@paintfairy From what I've been told and what I've read, Clomid is supposed to be taken from CD2-CD6, one tablet a day. I wouldn't mind as long as I know ovulation deffo takes place around CD14 but if it's happening later, then LP is too short. I'll maybe phone the clinic to ask.

The spotting is weird - I did spot a few cycles ago for over two weeks (that was my 61 day cycle 🙄).

You seem fairly regular and this cycle is a good length as you were only a day behind me!

Hopefully my suggestions help to release the wind. This is the reason I'm happy to be WFH. Ordinarily in office life, I'd be in pain for over half the day, every single day. At home, I'm rarely in pain because I can let it out when I need to 😂🙈 so it doesn't get trapped as much!

@paintfairy I'm with the fairies so hoping your spotting is actually just IB.

@mimiarm I'm sorry AF showed :/ 25 day sounds really good provided that you don't ovulate late so could be worth tracking this time. Doubt any LP prolonging concoctions are needed though!

CD5 here and AF finished yesterday - which is unusually long for me but I don't mind. I've been really weepy since starting this cycle and cry at the drop of a hat so I think work, ttc and Christmas is all getting to me now.

On the bright side I got my amh result back today already and it's fine! Up a bit from last time which shouldnt be possible lol but I'll take that as lab fluctuations. At least it's not drastically dropped and is still within a normal range.

To be fair the spotting is brown and so minimal right now, its barely there. It'll likely increase tomorrow though. I love your optimism! 😁
Awww I'm sorry you are a bit fed up. I guess we all have it? And you are allowed. Hopefully you'll get a break over Christmas?

@MimiArm My cycle is usually 26 days. Which is a bit short but my LP is 14 days. Definitely worth tracking to put your mind at rest. My concern (with me) is ovulating so early means the egg isn't mature enough? And this month it came later (I'm wondering if it was the dr stress that did that!) and I've not spotted. So I feel I'll have a better chance ttc if the ovulation is later. When I took soya it actually bought it forward even more when I took it day 2. Hence i decided that was not a good thing. On day 4 it left my ovulation at the time it usually fell. I'm yet to find anything that seems to push it back slightly. Which is a shame.

With wind i usually sit on my knees and bend forward. And raise my arse in the air. Which is less glamorous than your suggestion. 🤣

@Juno231 red blood spotting now. Sigh.

CD1 for me. I didn't want an August baby anyway. 🙄😫

Here's hoping they manage to do the blood test Friday. Its booked for 11.30 and I'm slightly worried about the late time as I know they usually do blood first thing because of it being sent off. My DH said surely they know that? I was like- they've ballsed everything up so far. Who knows! 🤣

So Covid vaccine not for women who are hoping to get pregnant in the next 3 months...
It sounds too good to be true at this point to hope it will happen in the next 3 months but I'm going to not take it just in case 😶

@MrsTwentyEight I'm pleased to have a slight excuse. There's no reason any of shouldn't be pregnant in the next 3 months (theoretically) so certainly I wouldn't take the risk. But then I wouldn't want it anyway. There's so many past times in history problems have come out after its all too late! I didn't realise the swine flu one caused so many issues in children and the saga with that is still ongoing. So there'll be no vaccine coming near me! 🤣

@MrsTwentyEight oh thanks for highlighting that, I hadn't even thought of it. I guess I won't be taking it then :/

Might get tricky if they're implementing vaccine passports and/or if work ask you to take it before coming back 😬

Although I'm not seeing anything negative in relation to swine flu vaccine but it's better to be safe than sorry!

So- day 3 blood test taken today. The nurse doing it though was confused why we aren't repeating day 21 and thinks we should. Because she reckons they are funny about it being from different cycles and it's best to do it, rather than not and then have another delay. 🙄 So she's booked me in. Obviously that's hard to guess (until I've tracked) and actually looking at it - I'm predicting right now it'll actually fall on a weekend (sunday)? I've booked it for the Monday. I can obviously ring and swap it if it doesn't look to be the right day but there's not much I can do about the weekend issue!

@paintfairy The weekend shouldn't matter as the window to take it is 6-9dpo. I just hope it doesn't mean theyre delaying the rewerral by another 3 weeks due to their incompetence.

Thanks for the link! The information is pretty conflicting though as there's also lots of studies that seem to prove the opposite lol. The most I've seen is a slight increase in asthma cases.

Hi ladies. I haven't even thought about the vaccine on the basis that I figured it wouldn't be rolled out here to me for ages yet.

@paintfairy Your saga continues - honestly, they make it so bloody complicated!! Fingers crossed it goes smoothly from now on (what else could go wrong?)

I'm CD8 and started using OPKs 3 days ago. Flashing smiley yesterday and static smiley this morning. How early is that?!

Haven't DTD - was supposed to last night but we had a row (!). Suppose I'm gonna have to push that aside and DTD tonight now there's a positive OPK. We aren't still rowing but it takes me a day or so to be back to normal after falling out so when I saw the static smiley, I wasn't exactly thrilled. Don't wanna waste one month of precious Clomid tablets though.

@MimiArm I'm like that. Even though we aren't arguing i take time to get over it and I'm like- yeah I'm OK but i don't want to be that near you yet. 🤣 So its a pain if it falls near FW. It's happened to me before.

CD 8 is early! Wow. I suspect I'll get a normal 26 day cycle this time but we shall see. I had more pains on CD1 and 2 than normal and AF was heavier. But again today (3) its light now. So I do think ovulating later means a slightly heavier AF for me.

@MimiArm wow that is early! I have had flashing smileys for a week nearly so you may not get your static for a few days ...row may be over by then 🤣

There has to something in that for longer cycles. My 25 cycles result in barely 2 days of AF.

@MrsTwentyEight it wasn't a flashing smiley yesterday, it was static! I think I'm ovulating today (CD9). Will be interesting to see how this cycle pans out!

@MimiArm I would suggest carrying on testing if you can - a static smiley doesn't necessarily mean you'll ovulate if it's this early on. I'd guess your body will try again in a few more days time?

@Juno231 I don't really see the point in continue to test. It's already been a stark dark line on the OPK, I've got EWCM and I've got the achy ovary pains so I can't see how the test isn't accurate. It may be early but there's also the Clomid to take into account and I think it's deffo working. Given I have short cycles, I don't think I see a huge problem in ovulating early - I'd rather early than a late ovulation in the circumstances. I'm just surprised because when I used to track, I used to get positive tests around CD17/18 (not that they meant anything since I wasn't ovulating!)

Right so I had a peak opk this morning and a temp dip so I suspect today is the day. Unfortunately I only managed to convicted OH to DTD on Saturday and nothing else! Will grab him when he comes home from work but am a bit worried Dec is a bit of a write off already.

Hahahaha!! Okay now that you say it...definitely does sound it!

Ahh I don't know about DTD so I was flicking through my past 6 months of TTC on my Clue app and we have only been DTD like 4 times a month ...around FW...that surely is not enough -.- This month I think today might be it and yes tonight is the plan and my last DTD was saturday like you 😂 Tues and Thurs before that...ahhh who knows
