle more often.
I'm in England too - I think they'll lock us down until right up to Xmas and then again on January the 3rd - but if they tell people they can't see each other at Xmas people will just ignore them and do it anyway.

I think I'm 3dpo now - got my usual unsettled tummy so I don't think this is really my cycle, but then again none of the others have been either, so that doesn't surprise me.

Has anyone started Christmas shopping yet?😆

Redfoot89 · 07/11/2020 19:02

@TheOrangeMonster i can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling. You never know this might just be your cycle this time.

Yeah i agree, i just want to have dinner with my family at Christmas id happily not leave the house till then to do so.

I actually have! I have one niece and ive bought hers. On my side of the family we do a secret santa. Both my husband and i have bought ours! We haven't talked about if we are doing gifts for each other yet, waiting to see if this bean sticks first. I feel pretty productive so far! 😁

AnxiousAnnie86 · 07/11/2020 19:41

@TheOrangeMonster i think I've bought two things!!! I really need to start! I think I know for the most part what I'm buying so that helps!! We are having a low key Christmas anyway, just us and my dad, so that will be nice, then seeing DHs parents Boxing Day xx

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 08/11/2020 08:22

@Redfoot89 well, a sticky bean would be the best present of all, but the positive news is that the odds are WELL in your favour because most of them do stick (statistically).

We always start ours early too to spread the cost, so we've done about a third of it so far. I'm anticipating a lot of postage charges this year!
We've got our anniversary coming up first on 25th of this month and my Birthday 2 days later, so we have to get that out of the way first. I'm not sure how it'll go this year, given we can't leave the house, but we will think of something.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 08:34

@TheOrangeMonster aww I hope you think of something nice! It's our wedding anniversary on the 1st Dec and we are getting a takeout from our favourite local restaurant xx

OP posts:
Redfoot89 · 08/11/2020 09:45

@TheOrangeMonster yes we started last month. We actually don't have many to buy for so we are quite lucky. My husbands sister is in Paris just now and she is coming home for Christmas so we are looking forward to seeing her 😊 we take turn about each year, this year we are due to go to my hubbys mums for breakfast and my mum and dads for dinner.

Aww hopefully you find some nice way to celebrate from home. @AnxiousAnnie86 i love the idea of take out from a restaurant, we did that during our first lockdown and it was amazing, great value as well! Make a thing of it, get dressed up, have candles etc, maybe play games of some sort!

Blossom428 · 08/11/2020 10:34

It's our anniversary today too 😊 @Redfoot89 @AnxiousAnnie86
We did a take out from our fav restaurant, they do tapas boxes and it was sooo good!!

7dpo, I'm feel weird twinges and pulling, odd pains down below which I don't usually get. Probs just my mind playing tricks. But does feel weird.

WaitingForEgg · 08/11/2020 12:04

Hi all

Sorry had to take a little bit of time out. We have just moved house and are renovating. The hospital is also getting busier with lots of COVID stress, so lots of stress all round! I didn’t test OPK this month at all, i just felt i needed a break from it. Hoping it will just happen... but it doesn’t seem to be yet :(

TheOrangeMonster · 08/11/2020 18:40

@Redfoot89 @Blossom428 @AnxiousAnnie86 we're getting takeaway tonight - but actually I'm a pretty good cook (though I say it as shouldn't!) So DH always asks me to make something if we want posh food. I spent the whole of last lockdown learning how to make the kinds of foods that you crave but usually need to get in a restaurant, like naan bread, or proper deep fried Mac 'n' cheese balls, Chinese stuff etc etc.

@WaitingForEgg it'll happen, I felt like that right up until about 2/3 days ago.

@Blossom428 hopefully it means something? Though the number of times I've "noticed" something and it's just been my mind playing tricks. It's mad isn't it! Well, they do say 3rd time lucky so maybe it means threads and not cycles. We've already had two on here fall, perhaps there'll be more (though if the gods of fate are listening I'd really like to be one among them!!!)

@AnxiousAnnie86 how's the pup?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 18:59

@TheOrangeMonster pups a handful!!!! But looks like an angel

Awwww look at him @AnxiousAnnie86 so cute!! Puppy have the terrible nipping stage where the teeth are so sharp!

@TheOrangeMonster I know. Really trying not to read into it. So bad 🙈🙈 I feel time is going ridiculous slow this 2WW. And lockdown has made it so I don't really have plans to make it go quicker.

@WaitingForEgg do you know when AF is due? Or not because not sure when you ovulated?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 08/11/2020 22:21

@Blossom428 time really is going slow isn't it!! Is it 7dpo today for you? Xx

OP posts:
WaitingForEgg · 08/11/2020 23:28

@Blossom428 I’m cd 22 so I think prob another 10 days. But I don’t know when/if I ovulated.

@AnxiousAnnie86 puppy is gorgeous!!

Blossom428 · 09/11/2020 08:08

8dpo today @AnxiousAnnie86. Sometimes I really think oooh this could be the month. Then other times I just feel like it's not happened yet again.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 09/11/2020 10:38

@Blossom428 ooooo nearly there! When is AF Due? I really hope this is it for you! Is this cycle 4? X

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 09/11/2020 10:45

@AnxiousAnnie86 last cycle I had spotting on 12dpo- which will be Friday 13th - here's hoping it's not unlucky for me 🙈
No, this is cycle 7 now. I feel like so many have gone past now. Crazy.
When have you booked your scan for?

I'd love a BFP this cycle, as then i would be able to tell family on Christmas Day!!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 09/11/2020 10:51

7!!! That's flown!!! I feel like we started talking when you'd just started ttc!!!! We are hoping to get as far as Xmas and we will tell people then, I will hopefully be 13/14weeks at Christmas! Fingers crossed 🤞

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 09/11/2020 11:07

Haha I know, it's gone sooo fast! This year has just flown. Apart from this 2WW- this week is the slowest week ever!

Awww it just will be a lovely Christmas present won't it 😆😆
I just want to poas sooo bad 😂 I don't actually have any frer's. I've got the rubbish one step, and then a clear blue early detection. And couple of digital ones I bought early on.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 09/11/2020 11:38

@Blossom428 just hoping I make it that far! Feel like I'm living on a knife edge... I tested on 14 with a frer and a one step, which is my due date and the frer was really dark and there was no questioning the line on one step so I do think it would of shown up a good few days before AF Was due, not that I'm trying to encourage early testing!!!! This is why I always peed on opks!! It killed the urge😞

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 09/11/2020 11:45

@Blossom428 I've started having weird little pulling sensations too now!
The utterly ridiculous thing is I can't remember if I've had these at 5dpo before. Probably.

Jeez, I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster this month - I'm literally flip flopping back and forth between "no way is this going to happen without medical intervention" and "what if this actually is the cycle?" It's maddening.

Decided that if no dice this time, we're going to stop "trying" altogether and test the theory that it only happens when you can't be bothered.

Peony20 · 09/11/2020 11:56

Hi everyone

First time on a thread! I am 36 almost 37, 6 months in of TTC with no luck yet. Every month I've gotten a peak result on ovulation tests but this month nothing and no ovulation symptoms either and now on CD15 (Previous predictions have been CD13/14) so disappointed, now to wait until next month. TTC is emotional and lonely :-) x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 09/11/2020 12:34

@TheOrangeMonster @Blossom428 from
About 7dpo I had pulling pains if I moved too quick in one direction like a sharp sudden pull... on each side x
