This is how my TTC journey has gone...
Jan 2020....completely DTD the wrong days as it was a 42 day cycle and I assumed 30
Same thing with May 2020...(in between we stopped due to first wave of covid)
I'm discounting both of them...
So it's just June to December and January was a write off thanks to Covid! So that's only 6 months 😫 but I have been wanting this over a year aaaghh!

@MrsTwentyEight fingers crossed you'll get your bfp in the next few months. At least you are a bit younger than us! I hope you don't have to go down the fertility investigations route as well. 🙈

So I'm currently CD35 and I think I'm due in a week maybe ? I just want AF to show already so I can start the next cycle!!!

@MrsTwentyEight I think once you realise it isn't going to happen straight away, it is really frustrating!

@MrsTwentyEight ah yes I forgot about your covid break! You're still in with a good shot then :)

I'm CD12, temps are weirdly high so I'm a bit worried I ovulated on CD9 but we'll see - I've had this worry before only to get an even bigger rise later. DTD yesterday and OH remembered!! As in, he remembered it was the start of FW and he initiated DTD because of it.

Seeing as I'll be on my period for Valentine's and I'm still doing dry jan/feb I've asked OH if we can just get drunk on the 14th. I'll need the booze to drown my sorrows!

I'm on CD37...no AF. I think maybe 4 days left ? If I OV-Ed the second time. I have lots and lots of CM this month and while normally this would be my crazy "ooooo what if"...I know Covid means maybe I still haven't OV-ed 🤣 FFS

@MrsTwentyEight only CD8 for me today, so shouldn't have yet. We dtd twice so far already and now I need a break. 🤣 Sometimes it hurts to do it often (beginning of the month he hits things that shouldn't be there) so its not always pleasant. Although from around now it should stop happening. I cannot believe how much more pleasurable it is during FW. I actually enjoy it so it's no hardship. I spent years on the pill having no idea it could be good. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm on seven seas still and I've about run out so bought 2 more packs. I'm also trying EPO again. I literally hold out zero hope now though for it happening naturally. I'm just hoping the fertility stuff goes the right way. Just over a week to go until my appointment now! And @Juno231 is nearly there!

You probably did ovulate, it just would have been random so harder to predict when it was. It would have delayed until it thought you were better. How thoughtful? 😆

@paintfairy ooo really! I must say I haven't noticed pain but its all hormones isn't it, so variable! Good luck with your appointment both of you! Good idea about vitamins. I take the natures best one as I buy other supplements from there.

I think I may ask for blood tests just for peace of mine as an initial step. I had an evap line today - why on EARTH I did a test when I didn't manage to DTD this month properly I do not know...just so embarrassing to even admit ughh. Oh well! Haha!

@MrsTwentyEight oooh are you sure it was an evap? And good idea on the blood tests - at least then if you need to get a referral that piece is done.

@paintfairy I always wonder if OH realises it's my cervix he's touching when he's down there... Grosses me out sometimes 😅

@MrsTwentyNine noooo. Give your GP a call to get day 3 tests done? Is it time to do a name change again btw?

Also yes! Please give me a breakdown of tests they do! 3 day...now what is that exactly

@MrsTwentyNine ha well it's done on CD2 or CD3 so maybe it's more realistic for you to get it next cycle! That one checks all the hormonal stuff that isn't progesterone essentially. Prolactin for stress or pituitary gland problems, TSH and T4 to check your thyroid, testosterone and androgen for PCOS, LH and FSH to see if you're entering early menopause etc.

Day 21 only checks progesterone to confirm if you ovulate. Per the NICE guidelines you're supposed to get it done 7 days before AF as that's more accurate than insisting on day 21 on the assumption that everyone ovulates on CD14.

After that they refer you for an ultrasound to check for fibroids, cysts, your uterine lining, any uterus abnormalities etc.

OH will need to schedule an SA separately as well.

Once all of the above has been done and nothing is wrong/still no baby they refer you to a fertility clinic. If something is wrong though they refer you without forcing you to do all the other tests first I think.

Nothing to report here. Have my next scan on Sunday, and I suppose this is the biggie for me as it needs to pick up heartbeat. Finally got hospital booking appointment letter/scan as well and that's two weeks from today (should be 12 week scan).

@Juno231 🤣 I would consider him average. Anything too big would surely hit all the time? 😆
I'm CD 13 today. So I should have ovulated. My guess is yesterday with CM, but I'm not tracking.

@MimiArm good luck with scan!! You'll have a better idea of due date too. Numbers calming down in hospital so I think august time will be perfectly normal hopefully 🙏🏼

CD2 here and my oh my do I have heavy periods Another 35 or so day long wait now to find out if successful or not gahh what even is this, officially cycle 7 now 🙄

We've lost the baby. There was no heartbeat on scan this morning and no growth since the last scan.

Consultant is making me an appointment at the EPU for this week so I can decide on next step. Either wait it out for it to happen naturally, tablets or surgical procedure. He said they prefer tablets cos of covid but I'd read about the tablets, and it sounds horrific. All options are horrible but I'd rather have the D&C if I can 💔

@MimiArm oh my god. I went cold reading that. I'm so so sorry. I've no experience of the options so I think you just need to weigh it up and see what's best?
I know this doesn't help right now, but the fact the drugs worked means it'll work again and you'll have your chance. I genuinely believe you will. But this is really crap for you right now. Please take care of yourself xxx
