Awwww little Marty! How cute. Now he will keep you busy. I really want to get a puppy either before I have a baby or just after. I love the bond that children and dogs have. I've always grown up with them. OH isn't so keen so I'll have to keep persuading him. Or maybe just get him one for Christmas and he will fall in love haha.

Have you booked a scan in @AnxiousAnnie86 ?

@Blossom428 mine wasn't convinced but he's obsessed now! It's like having a newborn! Do it before!! I'm glad you got your rise that's good news!!

No I'm calling docs this morn, going to book a private scan for about three weeks time when I'm about 9 weeks xx

I'm super stressed and anxious due to the change in rules about Covid and how it affects my work etc, and I still haven't ovulated yet on cd31 - I can feel a cyst developing in there too.

Still no letter for either of us from the doctor.

If no ovulation by cd33 I'm going to stop temping.

Considering giving up.

@TheOrangeMonster thank you, I know it's a nightmare, I have tk work from home now, but my daughter goes to high school five mins from my office, which is an hours drive from our house! So now I have to do a two hour round trip morning and night!!!

I know how stressful waiting for ovulation is it drives me insane, I didn't ovulate till cd33 last month! X

Sorry to hear your having issues with ovulation taking forever @TheOrangeMonster . I really hope it happens soon for you. Unless it was a cycle where it misses ovulation 😫
I really hope Covid doesn't affect your work too much, or if you can get furlough if your work does that at least. Such a stressful time. Try to make sure youu do things for yourself and take time out to de stress.

I think it's probably delayed rather than skipped, my cycles are wildly irregular this year so I wouldn't be a bit surprised!

Ah well, on the plus side I got my hair done today, they managed to squeeze me in!

CD1 here ladies!! AF Bang on time!! But only a 9 day LP this month 😣 I'm currently in the gym working my fucking ass off to make myself feel better!!

@Chlo2701 I'm sorry about AF, my friend had a short LP phase, she saw a doc who gave her progesterone and it worked nearly straight away! Xx

Do you take anything during LP? I take vitamin B6 and the vitamin C tablets and felt that really helped mine.

@TheOrangeMonster can you apply for the self employed grant that they are offering- think they said it was 80% this time. I know not ideal. But fingers crossed there's something that can help.

@Blossom428 it is going slow isn't it!!!! Can start symptom spotting from today! Home stretch!!!! No sickness yet, bouts of nausea but nothing much. It's the tiredness that's a killer and I mean complete and utter exhaustion just had to half a hour nap before work! 😱
Could be pregnancy and puppy related combined.

I say I won't symptom spot, but that's not going to happen haha

@AnxiousAnnie86 hey! Ive been keeping quiet as trying not to think about it during the tww 🤣👍 af is due on the 12th for me and i am seriously fighting the urge to want to test early!!!!!! Im dying to do it. Been feeling sick for like a week and had some new cramps ive never felt the week before af usually comes but i keep thinking its all in my head!!

How are you feeling?

@Blossom428 I can apply for it, it's more that I love my job and I've been unable to really do it for 8 months, it's affecting my mental health.

Temp went up yesterday so possible O on Wednesday but not confirmed yet (temp needs to stay up for at least 3-4 days to confirm). We're covered for sex but when has that ever worked before 🤦‍♀️
On the plus side, I now have an appointment for 2nd Dec for the final test so here's hoping after that they can sort us out.

I've got this horrible feeling it's also DH though, and he still hasn't got his appointment yet. Oh well.

No symptom spotting for me this time, too stressful and I'm finding the less I look at TTC/pregnancy stuff at the moment the better it is for me. Will update in 2 weeks if AF turns up and also after appointment. Hope all is well with everyone in the TWW.

@AnxiousAnnie86 i honestly don't know, id like to think i can hold out til at least the day before im due on but im just not sure i have the will power🤣🤣

@Redfoot89 I eased the itch by testing on opks 😂

When did you test first with an opk @AnxiousAnnie86 ?

Sorry to hear that @TheOrangeMonster it must be devastating! I hope can continue to try do things a little differently and thinking outside the box. And also keep on doing things to help your own mental health and keeping busy!

@Blossom428 I think I started about four days before period was due snd it went positive about three days before I think xx

Sooooo i gave in and tested this morning. Aaaaaaaaah. Im terrified that its not going to stick. I must have ovulated earlier than i thought!!!

@Blossom428 oh definitely, I have plans for a new music festival next August, but we're working to plan it in a Covid-secure way so that it can take place in all but the very worst circumstances. We had a couple of trial events in August abs September this year with limited audience and they were so successful. It was like a brief light in the darkness. So I'm focusing on that. I really hope it works!

@Redfoot89 congratulations!!!!!! That puts you at 4-5 weeks x

@Redfoot89 yeah England, it's honestly not that much different to how it has been! We've been in local restrictions for some time now so haven't been able to do much anyway! X
