Hi ladies, can I join the thread? In the same boat as a lot of you - got my peak LH yesterday and suspect I'll ovulate today (not measuring BBT as I'm too lazy). Looking for support as I head into my fourth TWW. The last cycles have been more stressful than I expected, and it's nice to have support going into it

@Sip123 I’m 5 DPO so suspect it’s an ovulation symptom although I don’t get it every month.

🤞🏻 for all of us, out of interest do you all wait until your period is due or do you take early detection tests? I’m so impatient. Also, how many of you are ttc for the first time?

@chillyfields I am also in my fourth TWW and I too have found it more difficult than I thought I would x

@nottoosurewhattoput this is my first time ttc, I have loads of early detection tests as I too am impatient 😂 but I’m going away with my OH on Friday and am coming back Wednesday next week so I’m purposely not going to bring any tests with me so that I don’t feel down for the rest of my time away if it’s BFN and then the earliest I can test I’ll be 13 dpo ☺️

I agree I find the tww hard and the bfn at the end hit me harder than I thought, I knew how much I want a positive but thought I was prepared or may not happen right away.

We are trying for our first this is our third month trying

@nottoosurewhattoput it's so hard isn't it? I thought I'd be so chilled about it all and take the "it'll happen when it happens" approach, but I feel I'm going mad not knowing! Fingers crossed it's fourth time lucky for us both x

@Nam095 me too first time ttc, looks like a few of us are in the same boat! That’s a great way to take your mind off it and definitely don’t take any tests with you ☺️.

Just found out one of my colleagues is pregnant and it was an accident, I’m really happy for her but just makes me feel jealous lol you know what I mean? I’ve only been ttc for 2 months though so it’s still early days for me, just need to be patient

@Nam095 definitely, I think being slightly jealous is a normal thing especially when someone says it was an accident. I often feel annoyed when people say that 😩 don’t worry - completely normal x

@Nam095 I've heard so many good things about it so I thought why not try! 😆 How confusing for your app! Mine decided to change from ovulating 19th to ovulating 21st, but I'm still going with my first reading from opk kits!
Also cat hung up on recent convos! My Ohs best friend and partner have found out they're expecting which was also an accident! I was very envious but so happy for them 😆

Just had some pink when I wiped and I had mild cramps for about 15 mins today, I’m only 4 dpo though so it won’t mean anything right?

@Nam095 it could well do would be about the right timing.. but I guess don’t get your hopes up either.

It is hard not to be envious, my oh friend due and they literally chose the day they wanted to conceive to fit in with work and hey presto they were pregnant!!

Just read info on here about odds depending on age etc and how long it usually takes

@Sip123 Me and OH are both 26 and were trying but not trying fir 12 months.... now were taking a more in depth approach! 😆

I am 33 oh if 35 so not old but not spring chickens in the bay making world 🤣

Morning ladies hope you’re all doing well! So I think I had another failed ovulation, my temp has dropped significantly today. I think I’m going to ask my GP for a blood test to check my progesterone but with Covid still lingering about I don’t know if they’ll even agree to it. Feeling very deflated today

@Nam095 morning! Are you sure its not the implantation drop? If it is it may go back up again lovely? I work in a gp surgery and we've been doing blood tests so are my own surgery, they might do it

@Nam095 see how it goes as, as @Jemmy94 says it can drop on implantation and then rise again...

I’m on 4dpo and mines still rising so who knows mine did dip on day 5 last time but Bfn.. however didn’t go back up which I think it should if successful implantation

@Jemmy94 @Sip123 thank you both ☺️ I just think it’s too early for implantation and with my failed ovulation last time I’m not getting my hopes up. I’ll still ring my GP today and see if I can speak to my doctor at least, see what they say. How are you both feeling today? x

I know I'm worried about getting my hopes up as I did last time and like yourself got a bfn! Hopefully your doctor can give you some blood tests, it may help put your mind at rest 😊

I think I'm 7 dpo but my app is saying 5 dpo. I had a drop in temp today and feeling so sick and just not myself. I usually sleep like a baby but have had three nights waking up constantly. Yesterday and the last three evenings when I've been going to bed ive had cramps, my sense of smell is up slightly but I don't know if that's just me getting my hopes up

@Jemmy94 it’s so hard isn’t it I had all of this last month and bfn and was really upset so trying not to acknowledge anything this time but not easy... am only 4dpo so wouldn’t have any yet anyway

I agree @Nam095 about trying to ask doctors I was think I may try ask for progesterone test if no luck this time so interested to hear what your docs say

Got my phone appointment booked for this morning, I’ll keep you posted on what she says 😁 I know it’s so hard to try and not look so much into the symptoms you get, I’ve had cramps this morning as well and I’m like hmm what is that 😂

4 Dpo is early i think 7dpo is too 😅It is hard ladies, but at least we aren't alone in this journey 😊
