@HappyVibes you don't need a prescription for aspirin. It's just a low dose that you can buy but I suggest getting your bloods done first as the aspirin is given to treat clotting or platelet disorders so you may not need it. Progesterone will need prescribed but I think GPs are loathe to give it. You may need to see a specialist.

chloedancer897 · 31/10/2020 11:09

@RubyRainbow16 your temp can go up and down. It's called biphasic or triphasic patterns so don't panic! There's a great woman on YouTube called ingefleur and she has some brill videos on interpreting your chart x

chloedancer897 · 31/10/2020 11:12

Period came, like clockwork, on time as expected. So that's me done guys. I'm done TTC. Like I said, I'll linger on the thread to see how people are getting on but this door is closed for me. I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of your support and guidance since May. It's been a crazy year for everyone with a pandemic thrown in but you've all been so amazing and I appreciate everything. Good luck on your journeys and I hope you all get your little rainbow babies soon xo

HappyVibes · 31/10/2020 11:32

Thanks @chloedancer897 i have the clotting bloods due soon so that’s good. It’s more the progesterone I am hoping for consideration if needed tbf - my specialist appt to discuss all bloods is expected to come through for November so hopefully it all aligns well.

Sorry to hear about AF. I hope you do find your true happiness lovely. Sending you lots of healing & positive vibes 💓

For anyone who is Capricorn and has had a shit year TTC, please look in to astrology...our star sign indicates that we haven’t had luck on our side in terms of fertility. However, come mid November, the astrology lines up much better for us and all positivity from there on 💫 💓

RubyRainbow16 · 31/10/2020 14:21

@chloedancer897 thanks for your input I’ll definitely have a look at that on YouTube - it’s my first month of BBT so still getting my head around it. Sorry to hear you’ve closed the door on TTC all the best to you who knows what the future holds

RichmondLady1981 · 31/10/2020 18:03

@RubyRainbow16 at around 7dpo you have a second surge of oestrogen. This has the opposite effect as progesterone and lowers your body temp. This is normal. Should go back up tomorrow. X

@chloedancer897 I hope you’re ok and we all respect your decision. But I have a feeling this isn’t a closed door for you. I hear so many success stories for those who take their minds away from TTC. We certainly haven’t given up hope for you x

MgW1 · 31/10/2020 19:12

Hi
I have an braun in ear thermometer and usually each earth gives me a different reading! Can anyone recommend a good thermometer x

RubyRainbow16 · 31/10/2020 20:21

@RichmondLady1981 thanks for that info, not sure if my last post was unclear but I’m the opposite, my temps have been increasing the last few days and have gone really high, even higher than at ovulation, I was just wondering if this was normal? X

RichmondLady1981 · 31/10/2020 21:34

It’s usually a great sign of pregnancy. Usually after implantation (approx day 6-8dpo) if temps go up it’s a good sign of pregnancy!! Just remember though that being ill or drinking can heighten bbt. But if neither of those apply it’s great news!!! Sorry if I misunderstood. Everything crossed for you! Keep us posted. 😁 💋.

RubyRainbow16 · 01/11/2020 07:59

@RichmondLady1981 ahh I was hoping for that 🤞🏻 It started going up 6DPO and I’m on 8DPO now and still high temp. Now to try not to get my hopes up this week 😂 thanks!

Runnergirl1 · 01/11/2020 09:46

Here’s hoping this is my sticky bean. Seen some good line progression. 🌈

WatermelonSugar10 · 01/11/2020 10:06

Congratulations @Runnergirl1 !! Amazing progression.

@chloedancer897 sorry that your AF came, mine came yesterday, right on time but I did know it was coming so wasn't surprised just gutted. I hope your rainbow comes xxxx

@HappyVibes Capricorn right here! Yay - some positive news. Here's hoping.

I got the low dose of aspirin from the pharmacy on Wednesday as I heard it can help but then I read if you don't have clotting it can cause issues....all such mixed reviews. Given I haven't had a single test yet, maybe I should wait but would love to hear any experiences.

MSG92 · 01/11/2020 11:17

@Runnergirl1 congratulations!! That's amazing, no doubting that line has been getting darker and darker. What day post ovulation did you start seeing a line?

RichmondLady1981 · 01/11/2020 11:25

@Runnergirl1 this is amazing. HUGE congratulations to you.

Did you do anything different this cycle? 😁

Runnergirl1 · 01/11/2020 12:09

@MSG92 the first one is 14dpo and the second is 16dpo. Not sure that’s right but according to apps and cb advanced.

@RichmondLady1981 nothing different other than my Brazil nuts where covered in chocolate this time haha and my usual pom juice and pregnancy vitamins x

RichmondLady1981 · 01/11/2020 12:23

@Runnergirl1 haha!

Didn’t you mention (i thibk!!??) that you were DTD every other day? We had planned to do the same this time as found every day exhausting. We also ready that it’s a good amount of time to replenish so to speak 😆. Will do every day from peak though but until I get a static it will be every other day. I’ve had a flashing for 5 days now!! Annoying. I think my body tried to ovulate 5/6 days ago but gave up and is going to make another attempt soon!

Again so so pleased for you. Stay chilled and don’t get sucked into the craziness of going back to school. Health first x

Runnergirl1 · 01/11/2020 12:52

@RichmondLady1981 yeah we only do it every other day and think we did it day before ovulation and day after as it fell

I know really worried about work. I e been self isolating anyway as 8 out of 10 staff members have had it. There is only me and two tas in when we get back on Monday and they are bringing 5 supply staff in to cover the short fall.l which I ain’t happy about.

Thank you very much though, it will come for you I’m sure just keep on that cb opk and get on it. 🤞🏻 For you this month x

Bellabubble · 01/11/2020 13:06

@Runnergirl1 @RichmondLady1981 I haven’t told school yet - I wanted to wait until I know everything is going in the right direction next sat - but my ta left and they aren’t holding interviews until Tues :( and I have a new boy starting that also needs 1:1 so my current 1:1 TA is now a 1:2 - trying really hard not to panic! On a plus it might just replace my pregnancy anxiety!

RichmondLady1981 · 01/11/2020 14:24

@Bellabubble
That’s really not conducive to you being able to try and keep your stress levels low. Sounds like a nightmare.
What’s the head like? Reasonable? Worth talking to him/her?

HappyVibes · 01/11/2020 15:09

Aww amazing @Runnergirl1 How lovely for you 💓So so happy for you lovely. Xxxx

Runnergirl1 · 01/11/2020 15:12

@Bellabubble I will be telling my head tomorrow as they are supposed to do risk assessments with the current situation. I did last time, although difficult to tell them you have miscarries but it’s for safety really. I work with reception kids so stay in distant etc is not possible. I hope they solve your problem. Some schools are useless and mine for one is x

Bellabubble · 01/11/2020 15:20

@RichmondLady1981 I think my head will be good for this situation, as he knows when I say I need help I mean it (I tend to try and cooe as much as piss for as long as poss which I know isn’t the greatest way to be!) I have a bit of a plan too - often if I have a solution to the problem he likes it as it’s one less thing for him to have to think about (I don’t mean that badly - I think heads and deputy’s have sooooo much on their plate right now!!)

@Runnergirl1 ahhhh early years is my speciality! I ised to teach a mixed pre-school/yrR class - but my new school doesn’t have a nursery (yet - I keep pushing lol!) I was in Reception then was moved to Year 3 last year and am now Y1/2 this year - also no social distancing bless them! It reminds me a lot of Reception as where a lot were home for so many months, they sre having to re-learn all the PSED skills bless them! I know I should tell me head asap - and this is really stupid - but last time I told him, I started apotting the next day then went on to miscarry - so I stupidly feel like history will repeat itself!

Runnergirl1 · 01/11/2020 15:48

@Bellabubble that’s fair enough I would be like that not wanting repeat history. How far are you now? See i was showing from about 6weeks. Yes just bloat but I really looked pregnant so people where getting suspicious anyway so probs won’t be able to hide it lol. I love it but yeah worst year group to distance from and I do worry about getting the virus a lot x
