Oh Muppet never mind!

A July baby would still be great and although we're OBVIOUSLY going to get loads of BFPs in here, some of the lovely ladies from this thread will still be around to keep you company and I know they'll look after you well with biscuits and everything!

Can you make AF feel really unwelcome by mysteriously packing her bags and feeding her gruel until she goes away?

GardenAngel4 · 02/10/2007 17:27

July babies rock. Can't afford a June baby - already have DH, brother, dad and two friends in June, way too crowded.

Can I sneak over to this one??

shreksmissus don't go too far, keep popping in. We're going to give it a shot tonight and hopefully tomorrow and then that's it for the month.

libralady - you MUST be curious????

debinaustria · 02/10/2007 17:27

Oh Muppet - I am sorry

Hope you get your bfp soon

Deb

Muppetmuggle. Keeping my fingers crossed for your BFP this time round.

GardenAngel4 · 02/10/2007 20:25

debinaustria the days are creeping up! you must have been on tenterhooks all day! Fingers crossed.

muppet sending you lots of ex-portsmouth love. Come with me into July!x

PicknMix · 02/10/2007 20:34

Muppet hope you're feeling ok, sorry to hear about your af arriving. Didn't realise you live in Portsmouth - I live just down the road near Chichester.

fairysnuff · 02/10/2007 20:43

Oh dear poor you muppet
But maybe you will get an chance at an october BFP?
I would have no chance. It is one go or I am off to November.
My sister was born in July, at least she always had some sunshine ok, well, not always. We do live in Scotland!!

Well, thats two more ladies I know who are 12 weeks preggers
So that is DH's theory that we would finish the second set of three.
Still, I guess we could complete the third set? Maybe that would be better.
3 is my favourite number

Oh the things I will conjure up just to make myself feel better.
Though again, I can't make myself jealous of them, they all deserve it. And I am on early days yet so can still afford to be...whats that fancy word.oh, maybe not so fancy, I think it is just 'generous'
I can afford to be generous

On another note, Why does DH expect me to do all the clothes washing, hanging out, and folding (we don't do ironing in this house) only for him to dump it in the bedroom in a right mess (undoing all my folding) and then, eventually, stuff it into his wardrobe??
Also why must men leave their wet towels in stupid places?
I have a wet bum cos he left it on my side of the bed, where I have the laptop. grrr

Hmph , maybe no BD for me tonight!!

OOh another thought!!
DD refused the boob tonight, do you think it is cos I have changed to making colostrum for a new baby and she doesn't like it
Cha' right!!!!!

spookykitty · 02/10/2007 20:57

hello to the evening ladies

muppet - July babies are cool DD1 has had 2 BBQs for her birthday the past 2 years and thats in Scotland too

deb - so so keeping everything crossed for you when you testing, who's up for a mass Thursday test then?

hi to everyone else off to watch Bringing Up Baby and shout at the evil Claire Verity woman

josey · 02/10/2007 20:57

been trying to catch up this thread has just grown so much, are we dipping our toes in fertilizer at night??

Had a very strange time of it since yesterday, the blooming builders cut off our electric last night at 4 was off till 7 grr that completely wronged the computer and have only got internet working this avo

when I took DS to school dd had a accident and I came home to her sitting on DH knee with blood all over the place, she tripped on the stairs and split her chin

anyway hope everyone is doing well gutted i missed the shortbread last night! though I did get to go to the chip shop for tea as i couldnt cook, mmm the salt and vinger was soooo goooood

GardenAngel4 · 02/10/2007 20:59

am off to watch 'bringing up baby' too!

Nakamura · 02/10/2007 21:11

Hello everyone, can I join in? I'm a bit of a lurker, but have just started the TTC thing. Haven't got the hang of the jargon just yet tho - not sure where I am with CD?

Nakamura · 02/10/2007 21:44

oops, would be quite an achievement to have killed off the thread with my first post

hope you're all off watching Bringing Up Baby...

TheMuppetMuggle · 02/10/2007 21:51

Hi Thanks everyone

Pix where about in Chi are you??
Garden where from portsmouth??

pigleychez · 02/10/2007 21:57

Welcome Nakamura

Is this your first cycle of TTC?

This thread is great and full of like minded people. Great for symptom spotting in the 2 week wait (2ww)

Im on my first full cycle ttc number 1. What about you?

Took me a while to learn all the lingo but you soon pick it up.

This thread has been really lucky and we have had quiet a few BFP's (Big Fat Positives)
Stay with us and you might get lucky too!!

Chez

fairysnuff · 02/10/2007 22:10

Don't worry, Nakamura, it would take some doing to kill this thread off!

We are all too addicted to the baby dust that is flying around in this room!!

Count your CD (cycle days) from the first day of your last period and add your self to the list

Welcome

to the mad house!!

MissusH · 02/10/2007 22:21

Evening everybody

(Hellooo Nakamura - make yourself at home...)

Meant to wander in earlier but was sucked into that other addiction, Facebook....

Anyway, I am outwardly nonchalant (ooh been dying to use that word for ages ) about this whole ttc thing, but am obsessing in my head!! I even changed the brand of the pro-natal vits this month when the old pack ran out. Figured that using the same ones as when I was ttc dd would have the desired effect for #2

I am officially bonkers...

spookykitty · 02/10/2007 22:31

MissusH - you are not bonkers come and join the loopy boat as I've called it, it's for all us obsessing about EWCM, cervix position, sore boobs, opks, hpts, BFPs, CDs, dpos or just going mad on the 2ww. It's a nice wee boat moored away from dry land (and normal people) where we can go insane to our hearts content. Anyone else coming aboard???

Nakamura - welcome to the thread, it's a mad one thats for sure but lovely and friendly, so when was your last period, thats your CD1, if you have a 28 day cycle around CD14 you will ovulate and you need to have loads of BD (baby dancing thats what we call sex, don't ask I never got that one either) around this critical time after that you are on the 2ww (2 week wait) thats when you get all obsessed about being pregnant until you either get your period (called Auntie Flo again don't know why) or a BFP (big fat positive) thereby you graduate and join the Due in June 08 list where you can start obsessing about a whole new host of things, and thats about it really!!!! PS you don't support a certain green team from Glasgow do you?

josey - hope you DD is feeling better now, my DD1 always had a habit of only hurting herself when DP was in charge.

Boobs still tender tonight (maybe because I'm prodding them too much ) 2 more days until I can test

fairysnuff · 02/10/2007 22:46

What does everyone think of my theory on DD not feeding??

fairysnuff · 02/10/2007 22:47

What does 2ww stand for anyway?

I want to join early
